Abstract: A nursing bra with an adhesive design includes a bra body and pads. The bra body includes a front side and a back side. The pads are configured to shape breasts and prevent nipple show-through. The front side of the bra body is provided with two cup structures. The cup structures are provided with accommodating spaces. The pads are semi-fixed in the accommodating spaces. In the nursing bra, the pads can be taken out of the cup structures for cleaning and dried directly outside the bra to prevent growth of mold and bacteria, and they are prevented from shifting and curling by adhering positions, improving wearing comfort.

Abstract: A clipping extender for a nursing bra and the nursing bra are provided. The clipping extender for the nursing bra includes an extension strap and a first back clip. The extension strap is made of an elastic for providing an extended length. One end of the extension strap is fixedly connected to the first back clip, and the first back clip is configured to detachably connect a front clip of the nursing bra. To pump milk, the nursing mom wearing the nursing bra only needs to connect the clipping extender to the back and front clips of the nursing bra to increase the space between the nursing bra and the body for placing the portable breast pump.

Abstract: A therapeutic posture correcting and chest expanding bra invention for improving posture and thoracic mobility, including a method of manufacture thereof in the posture recovery, chest expansion, shoulder and spine muscle rehabilitation, occupation risk prevention, anti-aging posture training and athletic enhancement space. A bra that is uniquely designed, manufactured and fabric woven to improve scapular kinematics and spinal biomechanics, and overall proprioceptive posture rebalance, correction and comfort that allows for breathability, functionality, range of motion, and a fashionable nature. The kinematic bra is uniquely designed and narrows the distance between the scapulae with proprioceptive shoulder muscle relaxation and spinal muscle activation, and, secondarily, allows for chest expansion to provide better breathing and overall improvement of women's health and wellness.

Abstract: A hub, an extensible vertical member pivotally attached to the hub for movement between a stowed position and an erect position, and at least three extensible horizontal members each pivotally attached to the hub for movement between a stowed position and an erect position. The vertical member and the horizontal members are each extensible such that a ratio of the extensible length of the vertical member to the extensible length of the horizontal members is adjustable for required stability in high wind applications.

Abstract: A shoulder strap device and method provides a movable and/or swiveling attachment arrangement which spreads the load to the wearer's specific shape. Embodiments of the device include a set of strap ring components, each strap ring component having a substantially linearly extending base portion and a substantially curvilinearly extending retention portion, first and second connector items or straps secured to respective subsets of the strap ring components, and a body garment secured to the strap ring components.

Abstract: A brassiere is provided to address the lack of bust support provided by traditional brassieres. The brassiere incorporates a scooped back band having constructed and seamed wings and asymmetric rings at the back strap joint.

Abstract: A shoulder strap for a women's bra, as well as the associated women's bra, where the shoulder strap includes a first section having a width, a second section having a width, and a ring, where the first section and the second section are attached to the ring, where the width of the first section proximal to the ring is approximately the same as the width of the second section, and where the width of the first section increases to a width larger than the width of the second section distal from the ring.

Abstract: An adjustable width brassiere strap for selectively providing arm support of a brassiere includes an elongate central panel having a front end and a back end; a bottom pleat affixed along a first edge of the elongate central panel; a top pleat affixed along a second edge, opposite the first edge, of elongate central panel; and wherein the pleats and said central panel are affixed, one to another, et each of the ends of the central panel. In use, the brassier strap is adjustable from an otherwise “conventional” dimension to a “widened” dimension.

Abstract: A bra with a reversible effect of bringing the breasts closer together includes two cups linked together by a bridge portion and an adjustment device for adjusting the distance between the cups located at the bridge portion. The adjustment device includes a first fastening element and a second fastening element arranged on either side of the bridge portion and movable relative to each other between a coupled position in which the two cups are brought closer together and an uncoupled position in which the two cups are moved apart.

Abstract: A shoulder strap device and method provides a movable and/or swiveling attachment arrangement which spreads the load to the wearer's specific shape. Embodiments of the device include a set of strap ring components, each strap ring component having a substantially linearly extending base portion and a substantially curvilinearly extending retention portion, first and second connector items or straps secured to respective subsets of the strap ring components, and a body garment secured to the strap ring components.

Abstract: A load-bearing garment, such as a vest, is provided having stretchable web platform on an outside surface, such as between front and back panels of the vest. The stretchable web platform includes stretchable bands that extend horizontally, and vertical webbing extending between multiple horizontal bands. Additional embodiments are directed to a mounting system in a plate carrier for a plate. Still further embodiments are directed to a handle and strap system for a vest or other garment that permits a quick rescue of a person wearing the vest.

Abstract: The invention is a brassiere accessory for improving posture, and more specifically, to a brassiere accessory that couples to and between shoulder straps at the posterior portion of a brassiere. The brassiere accessory rests against the back of a user providing a supportive tension that prevents excessive kyphosis (curvature) of the thoracic spine (upper back) and straightens the back of the user so that the user's posture is improved.

Abstract: An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something.

