Abstract: A gasification apparatus has a primary chamber with a floor comprising a hearth and feedstock augers, for gasification of feedstock. There is a mixing chamber for receiving through an opening synthetic gases from the primary chamber and comprising an air inlet fan for adding oxygen for ignition. There is also a secondary chamber linked with the mixing chamber to deliver heat from combustion of gases from the mixing chamber to the hearth. An outlet valve delivers gases from the secondary chamber through a heat exchanger and to an induce draft fan. A controller dynamically controls flow of gases in the chambers according to sensed pressures and temperatures in said chambers.
Abstract: A cable system is provided which is configured with both electric wires and a fluid conduit running through the axial passage of a surround sheath of the cable. The system allows for communication of electricity over the wires for electrical circuits and concurrent communication of a fire ignition suppressant fluid or gas through the fluid conduit, to all points in an electric circuit using the cable. Suppressant chambers may be located in junction boxes in such circuits to locally extinguish electrical fires.
Abstract: A method and apparatus teach a plurality of keys to an authorization device in a vehicle. The keys that are in a reception range of a transmission unit of the authorization device receive a test signal from the authorization device. The respective key ascertains a key-specific time window from at least one signal parameter of the test signal that is dependent on the physical location of the key, during which the respective key transmits a response signal that can be received by the transmission unit and recorded by the authorization device.
Abstract: An exhaust gas suppressor which suppresses the generation of harmful gases contained in exhaust gases from internal combustion engines, wherein secondary air is efficiently heated to high temperature by a double-tubed heater installed downstream of the exhaust manifold of the internal combustion engine so as to connect to the internal combustion engine and is added to a mixture of primary air and fuel present in the suction manifold, the mixture being then fed to an eddy generating device, which generates eddies in the mixture for the complete gasification.
