  • Patent number: 5163545
Abstract: An auxilliary conveying apparatus for receiving and conveying mined ore from the discharge bridge or a mobile articulated conveyor. The apparatus includes an endless belt conveyor that is disposed at an angle between first and second stationary conveyors that intersect at right angles to one another. A first portion of the endless belt conveyor extends under a portion of the first, upstream stationary conveyor while a second portion of the endless belt conveyor extends over a portion of the second, downstream stationary conveyor. Guide rails are provided to guide the discharge bridge in a predetermined curvilinear path over the endless belt conveyor to enable the discharge bridge to deposit material thereupon. Other guide rails or tracks are supplied to guide the mobile articulated conveyor discharge in a predetermined path that is adjacent to the first and second conveyors and endless belt conveyor that is suited to its inherent turning radius.

  • Patent number: 5156256
Abstract: An auxiliary conveying apparatus for supporting and guiding a mobile articulated conveyor between discrete elevated roadways located on first and second intersecting stationary conveyors. The apparatus includes two portable arcuate conveyor troughs that are arranged between the first and second conveyors at their point of intersection. Each conveyor section has an endless chain therein that is adapted to be driven in an orbit by a separate drive motor. Pad members are transversely attached to the endless chain and are adapted to contact and advance the mined ore from one end of the trough to the other as the endless chain is driven in an orbit. Corresponding arcuate track members are provided to interface with the support tracks located on the intersecting stationary conveyors and to guide the mobile articulated conveyor in an arcuate path above the arcuate conveyor troughs.

  • Patent number: RE29110
Abstract: Conveying means is mounted on an extensible boom of a wheeled vehicle in such manner that one end of the conveyor system is adapted to receive materials such as concrete or the like from a delivery truck and the other end is adapted to discharge the materials, as through a tremie, into a wall form or the like. The arrangement is such that the boom of the wheeled vehicle can be extended and retracted, inclined and swung from side to side during a continuous materials delivery operation so that the tremie can follow the outline of the wall form for evenly distributing the materials therein. The extension, elevation and wing of the boom can be effected by the operator without interrupting the flow of materials, and the form filling job can therefore be completed in a minimum of time.
