The arrangement is suitable for hanging at the open top of a bag-like device such as a purse, backpack or briefcase whereby the ornament is displayed at the same time that the keys are readily accessible without undue fishing efforts.

The outer shell has an inner space with a frame. One side of the decorative plate is a patterned surface. Each of the four corners of the decorative plate has a notch, so that the four sides thereof are bent inside the inner space. The decorative plate is restricted within the outer shell. The lining is attached to the decorative plate and disposed in the inner space of the outer shell with the decorative plate, connecting to the frame by the sides. The corner protectors are connected to the four corners of the outer shell.

Abstract: A garment support apparatus for luggage having an extendable handle supported by at least one shaft. The garment support apparatus can include a pair of garment support aims coupled to the shaft and pivotable between an extended position and a retracted position, a resilient member coupled to each garment support arm and adapted to extend the garment support arm and to maintain the garment support arm in the extended position, and a locking member engageable with each garment support arm so as to maintain the garment support arm in the retracted position.

Abstract: A destination analysis module is described which estimates at least one destination of a user given a partial path taken by the user within a geographic area. The destination analysis module operates by detecting a mode of transportation that a user uses to traverse the path (e.g., automobile, public transportation, walking, etc.). The destination analysis module then loads a model associated with the mode of transportation into a destination prediction module and estimates at least one destination based on the path and the model. The model has various components that depend on the mode of transportation, such as routing network information and prior probability information.

Abstract: An integrated connection system combines disparate bags into one wearable unit. The system allows users maximum flexibility concerning capacity and configuration during travel. The system, configured as a backpack, allows users significant freedom of movement. The system can integrate a main backpack, a duffel bag, a laundry bag and a garment bag in a single, wearable system. The system can be used as one complete integrated system or the components can be used separately. The main backpack can be used to store valuables and for specific excursions; the duffel can be used to provide capacity to detach to store a traveler's bulk load in any given secure location; the garment bag can be removed and hung in a closet; and the laundry bag can be detached to carry cloths to be cleaned, for example.

The cord locking mechanism is then used to lock the cord from movement relative to the handle.

Abstract: A tamper evidencing band for encircling an article includes an elongate strip. The band is provided with a loop. The loop is such that attempted opening or removal of the loop will be evidenced by the band. The strip has a portion distal from the loop, which is insertable through the loop. Attachment means is provided to selectively attach the distal portion onto another portion of the strip to encircle the article whereby attempted removal of the attachment will be evidenced by the band. The tamper evidencing band may be provided as a flat strip with the loop unformed. Alternatively, the tamper evidencing band may be provided in kit form with a separate buckle to define the loop.

Abstract: A folding sport luggage including a main luggage case and wheels equipped at the bottom of the case. The main luggage case includes a front portion and a rear portion. The rear portion of the main luggage case has a frame composed of side, back, and bottom panels and coated with a coating. The front portion of the main luggage case has a soft bag case extending from the frame of the main luggage case. The bottom panel can be folded and includes a folding front portion supporting the bottom of the soft bag case and a rear portion supporting the bosom of the frame of the main luggage case. With no items inside, the front portion of the luggage can be folded inwards to greatly reduce the space occupied by the sport luggage. Thus it is convenient to place and transport, with low cost.

The foam strips and leaf spring are bonded to one another, and the combined spring protection system (15) is surrounded by an aesthetic layer of fabric and mounted in the interior of a main packing compartment. Once snugly fitted betwixt the spring protection device, the computer (23) is strapped in and enjoys superior safety from impact forces, including impacts felt on the corner of the carrying case. The foam is of EVA construction and the leaf spring comprises polypropylene or ABS. A unique and aesthetically pleasing outer pocket with a curving zippered access (29) holds valuables, and a sleeve pocket on the outer front face of the case provides easy access to computer peripherals and such.

Abstract: A beverage holder for use with luggage having a pair of upwardly extending spaced-apart rails with a handle extending therebetween includes a beverage support member, a pair of spaced-apart elongated arms, and a pair of clips. The beverage support member has an open top and a bottom with an outer wall extending therebetween. The beverage support member is configured to receive a beverage container through the open top and hold the received beverage container. The arms extend upwardly away from the open top. A proximal end of each arm attached to the beverage support member. Each clip is at a distal end of each respective arm. The clips are configured to removably attach to the luggage handle. When attached, the clips are pivotable about the handle to maintain the beverage container in a substantially level position regardless of whether the luggage is in a tilted or a non-tilted position.

Abstract: The invention relates generally to bags and cases for storage of cameras or other objects. More specifically, the system integrates a waterproof dry bag component optimized for storage of cameras and camera accessories, with a bag component of substantially the same size and shape of the dry bag into a single unit. When separated, the two components can perform as individual units.

