Abstract: An exercise device including an outer portion and an inner portion positioned within the outer portion. The inner and outer portions are attached together at a wrist portion in a fluid sealed manner to form a fluid tight cavity between the inner and outer portions. The inner and outer portions are be shaped and sized to provide at least one fluid flow channel or path extending from the wrist portion to a finger portion to allow fluid to flow from the wrist portion to the finger portion and back again, when a user is conducting reciprocating exercises and the fluid cavity is at least partially filled with fluid.

Abstract: A training glove, and methods of using the same are provided. The training glove includes a glove portion, wherein the glove portion includes a first protective portion disposed to cover at least a portion of the posterior of a user's hand when worn by the user. The training glove further includes a blocker portion, wherein the blocker portion is secured to the glove portion and includes a second protective portion disposed to cover a portion of a user's anterior forearm when worn by the user. The training glove further includes a retention system.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention there is provided a combat sports glove comprising: an inner layer configured to accommodate a wearer's hand; an outer layer covering at least a part of the inner layer; a padding layer between the inner and outer layers, configured to absorb energy of an impact between the glove and an object; and a sliding interface between the inner layer and the outer layer at which the inner layer and the outer layer are configured to slide relative to each other in response to an impact between the glove and an object.

Abstract: Laces and tying mechanisms can be used with boxing gloves and shoes to allow a user to secure the laces without a second person and/or without tying a knot. A tying mechanism can include a back-to-back hook and loop fastener element or can be a separate hook element and a loop element. Lace overhang sections of a lace can connect to the tying mechanism to enable a person to lace up his or her gloves, or shoes, while having two hands inside the gloves without the aid of another person.

Abstract: An MMA fighting glove is disclosed herein which has a smooth front profile especially at the top and lateral side of the glove when the glove is clenched. In this manner, the glove is less likely to cut an opponent's skin or training partner's skin when the lateral side grazes the opponent or training partner. Moreover, a sleeve may cover a strap mechanism of the MMA glove described herein or a prior art MMA glove to cover any protrusions or aberrations of the strap mechanism to further mitigate cutting of the opponent or training partner.

The first and second members are attachably connected to one another to collectively form the glove casing. The reception cavity receives the individual's hand when the glove casing is attached to the individual's hand. The stored fluid in the glove casing provides a weighted resistance to the individual during movement of the attached glove casing.

The panels are made suitable materials that enable the cover to fit snuggly over the pad where the front panel may be printed or written upon to display an image.

The accuracy ball has target aim points that a user attempts to strike. The ball can gather data concerning the user's performance during a workout, including strike: accuracy/precision, strength/force, number and velocity, etc. The target strike cover can provide cushioning, as needed. Internal grasp handles allow the accuracy ball to be held safely by providing protection from errant strikes. Sensors including force plates, accelerometers, gyroscopes, location sensing, temperature, pressure, humidity, etc. can all be incorporated. The wearer's fist is separated from the rear of the padding at the front of the hand protector preventing impact on the wearer's fingers and knuckles when the hand protector strikes a target. A gripping member extends across the fist space. A support strap encircles the wrist section of the hand protector and can be fastened around the wrist portion holding the wrist portion of the hand protector around the wrist of the wearer.

Abstract: A system and method for online authentication having at least two levels of authentication has been disclosed. The two levels of authentication provide total security of privileged information by requiring users to authenticate themselves in two stages/levels. The first level of authentication involves simple alphanumeric password verification, which if successful, is followed by a second level of graphical password verification. The graphical password verification is based on the novel concept of challenging users with a dotted grid to enable users to create a non-definable vector pattern of definitive lines by sequentially joining pre-determined dots in the grid.

Abstract: Routability (or wiring congestion) in a VLSI chip is becoming increasingly important as chip complexity increases. Congestion has a significant impact on performance, yield, and chip area. The present invention targets the optimization of congestion early in technology independent synthesis prior to physical design. Instead of attempting to optimize the logic structure as well as the spatial placement of a circuit, we pose a more modest goal limiting such optimization to the scope of logic synthesis. That is, we propose an aggressive optimization approach that is cognizant of circuit structure during technology independent synthesis and produces more predictable implementations which give better routability and yield.

