Abstract: An adjustable lubrication module of a linear guideway includes an end lid disposed at a slider and an oil scraper disposed at the end lid. The end lid has therein two opposing backflow-chambers. A feed-hole disposed between the backflow-chambers and an oil-guiding conduit disposed below the feed-hole are disposed on the end lid. Communication between the feed-hole and the oil-guiding conduit is achieved by a primary oiling-channel. Communications between the oil-guiding conduit and the backflow-chambers are achieved by a secondary oiling-channel. Therefore, oiling-channel adjustment performed on the adjustable lubrication module operating in conjunction with the linear guideway does not entail demounting the end lid from the slider, thereby preventing ball missing. The feed-hole and the oil-guiding conduit are not disposed at the junction of the end lid and the slider; hence, lubrication oil is prevented from flowing over the gap between the end lid and the slider.

Abstract: A lubricant can be evenly applied onto raceway faces or raceway grooves of a rail even when fixed to a horizontal, vertical, tilted, or ceiling surface. One or a plurality of embedding portions (26e) having a recess or a hole is formed in a member body (26) straddling the rail (R). An impregnation holding member (30) holding a lubricant is embedded in the embedding portion. The lubricating member supplies the impregnating lubricant onto the rail raceway faces while making contact with them. Even when the rail is fixed to a horizontal, vertical, tilted or a ceiling surface, the embedding portion of the member body straddling the rail has at least a part maintained in position at a level equal to or higher than the level of at least a part of one of the raceway sections (21a, 21b) of the rail located higher relative to the other raceway section.

Abstract: The present invention is a lubrication system for movable pins connecting pivotable structural members of a deepwater floating oilfield production platform. The lubrication provides adequate lubrication for easing movement of the pins and also for maintaining the long-term functionality of the pins by reducing the corrosion of the pin assemblies. The lubrication of each of the pins is provided by a closed loop circulation system that provides sufficient flow and pressure to establish hydrostatic bearings around the bearing surfaces of the pin-connected members that are being axially assembled and between pin-connected members that are being rotated relative to each other. The lubrication system provides for continuously lubricating a static pinned connection for the purpose of preventing water intrusion and subsequent corrosion. Furthermore, the lubrication system provides a means for ensuring the lubrication of the most highly loaded zones of a laterally loaded pin connection.
