Continuously Flowing Work Patents (Class 19/.58)
  • Patent number: 9637860
Abstract: A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a defibrating unit configured to defibrate a stock material including fibers, a screening unit configured to allow a defibrated material that has been defibrated at the defibrating unit to pass through a plurality of openings, and a forming unit configured to form a sheet by using a passed material that has passed through the openings. The screening unit has a sieve unit having the openings, and a transferring unit that is located below the sieve unit and with which the cross-sectional area of an internal space in a horizontal direction decreases going downward.

  • Patent number: 9498896
Abstract: A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a supply unit configured to supply material including fibers, a defibrating unit configured to defibrate the material in the air, a classifying unit configured to classify defibrated material, which has been defibrated at the defibrating unit, by airflow into fiber material and waste material, a forming unit configured to form a sheet by using the fiber material, and a discharge blower configured to discharge the waste material by airflow from the classifying unit such that the waste material does not move toward a side of the forming unit. When manufacturing by the sheet manufacturing apparatus stops, the supply unit, the defibrating unit, and the discharge blower are configured to stop in a sequence of the supply unit, the defibrating unit, and the discharge blower.