Abstract: A Boxing glove having an inner mitt into which a boxer's hand is placed. The inner mitt utilizes a two layer palm lining which forms the front of the mitt and opposes a waterproof Taffeta pad lining which forms the back of the mitt. The inner mitt is attached to a padded outside covering and cuff so that the palm lining is exposed to the outside. The inner mitt is arranged so that in use as the boxer's hand perspires the first layer of the palm lining wicks away the sweat and the second layer allows it to dry and escape to the outside. Additionally, the waterproof Taffeta lining does not allow sweat to be absorbed by the boxing glove so that it maintains it's intended weight. The inner mitt incorporates grip bars and reinforced sections.

Abstract: Protective gloves for boxers are desirable for protecting the hands of boxers. Considerable stress is placed on the joints of the hand during the impact of a punch. The protective glove for boxers is secured to the hand using elastic bands around the digits of the hand and a wrist strap releasably secured by a hook and loop fastener. The chance of injury is reduced by the use of a flexible rubber pad to distribute force across the knuckles and a shock absorbing layer of cellular foam lining the interior of the glove. The protective glove for boxers can be applied by the user without assistance, and will not shift position during a fight.

Abstract: Combination one-piece hand/forearm paddings and shin/foot paddings are disclosed, preferably, for use during martial arts events. Abstract: A boxing training glove which incorporates characteristics of a heavy bag whereby when a boxer in training wears this glove and punches a hard surface, this acts to build up his muscular strength. The glove is constituted by a heavily-padded leather mitten having an inner liner formed by a plastic film envelope that conforms to the interior of the glove and is filled with a silicone fluid. The viscosity of the confined fluid is such that when the boxer punches the hard surface, the impact force is distributed throughout the liner by the silicone fluid, thereby replicating the effects of a heavy bag and avoiding injury to the hand wearing the glove.

Abstract: A hand and wrist stabilization device for disposition on the hand and wrist of a user internally of a boxing glove to reduce relative movement of internal hand elements, specifically, the metacarpophalangeal joints, during impact resulting from boxing activities includes a flexible body, a metacarpophalangeal joint force dispersion pad attached to the body, an ulnar wrist stabilization strap, a radial wrist stabilization strap, and a contoured wrist compression strap attached to the body portion and a metacarpophalangeal joint stabilization member attached to the body all act to disperse force on the metacarpophalangeal joints while stabilizing the metacarpophalangeal joints against internal movement caused by impact force transmitted thereto during boxing activities.

Abstract: A boxing glove including an impact reducing mechanism which can assist in minimising of some injury during boxing. The boxer's fist is movable within the covering defining the fist space and movable between the rear and front positions when the front of the boxing glove strikes a target. The impact reducing mechanism includes a first part, preferably in the form of a rectangular plate, and a resilient means, preferably including at least one elastic band, which operatively interconnects the plate to the covering. The plate is forwardly displaceable via the forward moving fist between an inoperative position and an operative position when the front of the boxing glove strikes the target. The plate thus acts against the elastic band. After the front of the glove has lost contact with the target, the elastic band allows the plate to be in the inoperative position. Preferably, the impact reducing mechanism includes a frame in the fist space said frame attached to the inside of the covering.

Abstract: An all purpose hand protection glove is formed of padded casing for fitting across the back of the hand, fingers and wrist of the user. A thin resilient hand pad is contained in the casing on the back of the hand and finger and wrist portion of the glove for fitting over the user's right or left hand. A hook and loop fastener strip is attached to the side of the wrist portion of the pad so that 85 inches of handwrap, included with the glove, may be attached to the hook and loop fastener strip, at the option of the user, to use in wrapping the thumb and stabalizing the wrist of the user. Two hinge points are formed, one between the hand pad and finger pad and the other between the hand pad and wrist pad to permit flexing of the fingers and wrist. The pads over the fingers are individually stitched to provide protection for each digit and increase the flexibility of the fingers. Four individual flexible elastic loops, through which the fingers insert, extend from the palm side of the casing.

Abstract: The invention relates to a baseball glove and an interior core covering thereof. Each fingerstall of each back member of the interior core covering and exterior covering constituting the baseball glove is formed by one back piece and two side pieces arranged on both sides thereof. The back piece is dimensioned longer than the side pieces; thus, it is easy to insert the hand and the fingerstall is curved concavely toward a ball catching face.
