Follower Threaded To Rod Patents (Class 184/38.4)
  • Patent number: 12227351
Abstract: An apparatus has a cartridge utilized to contain a volume of construction material. A piston is inserted into the cartridge under operable control by at least one plunger assembly. A forming device is removably mounted to the cartridge opposite to the piston. A loading assembly is engaged to the cartridge to sequentially insert the volume of construction material and the piston into the cartridge. At least one sensor package is oriented towards the cartridge to capture at least one condition datum from the volume of construction material. A unitary controller receives and processes the condition datum to supply control signals to the plunger assembly and the loading assembly based on historical condition data.

  • Patent number: 11408559
Abstract: An automatic lubricator for lubricating an object. The lubricator includes a housing with a coupling section configured to couple with a lubricant container containing a lubricant. The lubricant container includes a rotatable shaft with a piston to dispense the lubricant from an output of the lubricant container. An electric motor is configured to drive the rotatable shaft of the lubricant container during at least one lubrication action, such that at least a part of the lubricant is dispensable from the lubricant container during the at least one lubrication action. At least one sensor is arranged within the housing and configured to provide a sensor signal indicative of a distance between the at least one sensor and the piston of the lubricant container, and a control circuitry configured to determine, based on the sensor signal, at least one lubrication parameter indicative of the at least one lubrication action.

  • Patent number: 7071834
Abstract: A device for monitoring the operating conditions of a rolling bearing, has the rolling bearing including: an outer ring of a metal with outer raceway; an inner ring of a metal with an inner raceway; and a plurality of rolling elements; a first member electrically connected to the outer ring; a second member electrically connected to the inner ring; and a lubricant presented on the area at which the outer raceway and the inner raceway come in contact with the rolling surface of the rolling elements; wherein, the electrical characteristics between the outer ring or first member and the inner ring or second member are monitored in order to monitor the operating conditions of the rolling bearing operating with a lubricant and when the electrical characteristics thus monitored fall outside a predetermined range, the lubricating conditions are judged poor.

  • Patent number: 6601738
Abstract: A lubricant dispenser comprising a housing, a lubricant supply container, a plunger, a telescopic hollow spindle, and an electromechanical servo-drive for changing the length of the telescopic hollow spindle. One end of the telescopic hollow spindle is fixed on the housing. With its other end, the telescopic hollow spindle cooperates with a plunger containing a passage opening for lubricant. The telescopic hollow spindle has a lubricant passage channel in which at least one check valve is arranged on the inlet side. The telescopic hollow spindle alternately carries out setting strokes of different lengths that increase or reduce the length of the spindle. The setting strokes are coordinated with each other so that with a setting stroke of the telescopic hollow spindle increasing the length of the spindle, a preset amount of lubricant displaced by the movement of the plunger enters the lubricant passage channel through the opening check valve.

  • Patent number: 6561316
Abstract: A device for lubricating a rolling bearing. The inventive device comprises a lubricant dispenser (1) connected to the lubricating point of the rolling bearing (7) and a measuring unit (8) allocated to the rolling bearing (7) for detecting the condition of the bearing. The lubricant dispenser (1) comprises a lubricant container with a supply of lubricant (2), a discharge device with an electromotor drive (3) and a control device (4) lined with the measuring device (8). The control device (4) of the lubricant dispenser (1) emits control signals to the electromotor drive (3) at certain intervals prompting it to discharge small amounts of lubricant and changes the discharge times and/or the duration of the discharge intervals if the measuring signal emitted by the measuring unit (8) exceeds a defined value. In this case, a signal for displaying an incipient bearing defect is also emitted.

  • Patent number: 6408985
Abstract: A lubricating apparatus comprising a chamber to receive lubricant, an outlet for lubricant, a movable member to drive lubricant from the chamber through the outlet, and a control circuit for periodically activating the motor to dispense lubricant according to a preset schedule. A motor and drive shaft are attached to the movable member through a transmission. Activating the motor in accordance with operator-selected instructions from a pre-programmed micro-processor moves the transmission to drive the movable member towards the outlet to force lubricant therefrom. The apparatus avoids the disadvantage of the prior art which relies on the generation of gas to provide pressure to force lubricant from the apparatus.
