Abstract: A hat includes a main part which includes a visor, a peripheral portion and multiple panels formed thereto. The panels extend from the peripheral portion. A protrusion protrudes from the visor and contacts the outside of the peripheral portion. Multiple first holes are respectively defined through each of two lateral sides of each panel, the bottom side of the peripheral portion and the inner side of the visor. Multiple ropes extend through the first holes to connect the panels, the peripheral portion and the visor to form the hat.

Abstract: A threaded shaft extends from a base which has an inner and outer surface. A disc with an inner and outer surface is comprised of a resilient and slip-resistant material, such as emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber (E-SBR). The disc has a non-threaded opening which is slidably received by the threaded shaft, allowing the disc to slide toward or away from the base inner surface. A washer has a non-threaded opening that allows it to be slidably received by the threaded shaft, allowing the washer to move with the disc outer surface. A fastener, with a threaded opening, mates with the threaded shaft and reversibly tightens the disc toward the base inner surface. A section of tarp or other sheet material can be securely held between the base and the disc.

Abstract: A headband includes a length of fabric material and, attached to its inside surface, a strip of polymeric closed-cell foam material to engage the forehead or hairline of a wearer. The polymeric material has a tread pattern to resist slippage on the forehead, even under heavy perspiration.

Abstract: The invention is directed at to a pest entrapment device for attracting and trapping flying pests around the head of a person. The apparatus includes an attachable device having at least one member, which member contains at least one cavity to hold a pest attractant. The attachable device is affixed to a head covering on the underside of a bill, brim, visor or the like. The pest attractant can be of a combination of grease, carbon dioxide, sweetener, and a sticky, viscid matter. The pest attractant also acts as a trapping substance to capture the flying insects. The pest entrapment device can be removed for cleaning and reapplication of the pest attractant.

Abstract: A novelty apparel includes multiple attached conformable, selectable and viewable occupational role playing indicia. A baseball cap includes a dome shaped crown of compound curves and a forward facing sun visor brim portion, a display region in a central front face portion of the dome shaped crown, where the display region displays a first permanent occupational status identifier and a mounting region for a secondary occupational status identifier selectable from a number of different indicia carried on a display surface conformable to said dome shaped crown. The selected indicium is displayed centered above the brim. The display surface conforms to the curved exterior of the dome shaped crown, wherein the baseball cap does not deviate substantially from the look of a typical baseball cap with a single permanent indicium.

The first flexible panel has a first outer surface and a first inner surface opposite to the first outer surface. The pockets are defined between the first inner surface and the second outer surface. The pockets are at least partially isolated from one another. The magnets are each respectively positioned in one of the plurality of pockets. The plate is spaced from the first outer surface. Abstract: A safety hat for use by construction workers is disclosed. The safety hat is fabricated from a hard plastic type material or other equivalent impact resistant materials. The safety hat is in the general shape of existing baseball type caps. The safety hat has a hollow brim portion to receive the brim of the typical soft baseball cap and thereby secure the safety hat to the baseball cap so that the safety hat fits securely and comfortably on the user's head.

A linear fourth attachment is located on the second surface in the first quadrant. A first sunglasses holding component has a strip located on the second surface in the first quadrant. A second sunglasses holding component has a strip located on the second surface in the third quadrant. The sunglasses holding components are attached on a first end and a second end with an open middle for allowing sunglasses legs to pass through.

Abstract: A fitting system for a hat includes a band configured to be coupled to the hat; and a resilient member disposed within at least a portion of the band. The resilient member includes a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion between the first and second ends. A crown extension and a crown extension bottom edge extend downwardly below a circumferential bottom edge of the hat wherein the resilient member is only positioned within a front band portion, a first side band portion, a second side band portion, and the crown extension. The first side band portion and the second side band portion are adapted to attach to the crown to form side gaps. Each of the side gaps are designed to receive the top portion of the user's ear so that the hat is designed to sit lower on the user's head without impinging upon the user's ears while the hat is being worn. A system and method are provided.

Abstract: Described is head apparel for restraining the head of a wearer. The head apparel includes headwear having an outer surface and an opening that exposes an interior surface configured to receive the head of the wearer. The headwear also includes a restraining device attached to the outer surface of the headwear. The restraining device has a first state in which a length of the restraining device extends from the headwear and is configured to engage a stationary object to restrain the head against the stationary object. The restraining device has a second state in which the length of the restraining device is substantially secured to the headwear.

The crown includes a front having a first height; a rear having a second height wherein the second height is greater than the first height; an interior including a forward portion; an exterior including a rearward portion; and a circumferential bottom edge separating the interior and exterior. The band is coupled to the interior of the crown. The resilient member includes a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion between the first and second ends, wherein the first end extends through the exterior rearward portion of the crown, and wherein the second end extends through the exterior rearward portion of the crown, and wherein the intermediate portion is positioned between the band and the interior of the crown.

Abstract: A visor protector for caps having a visor including a periphery having a front edge, a pair of lateral edges, and upper and lower sides. The visor protector includes a flexible body having an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion of the flexible body meets the lower portion of the flexible body at a leading edge of the flexible body. The upper portion of the flexible body is receivable on the upper side of the visor, and the lower portion of the flexible body is receivable on the lower side of the visor. The upper and lower portions of the flexible body cooperate to define a substantial U-shape, wherein the visor is receivable between the upper and lower portions such that the leading edge of the flexible body is substantially aligned with the front edge of the visor. The visor protector includes a pair of spring clips that each have a first leg that is engageable with the upper portion of the flexible body and a second leg that is engageable with the lower portion of the flexible body.

The band extends upwardly from the bottom edge of the head cover and above the bill. The raised portion is adjustable to adjust a length of the loop portion to frictionally engage the head cover. At least one decorative item is insertable through the raised section.

A second position has the bandana extending downwardly from the head protective device and the bandana has the free ends tied behind the head for the purpose of securing the head protective device against accidental removal.

Abstract: The crown portion of a simplified and stable hat construction has a lower periphery, an outside and an inside; a horizontally oriented brim; and a headband disposed radially inwardly from the crown's inside. A sliding assembly between the crown's inside and the headband has a first member secured to the crown's inside and a second member slidably attached to the first member and comprising an extension secured to the brim. Thus a user may rotate the brim relative to the crown. The crown may be formed of a sheet of material having a main body portion and including an integral fold on the flap or hem folded inwardly to form a finished edge along its lower periphery. This fold is securely attached to the main body portion to form an upper edge. The first member has a flat base that can be secured to the fold or arranged on the upper edge of such flap, and connected directly to the main body portion of the crown. The fold may be secured to the main body portion of the crown in any suitable way.
