The apparatus further includes a pair of carrying straps configurable into either a backpack harness or a handbag strap and is also provided with a table cloth which may be unrolled therefrom for subsequent use.

    Abstract: A beach accessory includes a carrying case having a plurality of storage compartments, a flexible mat stored within one of the storage compartments and extendable through a side of the carrying case, and a cushion pivotally attached to the carrying case. The cushion is connected to the carrying case by a pair of hinges to be rotatable between a first position wherein the cushion lies atop an upper surface of the carrying case, and a second position wherein the cushion rests, at least partially, on or adjacent to a ground surface. In the first position the cushion provides a cover for the storage compartments and a seat for a user of the beach accessory. In the second position a cushion provides a pillow for a person lying upon the mat after it has been extended from the carrying case. The carrying case is configured to provide a portable table when inverted, and includes an alarm clock, a radio receiver and a cassette tape player.

    Abstract: An elongate box with hinged cover is described particularly designed for canoe camping and travel. The box panels are reinforced at adjoining edges by square section posts defining flat spaces for receiving insulation panels flush with the respective box panels. A table panel for table use is secured to the undersurface of the box cover for storage during canoe travel. During table use, the table panel is secured by brackets to the side of the box. A multi-use coupling is formed adjacent one edge of the table panel for securing the table panel to the undersurface of the box cover and for coupling the top of a support leg to the table panel for weight bearing table use. Flexible loop handles are provided on the end of the box with quick disconnect couplings such as snap hooks for securing the handle loops over a thwart or other strut of a canoe during canoe travel. The box cover latch is also designed for quick release using a flexible thong for rapid access to the box during canoe travel.

A fishing pole holder is mounted on the upper surface of the cabinet, and is attached thereto with a screwcap fastening. A fishing pole rack and towel bar are mounted on the side of the cabinet. The bucket is adapted to receive a creel for carrying fish.
