Abstract: A cover plate is disclosed for a hydraulic control panel that houses a series of manually operable valves for controlling a plurality of hydraulic cylinders associated with an implement such as a backhoe. The cover plate includes a one-piece plastic base with a plurality of upstanding, spaced apart, integral formations along its longitudinal extent through which a plurality of control handles are inserted and attached to the valves. Each formation on the cover plate is generally box-shaped with open sides and aligned openings in its upper and lower walls to permit the passage of a respective control handle through the cover plate. A closed-cell, rectangular block insert is sandwiched within each cover plate formation with an opening therethrough which is aligned with the upper and lower openings in the formation.
Abstract: A tractor is provided with a clutch case, a transmission case at the rear side of this clutch case and left and right steps attached to these cases. A frame is transversely extended from said clutch case. Foot covers are attached to said frame and said foot covers.
Abstract: The improvement in motor home construction using a conventional height van vehicle, to provide greater dropped floor area and convenience, and which includes removing a section of the van floor over and on one side of the vehicle drive shaft to provide a floor opening exposing the drive shaft, prefabricating a pan member to fit said floor opening and cover said drive shaft, and having said pan member formed to provide a step covering over the drive shaft, a recessed area for greater toe clearance and turning ease, and structural reinforcement of interrupted frame members without a material change in the shaft and road clearances otherwise obtained.
Abstract: A car floor tray including a perforated floor portion for receiving the footwear of a vehicle occupant, a tray portion underlying the perforated floor portion for receiving liquid which drains through the floor portion, a compartment in communication with the tray for receiving absorbent material for absorbing liquid which drains into the compartment from the tray, and selectively replaceable absorbent material in the compartment.
Abstract: An anti-skid protective cap for actuating pedals, such as brake pedals and the like, of a motor vehicle with a single downwardly projecting deflecting surface constructed so as to provide good sliding characteristics. This deflecting surface accomodates the sliding of the operator's shoe sole edge therealong during a pedal change. The deflecting surface is provided on the side of the protective cap facing a gas pedal, whereby the operator's shoe is prevented from getting stuck under the actuating pedal. The shoe-engaging portion of the cap may be artificially aged by applying a coating of an aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite, or it may be provided with a coating of an elastic lacquer.

Abstract: A gearshift mechanism for a manually controlled transmission adapted for use with a tilt cab truck wherein provision is made for mounting the gearshift mechanism to permit a free floating action thereby obtaining compliance with the motion of the cab relative to the truck frame and chassis.
Abstract: A sliding clasp fastener has a pair of sliders movable on and along a pair of element-supporting tape edges, the sliders having element-separating ends disposed in confronting relationship to each other. A retainer member connects the sliders together and maintains the sliders in spaced-apart relation to defining therebetween a gap or space where fastener elements are uncoupled. The sliding clasp fastener has utility for covering an opening in the top surface of a selector box mounted in an automatic transmission-type automobile with a transmission selector lever extending through the gap between the sliders.
