Latch Operated Patents (Class 192/22)
  • Publication number: 20140238807
Abstract: A clutch switching device for electric rolling doors contains: a housing, a rotating plate, and a shifting bar. The rotating plate is provided in the housing for connecting with the clutch pulling cord. The shifting bar is coupled with the rotating plate and is pulled to drive the rotating plate to move toward a manual mode position or an automatic mode position. The rotating plate has a wrenching portion for matching with a wrench tool so as to wrench the rotating plate. The housing includes a movable fixing element, the rotating plate has a first positioning aperture and a second positioning aperture, such that when the rotating plate is located at a manual mode position, the first positioning aperture aligns and retains with the movable fixing element; when the rotating plate is located at the automatic mode position, the second positioning aperture aligns and retains with the movable fixing element.

  • Patent number: 8230987
Abstract: A fluid diverter comprising: a fluid diverting structure having a top, fluid striking surface having side and rear walls and a forward mouth, the side and rear walls preventing fluid from spilling over edges of the surface as such fluid exits through the mouth; and a magnet assembly mounted to a bottom surface of the fluid diverting structure. The magnet assembly, comprises: a magnet, and a pivot structure affixed to the magnet and pivotally mounted to the bottom surface of the fluid diverting structure for pivoting the magnet assembly relative to the fluid diverting structure about an axis to pitch the fluid diverting structure to a desired pitch angle and then once at such desired pitch angle, locking the fluid diverting structure at such desired pitch angle.

  • Patent number: 7644890
Abstract: A low-energy locking hinge mechanism operable with a spacecraft to support a deployable device, and to facilitate the deployment and locking of the deployable device, the hinge mechanism comprising: (a) a support base configured to couple to a structure of the spacecraft; (b) means for securing a deployable device to the support base, the deployable device being configured to rotate about a pivot axis; (c) a one-way clutch supported about the support base and operable with the means for securing, the one-way clutch being configured to facilitate one-way rotation of the deployable device from a stowed position to a deployed position, and to lock the deployable device in the deployed position, the one-way clutch having an inherent actuatable locking function configured to prevent backward motion; and (d) an actuation member operable with the one-way clutch to deploy the deployable device from the stowed position to the deployed position, the actuation member comprising an actuation energy sufficient to actuate

  • Patent number: 6691844
Abstract: A drive assembly, especially for agricultural implements with rotatingly driven masses, has a shear pin coupling (1) with a coupling hub (3) and a coupling sleeve (12) rotatable relative to the coupling hub (3). A ratchet gear (20) supported on the coupling hub (3) and rotatable relative to the coupling hub (3) and the coupling sleeve (12). All three components (3, 12, 20) are connected to one another by the head screw (26) constituting the shear pin. A ratchet (not illustrated) may engage a holding face of the ratchet gear (20). This results in the head screw (26) being sheared. As a result, the coupling sleeve (12) is disconnected from the coupling hub (3) in respect of drive.

  • Patent number: 5261515
Abstract: A mechanical disconnect for the pedal operating rod of an attaching machine comprises a stationary trip slide having a downwardly inclined cam surface and a housing enclosing the trip slide and reciprocable thereon. The housing is connected to the clutch operating rod. The housing also includes a transverse trip spacer pin and a latch having a follower nose engaging the cam and a central L-shaped opening receiving the pin in the horizontal leg of the opening. A spring urges the latch toward the slide. When the pedal is depressed, the latch pulls down the housing so that the clutch activating pull down rod moves away from the clutch dog. Further downward movement of the pedal cams the latch away from the slide so that the spacer pin aligns with the vertical leg of the "L" permitting the housing to pop up and the pull down rod to engage a clutch dog.

  • Patent number: 4191283
Abstract: The control collar of a helical spring clutch is defined in part by a series of rings having radially projecting stop lugs which coact with an interposer. The rings may be adjusted angularly relative to one another to cause the lugs to effect successive disengagements of the clutch as the output member of the clutch is rotated through a selectively adjustable number of steps of selectively adjustable angular length.

  • Patent number: 4154406
Abstract: A forage wagon or the like having components driven by a power take-off shaft and including apparatus for selectively disengaging the power take-off shaft and the driven parts. The disengaging apparatus includes a safety clutch having a circular drive clutch plate supported on a drive shaft of a power take-off shaft for rotation with the drive shaft and a driven circular clutch plate freely rotatably supported on the drive shaft. The driven clutch plate functions to drive the various driven parts of the forage wagon. In the normal operating condition, a drive pin, aligned parallel to the axis of the drive shaft, is received through bores in both the drive plate and the driven plate such that the driven plate rotates with the drive plate.
