Abstract: A conical friction ring transmission has a fluid supply for wetting at least one of the main transmission elements with fluid. The fluid supply has a drop dispenser from which fluid drops onto the main transmission element and/or an outlet from which fluid falls onto the main transmission element. A method operates a conical friction ring transmission, wherein the friction ring of the conical friction ring transmission is moved in the spacing between the two friction rings, and at least one of the main transmission elements is wetted with fluid via a fluid supply. The fluid is conducted in a circuit at a pressure below 100 kPa (1 bar) for wetting purposes.
Abstract: A high-pressure homogenizer including: a fixed body (7) housing a rotating crankshaft (10); a motor (3) for driving the crankshaft (10); a reduction gear unit (4) interconnected between the crankshaft and transmission elements (5, 6), characterized in that the reduction gear unit (4) is an epicyclic reduction gear unit. Preferably there is provided a lubricant feed line (15) which passes through the fixed body and reaches the epicyclic reduction gear unit (4). Preferably the epicyclic reduction gear unit (4) is constructed integrally with the fixed body (4).
Abstract: A motorcycle compensator-sprocket-wheel-hub lubricating system has a lubricant-collection plate (2) (30) attachable to a sprocket-gear housing (1) of a motorcycle for catching lubricant falling from a sprocket-wheel chain (4) and conveying the lubricant to a compensator-sprocket-wheel hub (33) which is provided with enhanced lubrication of rotating-contact and sliding-contact parts with lubricant conveyed from the lubricant-collection plate (2) (30).

Abstract: Liquid dispensing applicators adapted to be mounted to a container of lubricating oil or degreaser and used to lubricate or apply degreaser to a drive chain of a bicycle or motorcycle are disclosed. The applicator housing has an open slot to receive the chain. A wear-resistant and absorbent pad is positioned within the housing to engage the chain. A conduit between the absorbent pad and the container transmits liquid to the absorbent pad such that the chain can be cleaned or lubricated.
Abstract: In a pivoted tensioner lever extending upward from a pivot axis, both ends of boss through which a pivot shaft extends are provided with funnel-shaped grooves that guide oil adhering to the lever body into a region between the shaft and the inside of the boss. Oil guiding walls, continuous with the boss, and downwardly sloping reinforcing ribs with oil passages formed at their lower ends, increase flow of oil adhering to the lever body to the region between the shaft and the inside of the boss.