Abstract: Beverage holders adapted to attach to the upwardly extending arms of the handle assembly of a wheeled piece of luggage are described herein. The holders are adapted to twist and pivot when holding a cup with a beverage contained therein to maintain the axis of the beverage cup in a position generally orthogonal with a flat ground surface. The mechanism permitting the pivoting typically comprises a pair of opposing suspension arms that are fabricated of an elastomeric polymer that has sufficient tensile strength to support a beverage cup filled with a beverage but also has a sufficiently low flexural modulus to permit the cup to pivot when the angle of the handle assembly relative to the ground is changed.

Abstract: A piece of luggage, such as a suitcase, is constructed with one or more compartments of predesigned location and purpose to facilitate security inspection. Compartments may be designated to hold objects that, if obscured by other objects, carry an undesirably high likelihood of generating a false alarm because obscuring objects prevent an accurate assessment of the nature of those objects. For this reason, a compartment may be designated for liquids, gels and/or aerosols. A compartment may also be designated for objects, such as metal objects, which carry a risk of generating a false alarm if packed in a suitcase in a way that they obscure other objects and prevent an accurate determination of whether those objects are threat objects. Such compartments are positioned to ensure that the items they contain are segregated during x-ray inspection so as to neither obscure or be obscured by other objects packed in the luggage.

Abstract: A dual strap securing mechanism that secures two items to one another for transport. A first embodiment uses a two-part flexible strap that secures two luggage items together. The two-part flexible strap can be used to secure luggage together, or to secure a person to a shopping cart. An alternative embodiment uses a locking mechanism that attaches to a rigid support bar, or flexible support strap, on a secondary luggage item. The locking mechanism tightly secures the secondary luggage item to the extension handle on the primary luggage items such that it is prevented from sliding laterally and falling off the primary luggage item. The locking mechanism is implemented as a rigid bar assembly that secures to a rigid support bar on the secondary luggage item, or to a flexible support strap on the secondary luggage item. In an alternative preferred embodiment, the locking mechanism is implemented as a rigid bracket assembly that is secured to a flexible support strap while the secondary luggage item.

Abstract: A luggage identification system and method is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the luggage identification system includes a luggage bag with an aperture disposed on a front panel. A sleeve is secured over the aperture using stitching or adhesive to provide a durable connection between the sleeve and the luggage material and provide structural support to the front panel of the luggage. A customized identification sheet is adapted to slide within the sleeve through a top opening that is formed between a front and rear side of the sleeve. A top flap or zipper is used to access the top of the opening and to secure the identification sheet within the sleeve. The identification sheet may be customizable to each particular traveler. The sleeve includes a front side that is comprised of a clear durable material so that the identification sheet is viewable from the outside of the luggage.

Abstract: An enhanced structure for the base with roller and belt of hardshell zipper case is provided, including a hardshell zipper case main body, a plurality of hidden roller units, a retractable belt unit, and an auxiliary wheel set. The hidden roller units and the retractable belt unit are placed inside the roller housing trench and the belt housing trench located at the bottom of the hardshell zipper case main body. When the hidden roller units are not in use, the roller units are entirely hidden inside the roller housing trench so that the roller unit will not be damaged due to careless handling. To move the hardshell zipper case, the outer rim of the roller units are exposed outside of the surface of the roller housing trench so that the roller units can roll along when moved. The belt of retractable belt unit can be easily pulled out from one end of the bottom of the hardshell zipper case.

Abstract: A disposable strip of non-elastic, tear resistant luggage wrap material is provided that extends around the outer periphery of a piece of luggage and adhesively secures to itself. A plurality of disposable strips may be coupled end-to-end to accommodate large luggage pieces. The disposable strip may be removed by tearing along a plurality of spaced, inline apertures. The disposable strip includes several features, such as indicia that identify luggage as belonging to a group, organization or commercial carrier. The disposable strip also may include a security portion having an area for receiving the user's signature or initials to inhibit unauthorized tampering. A pocket may be provided on the disposable strip to receive user identification, a travel itinerary or other document. Furthermore, the disposable strip may be configured to receive an R.F.I.D. tag for electronic tracking.

Abstract: Carriers for flat objects such as sheet music are described which supplement the capacity of musical instrument cases having at least one handle. An adjustable hanger strap or straps are provided so that the carrier can be used on cases having different sizes, shapes and thicknesses. The case handle fits through one of a plurality of elongated slots on the hangar strap of the carrier with the carrier positioned against the case. The particular slot used depends on the shape and size of the case. The carrier has one or more compartments for storing articles placed therein, with the carrier draping over one of the sides while being transported about as a single unit by virtue of the case carry handle. Loops engaging the strap are also provided to provide stability.

