Abstract: A drug delivery device comprising a main body extending between distal and proximal ends comprising a hollow cylinder comprising an outer and an inner surface, wherein the inner surface comprises threads; a screw within the main body, comprising a hollow cylinder comprising an inner and an outer surface, wherein said outer surface comprises threads, wherein threads of outer surface of the screw are engaged with threads of inner surface of the main body; a plunger extending between distal and proximal ends, wherein the distal end of the plunger engages the proximal end of the screw; and a drug container extending between distal and proximal ends, and comprising a change in cross section from proximal to distal end, wherein the container is within the screw, and wherein the proximal end of the drug container is fixed to the screw and distal end of the container is fixed to the main body.
Abstract: The dispensing device includes a hollow tube having an open upper end and an open lower end, as well as a horizontal bar disposed between the walls of the hollow tube adjacent to the open lower end. A disc is movably positioned within the hollow tube, the disc having a central aperture defined therein. A string or other flexible member has one end secured to the disc. The other end of the string is drawn downward in the tube, looped around the horizontal bar, then drawn upward through the central aperture in the disc and out the open upper end of the tube. A semi-solid medication is loaded in the tube between the disc and the open lower end of the tube. When the string is pulled out of the upper end of the tube, the disc is drawn downward, dispensing the medication.
Abstract: A grease tool lubricates a valve having an actuator assembly for moving a valve element of the valve. The tool has a housing with a piston carried in a bore. The housing is open for inserting and sealing a portion of the actuator assembly into the bore. A fill port in the housing allows grease to be introduced into the bore. A piston rod joins the piston and has external threads engaging internal threads of the housing, so that rotating the piston rod causes the piston to move axially. A lever is mounted to the housing for imparting rotation to the housing. A lock pin extends through a side wall of the housing to engage the actuator assembly to cause the actuator assembly to rotate in unison with the housing.

Abstract: A description is given of a filling system for the metered delivery of a lubricant, comprising a container for receiving the lubricant, wherein a rod interacts with the container, is mounted movably with respect to it and forces the lubricant out of an outlet opening arranged in the container. The invention also relates to cartridges for use in the filling system. One of the underlying objects of the invention was that of providing a filling system which can be supplemented by simple workshop means and enables the operator to fill up a lubricating system in a vehicle effortlessly within a short time. This object is achieved by a filling system in which the rod is rotatably mounted with respect to the container and turning of the rod in a predetermined direction of rotation brings about a reduction in the storage volume in the container or a handheld device and in which the rod has means for establishing a rotationally fixed connection with an adaptable turning tool.
