Articles (38) fed from the main conveying line onto the cross conveyor can be sorted to the left or the right by the conveyor belt. Articles destined for sorting downstream pass over the stopped roller-top conveyor belt atop the freely rotatable belt rollers and back onto the main conveyor line. A booster (40), such as a motorized roller (40), between the main conveyor line and the cross conveyor applies a force in the main conveying direction against articles destined to cross the cross conveyor.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a motor-operated conveyer roller for conveyor systems, having a roller body, a drive device arranged inside an interior space of the roller body, and a coupling device designed to transmit a torque from the drive device to an inner peripheral surface of the interior space of the roller body, wherein said coupling device has a clamping bushing, a clamping ring which can move axially with respect to the clamping bushing, a fastener element for the purpose of holding a clamping ring in a tensioned position against the clamping bushing, and a thrust collar which is fixed between a contact surface of the clamping bushing and a contact surface of the clamping ring in the tensioned position, wherein the thrust collar is frictionally connected via its outer periphery to the inner peripheral surface of the interior space of the roller body in the tensioned position.

Thus, an adhesive force of the double-sided tape sandwiched between the circumferential wall and the roller tube is exerted to adhere the outer surface of the first member to an inner surface of a roller tube.
