Abstract: A device for controlling a clutch is disclosed wherein a hydraulic cylinder controlling engagement and release of the clutch is supplied with pressurized fluid by a hydraulic circuit along which are provided a supply pump and a tracking valve. The tracking valve has a body and a shutter movable inside the body by means of a control member connected to a mechanical transmission for selectively operating the shutter of the valve.
Abstract: A clutch tension regulator between a distal end of a clutch cable from a clutch pedal in a motor vehicle and a clutch lever having an aperture which operates a clutch mechanism within a transmission housing. The clutch tension regulator comprises a tautness member connected in an adjustable manner into the aperture of the clutch lever. A flexible member passes over the tautness member. A unit is provided for securing a first end of the flexible member in a stationary manner onto the transmission housing. An assembly is provided for coupling a second end of the flexible member to the distal end of the clutch cable. The tautness member can be manually adjusted to increase and decrease tension on the clutch cable, to make the clutch mechanism easier to operate.
Abstract: The invention relates to a release system in which a release bearing is prefitted in a release fork in order to ensure mutual fixing together with the gear during transport.
Abstract: A clutch booster control system having parallel booster cylinder and a control valve, the booster cylinder having an extendible rod and being operatively connected between the vehicle frame and the clutch operating lever, the control valve having a slidable piston and being connected between the clutch operating lever and the pedal linkage. Movement of the clutch pedal moves the control valve piston to provide air to the booster cylinder for operating the clutch operating lever.
Abstract: The pedal carrier is so arranged as to permit mounting it and dismantling it in an easy manner with no use of a tool. For this purpose, each end of the pin (7) carrying the pedals is engaged in a sleeve (10,11) including a generally circular-shaped bearing surface (12) with two parallel flat portions, each bearing surface cooperating with the inner contour of an aperture (15) which has the same diameter and is provided in the side wall and communicates with the edge of this wall through a passage whose width is slightly greater than the distance between the flat portions, means being provided for immobilizing the assembly formed by the pin (7) and the sleeves (10,11) relative to the side walls (5, 6).
Abstract: A control device for a clutch and a transmission in a vehicle comprising a single control lever has a substantially single control lever angularly movable about at least one shaft for actuating the clutch and the transmission, a first link mechanism for transmitting angular movement of the control lever to the release lever of the clutch, a second link mechanism for transmitting angular movement of the control lever to the shifter of the transmission, and a damper for imposing a dampening force on the connection operation of the clutch. The damper has a damper stroke varying mechanism operatively cooperating with the second link mechanism for rendering the damper stroke of the damper shorter as higher-speed gears of the transmission are selected by the control lever.
Abstract: A snow plow including an automotive car body equipped with an engine, a transmission and a clutch means; an operation-frame attached to the rear upper portion of said car body; a clutch operation means attached to said operation frame, said clutch operation means being designed to operate for disengaging said clutch means; and a snow plow apparatus mounted on the car body, wherein said operation frame is provided with an upper guard frame having a substantially same width as the car body with freedom of oscillation; the car body is provided, under said upper guard frame, with a lower guard frame having a substantially same width as the car body with freedom of oscillation; said both guard frames are connected by means of a first connecting means; and any one of both guard frames is connected with the clutch operation means by means of a second connecting means so that when an impact is applied on either guard frame the clutch operation means is designed to operate for disengaging the clutch means.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for releasing a clutch through clutch cables in an automobile having an engine which is connected to a clutch housing containing a clutch release fork and a clutch pedal. The clutch cables comprise an outer cable which is located forwardly of an exhaust pipe of the engine and an inner cable which extends longitudinally through the outer cable. The outer cable is secured to the body of the automobile and to the engine at one end and at the other end respectively, while the inner cable is connected to the clutch pedal and to the clutch release fork at one end outwardly extending from the one end of the outer cable and at the other end outwardly extending from the other end of the outer cable respectively. By virtue of this construction, the outer cable is protected from the high temperature of the exhaust pipe, and there is no relative displacement between the other end of the outer cable and the inner cable when the clutch is not worked.
Abstract: Control means for a change over valve on hydraulic clutches having a lever system whereby the shift lever is rotatably connected to the fulcrum of the control lever with a toggle spring connecting both levers.
Abstract: Control means for hydraulic clutches having a lever system whereby a toggle spring is connected between two levers mounted on the center of spool of a change over valve.
