Abstract: A portable dining ware cabinet having a front opening for gaining access to the interior of the cabinet. Inside the cabinet is a dishware compartment designed for storing dishes in spaced, non-contacting relation, a glassware compartment for storing glasses in spaced, non-contacting relation and a plurality of additional storage compartments for storing additional items. The cabinet has a door at the front opening, and when the door is closed, the items stored within the cabinet are substantially immobilized and inaccessible.
Abstract: To permit combination luggage, table and vanity to have a luggage position, a table position and a vanity position, the combination includes a handle mounted to one of a back side, right side and left side for carrying said combination luggage, table and vanity when in the luggage position. A hinge pivotally connects a rear edge of a top wall to a top edge of the back wall wherein the top wall may lie horizontal when said combination is in the table position and extends vertically when in the vanity position. A hinge pivotally connects a bottom edge of said back wall to a rear edge of said bottom wall and a hinge pivotally connects a front edge of the bottom wall to a bottom edge of said front wall wherein said bottom wall and said front wall are closable in the luggage position but openable to expose a compartment under said bottom wall, whereby a stand and stand legs may be stored in the compartment and to expose drawers in the front which may be used in the vanity position.
Abstract: A portable table preferably composed of a pair of containers which cooperate in face to face relationship to form a composite table surface and further serve as a support to the pole portion of a beach umbrella.
Abstract: An improved compact portable storage unit. The unit includes an articulated work stand which can be disassembled and stored in the doors of the unit. The doors of the unit are slidably removable and are used to form work stations and shelving on the articulated support stand.
Abstract: An elongate box with hinged cover is described particularly designed for canoe camping and travel. The box panels are reinforced at adjoining edges by square section posts defining flat spaces for receiving insulation panels flush with the respective box panels. A table panel for table use is secured to the undersurface of the box cover for storage during canoe travel. During table use, the table panel is secured by brackets to the side of the box. A multi-use coupling is formed adjacent one edge of the table panel for securing the table panel to the undersurface of the box cover and for coupling the top of a support leg to the table panel for weight bearing table use. Flexible loop handles are provided on the end of the box with quick disconnect couplings such as snap hooks for securing the handle loops over a thwart or other strut of a canoe during canoe travel. The box cover latch is also designed for quick release using a flexible thong for rapid access to the box during canoe travel.
Abstract: This invention relates to a compact, portable camping box designed to hold the necessary equipment for the preparation and serving of meals and which is readily convertible at the site of use to provide a table or work surface. It consists basically of an open-sided box having top, bottom, and end members and includes interhinged leaves attached to the sides of the box so that when folded upwardly the leaves serve as side members for the box in addition to providing an enclosed storage space for the component parts of a three-legged tubular support frame.
Abstract: A collapsable table having first and second table bodies hinged together along an upper edge thereof. Leg members are pivotably connected to opposite side walls of the first body so that the legs may support both bodies, one closed upon the other, when the table is open, and may also be folded through slots in the sidewalls into the first table body when the table is not in use. When the table is open, the legs are secured by fasteners which extend through the respective legs into the sidewalls of the second table body. Fasteners on the sidewalls hold the table bodies in the closed position.
Abstract: Improved combination lid and handle assembly for a picnic cooler having hinged, double-door lid sections, each of which cooperatingly engage a handle assembly in the raised position to support the inner surface of the lid sections in a horizontal position. This provides a table surface for the users. The handle sections have cooler side wall stops and recesses in the lid to retain the lid in the proper position preventing disengagement and spilling of objects placed on the inner table surfaces of the lid. The lid may also have recessed portions on the inner surface to receivingly retain glasses or other objects.
Abstract: A storage-stand having a deck and a pair of legs pivotally attached to opposite ends of the deck and movable between folded positions inwardly of the ends of the deck and parallel to the deck and extended positions at an obtuse angle to the deck. When the legs are extended they spread obtusely outward from the deck. The legs and the deck are hollow and have means within them for retaining tools for storage.