In one embodiment, the invention includes an elongate member; a first loop member located at a first end of the elongate member; and a second loop member located at a second end of the elongate member, wherein the first loop member is adapted for non-fixed attachment to a rigid, elongated handle of an article of luggage and the second loop member is adapted for non-fixed attachment to a handle of the article of luggage, such that when the first loop member is attached to the rigid, elongated handle and the second loop member is attached to the handle, the elongate member is operable to constrain an object against the article of luggage and the rigid, elongated handle.

Abstract: An auxiliary storage accessory for use with shoulder bags releasably attaches to the attachment points of the shoulder strap on the shoulder bag with elastic straps in order to be usable with a variety of shoulder bags. The storage accessory is typically an auxiliary bag. The storage accessory is removable and can include a storage compartment and/or item holders such as pockets, straps, clips, hooks, loops, and combinations thereof.

Abstract: A wheeled suitcase has dual extractable handle assemblies. The first extractable handle assembly is positioned immediately adjacent to the rear side of wheeled suitcase for pulling and wheeling the wheeled suitcase in inclined position. The second extractable handle assembly is positioned immediately adjacent to the bottom side of wheeled suitcase for loading an add-on traveling case.

Abstract: A strap comprises an elongated flexible member and two connectors. The elongated flexible member and two connectors form two loops: a first loop that loops around a wheeled (e.g., carry-on) luggage and a second loop that loops around an item that is separate from the wheeled luggage. The second loop, in conjunction with two inter-loop connectors, secures the item to the wheeled luggage. The item may be placed on top of the wheeled luggage to provide for a more comfortable and relaxed transport of the item with the wheeled luggage.

Abstract: A bag type portable screen device is disclosed. A screen is coupled with a rotary rod with ½ to ? the size of a conventional screen to complete a screen case. The screen case is coupled with one of upper and lower sides of a bag, and has rings to fix the screen, when the rotary rod rotates to open and use the screen. The screen is released from the rings to carry. The screen may be a fixed type reflective screen whose end is fixed to the bag. Since the bag accommodates a laptop computer, and a projector, the bag type portable screen is convenient to carry, install, and use.

Abstract: A flight caddy travel case consists of a travel case and airplane backseat organizer made of flexible material having a rectangular shape and folding in the center, closing securely with zipper(s), snaps, hook and loop or other fastener. The flight caddy travel case, referred to as case throughout this document has a strap secured in the center of the case so that it can loop over the fastener of an airplane tray table. When the case is opened, the bottom portion of the case may be tucked inside the seat pocket of the airplane seat in front of the passenger. The interior of the case consists of various pockets for devices used during flight, such as reading material, music devices, toiletry articles and other items needed during a flight.

Abstract: A connector with a flexible arrangement for attaching one or more small or mid-sized bags is described. The connector provides a shoulder strap or handle that allows the user to conveniently carry the assemblage. The connector may include slotted top and bottom rails vertically displaced from each other, where mounting tabs on the small bags may be threaded through the slots to attach a bag to the connector. Slotted sheets of material may be placed between a top and bottom rail, or the entire connector may be made of one or more sheets of fabric or other flexible material. Again the mounting tabs may be threaded through the slots to secure the bags. The vertical edges of the sheets may be folded and sewn of bonded to better form supports for the connector, and combinations of rails, vertical supports and sheets of fabric of other such materials may be used.

Abstract: A backpack assembly includes a luggage case having a first attachment interface and a backpack having a second attachment interface. The second attachment interface is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface to removably attach the backpack to the luggage case. The luggage case further includes a flap with a third attachment interface that is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface if the backpack is detached from the luggage case.

The novelty device comprises an axial, elongate torso-like structure comprising a series of fabric panels. Deep to the panels is certain fill material for providing elastically compressive bulk to the novelty device. Ventro-laterally extending linking panels extend from the ventral medial axis of the torso-like structure, the terminal ends of which comprise cooperable or matable fasteners. When the linking panel terminal ends are selectively fastened to one another via the fasteners after having been wrapped around an axial luggage handle or similar other luggage appendage, the linking panels function to attach the torso-like structure to the piece of luggage. Once attached to the luggage, the novelty device readily identifies the luggage. Certain methods for the manufacture of the novelty device are further disclosed.

Abstract: A multi-function travel case includes a plurality of features for facilitating ease of travel, including a retractable document sleeve for storing important travel-related documents in a manner that allows for quick, secure and easy access, viewing and storage of same during travel. The travel case further includes a retractable bottle holder extendable from a side pocket thereof, a side storage compartment adapted for storing eyeglasses in a manner that prevents scratching of same, a front interior storage compartment that houses a retractable light source, a key holder, and integrated pockets adapted for the storage of optical media without scratching the same, a central interior storage compartment having an adjustable top restraint and first and second user-positionable, impact resistant, adjustable cushions for securing portable computer devices of different sizes, a rear interior storage compartment having a removable file folder housed therein, ergonomically-designed rubber handles, and anti-tip feet.
