Abstract: A supporting wire (10) for a breast covering garment (20), comprising: a first section (8); and a second section (9) pivotally connected to the first section (8) at a distal end (11) of the first and second sections (8, 9) such that the wire (10) is movable between an expanded position and a collapsed position by pivoting the first section (8) relative to the second section (9); wherein the first and second sections (8, 9) each have a cut-out portion (14) located at the distal end (11); a first tab (16) projecting in a perpendicular direction from the first section (8) to be received in the cut-out portion (14) of the second section (9); and a second tab (16) projecting in a perpendicular direction from the second section (9) to be received in the cut-out portion (14) of the first section (8).

Abstract: A method and apparatus for modifying an article of clothing employs a button or disk and an oval shaped or elongated receiver or collar. A shirt, blouse, dress or other article of clothing can be modified at any selected location(s) by placing the disk or button behind a portion of the fabric of the article of clothing, encapsulating or twisting the button or disk so that it is covered with the fabric, then pushing the fabric covered button or disk through a second layer or section of the article of clothing. The disk or button with both sections of fabric are then passed through a central elongated opening of the collar or receiver. The collar or receiver then retains the button and the portions of the article of clothing in a position that produces a gathering of fabric, thus modifying the design or look of the garment.

Abstract: A reversible, seamless article of clothing and a system for constructing reversible seamless garments and accessories by assembling and attaching a plurality of reversible and interchangeable panels of the article of clothing with a plurality of fasteners. The panel elements have a plurality of edges with a plurality of buttonholes adjacent to the edges. The fasteners are elastomeric two-headed button studs. The panel elements are attached by matching the buttonholes of the elements to form the article of clothing and inserting the studs into the buttonholes to fasten the panel elements. A plurality of trim elements have buttonholes adjacent to the edges and can be attached to the article of clothing by inserting the stud into a trim buttonhole and a buttonhole on the garment. With the system of construction using reversible elements with buttonholes and stud fasteners, accessories, such as tote bags and watch bracelets, can be constructed.
