Abstract: The protective glove according to the invention is characterized in that it includes at least one resilient member (17) integral with the chain mail fabric, arranged to draw the chain mail fabric of at least one of the glove fingers (16) in the direction or substantially in the direction of the longitudinal axis thereof and toward the wrist portion (12). Preferably, the resilient member or members (17) are disposed on the portion (11) intended to cover the hand. These resilient member or members (17), preferably in the form of a flat spring, of pin type, enable the chain mail to fit at best the fingers of the hand and enable in particular to limit, or even eliminate, the presence of an excess of chain mail at the end of the glove user fingers.

The strap portion extends from a proximal end portion of the glove, and has a length sufficient to allow the strap to be looped around the thumb, to provide dorsal-radial tension on the thumb near the distal end of the first metacarpal in order to reduce lateral subluxation at the first carpometacarpal joint. An attachment element is also provided for securing a distal end of the strap portion to a mutually engaging attachment element secured to the glove body.

Abstract: A pair of interlocking batting gloves which may be worn by a batter during practice and during play to improve the batter's grip on the bat. A first of the two gloves in which each glove has a disc magnet attached to the outer peripheral edge of the index finger and a second of the two gloves has a polar opposite magnet attached to the outer peripheral edge of the little finger. The magnets thus positioned connect and lock together providing the proper grip for the batter, aligning the middle knuckles of the left and right hands. The attractive magnetic force will connect the gloves when the magnets overlap their magnetic fields, thus eliminating the need for the batter to have previous knowledge of how to grip the bat correctly. The magnetic connection draws the left and right hand together aligning the middle knuckles of the left and right hand forming proper grip for swinging a bat.

Abstract: This invention comprises of one-time single-use gloves made from latex or vinyl that have a built in pocket space on the outside surface (the term “outside surface” refers to the surface of the glove that is distal from the body of the wearer) of the glove in palm and fingers areas that have tiny surface holes on the outside surface of the pocket to allow dispensing of solution that is sealed under a plastic pull back tab. Once the tab is pulled back, the solution can be forced out of the pocket's tiny holes located on the outside surface of the pocket, by squeezing the hands gently for small amounts or firmly to allow larger amounts of solution. These gloves can be produced to be sterile or non-sterile, depending on the need of the product. The purpose of these gloves are to provide a one time use solution to administering topical solutions, medication and shampoos to human and animal patients, providing a sterile approach when necessary, provide a barrier to disease between the caregiver and patient.

Abstract: A glove that can be used as a conventional glove, or, alternatively, if the glove is to be used for special purposes, can be modified to include shaped articles comprising yieldably deformable, shaped-inserts of different configuration constructed from foamed cushion material having a memory. These shaped articles can be selectively inserted into strategically located, internal pockets formed internally and externally of the glove. When the shaped-inserts are in position within the pockets of the glove, they provide protection to the hand, provide superior tactile perception and also tend to substantially replicate the surface features exhibited by the device being gripped by the user.