Abstract: A wader presented. The wader includes a bib including three strap attachment buckles. Two of the three strap attachment buckles are positioned at a front of the bib and one of the three strap attachment points is positioned at a rear of the bib. The wader includes a shoulder strap including two buckles. Each one of the two buckles of the shoulder strap is configured to couple to any one of the three strap attachment points of the bib. The shoulder strap is configured to support the bib when one of the two buckles of the shoulder strap is connected to the one of the three strap attachment points positioned at the rear of the bib and the other of the two buckles of the shoulder strap is connected to one of the two strap attachment buckles positioned at the front of the bib.

Abstract: A system and method for holding up diaper in infant pants. The system generally includes pants, shirt, and at least two straps that secure the top side of the pants and the bottom side of the shirt either on the front, back, interior, or exterior sides of the pants and shirt. Those straps may also be adjustable for tautness. A further embodiment includes foot coverings that extend from the pants to cover the infant's feet. Such foot coverings may be made from a breathable material. The invention may also include cushioning to protect the infant from falls. Finally, the invention generally includes elastic bands and cushioning on the buttocks portion of the pants to prevent an infant's diaper from sagging downward.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an undergarment that includes a body and a first elongated loop attached to a front side of the body configured to receive an attachment mechanism of a shirt hold-down device. The undergarment further includes a second elongated loop attached to a back side of the body configured to receive an attachment mechanism of a shirt hold-down device.

Abstract: A necklace that does not fully encircle the neck of the user but, instead, has its two free ends with an affixing device at each free end to attach to the straps of the wearers garment or undergarment, such as a bra. In the preferred embodiment, the straps have a plurality of affixing devices vertically spaced along the strap so as to enable the user to position the necklace at differing heights on the wearer to suit the particular neckline of the attire worn by the user. In addition, the affixation and removal of the necklace takes place at the front of the wearer and thus is more convenient and easier to carry out than the use of a clasp that is intended to be manipulated behind the neck of the wearer.

Abstract: A textile structure with pheromone particles comprises a textile and plural pheromone particles adhered to the textile. The scent given off by the pheromones of the opposite sex can cause a particular behavior or physiological response to provide an effect of sexual arousal and increase sex appeal, thus making it easier for the wearer to develop interpersonal relationship. The textile can be fabricated into different styles of clothes to be worn by the wearer, thus increasing the convenience in use.

Abstract: A pant leg retaining device is disclosed. The device includes one ore more strips of stretchable material, forming a central portion and two pairs of diverging members therefrom. Each of the diverging members have a free end to which is affixed a securement means wherein, when the central portion is placed under the foot, each diverging member is adapted to be positioned adjacent to a wearer's ankle bone and attached via the securement means to the pant leg of a wearer.

Abstract: A breast feeding aid for retaining a shirt up above the breast during feeding includes a strap having a first end and second; a shirt anchor operatively coupled to the first end of the strap, and a shirt attachment mechanism operatively coupled to the second end of the strap. During use, the breast feeding aid is attached to the lower edge of the user's shirt. The breast feeding aid is then pulled upward and over the shoulder of the user so that the shirt anchor rests on the user's back. This pulls and retains the shirt up above the breast during feeding.

Abstract: A clothing strap tensioning device has an elastic member having a geometry generally defined by middle, left end, and right end portions, and bounded by upper, lower, left and right edges, and includes mechanical snaps or other releasable attachment mechanisms integrated into the left end and right end portions for enabling releasable attachment of the end portions to each other to form the elastic member into a loop. The tensioning device is looped around a pair of spaced vertical straps of a brassiere, such that the straps are drawn toward each other medially to prevent the straps from slipping down the shoulders of a wearer and to impart an upward lift to the wearer's breasts. The geometry of the elastic member also prevents twisting of the straps.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a brassiere strap clip (20) having three first fingers (31, 32, 33) joined at a first base (21) and all pointing in a first direction, three second fingers (41, 42, 43) joined at a second base (22) and pointing in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a pair of joining members (23, 24) extending between the first and second bases (21, 22) with each joining member (23, 24) being positioned between a corresponding pair of the first and second fingers (31, 32, 33, 41, 42, 43). Furthermore, a method of modifying the rest position of shoulder straps (6, 7) of a brassiere (2) is disclosed whereby the method includes the step of applying an inwardly directed force to each shoulder strap (6, 7) substantially mid way between the shoulder and the point of rear attachment (9) of each strap (6, 7) to the brassiere back strap (4).

Abstract: Devices and methods for adjusting the appearance of the cut of a garment, e.g., a bikini-type swimsuit. A garment system provides a garment; a first set of adjustment devices, e.g., snaps or clips, configured to adjust the appearance of the garment; and a container that includes a second set of adjustment devices. The second set may have a different color, pattern or material from the first set and may also be configured to adjust the appearance of the garment.

Abstract: A harness for holding the distal end of a pant leg about the ankle region of a person who is wearing long pants is disclosed herein. The harness includes an elongate first strap, an elongate second strap, and a pair of releasable fasteners. The first strap has two ends, and the second strap has two ends joined to the first strap respectively proximate the two ends of the first strap. The fasteners are respectively located at the two ends of the first strap. In this configuration, the first strap is adapted for fitting about the sole of a foot of the person, and the second strap is adapted for fitting about the heel of the foot. The fasteners are adapted for being attached to the distal end of the pant leg so as to hold the distal end of the pant leg in place about the person's ankle region.

Abstract: The invention relates to an integral protective work clothing item comprising releasable integrated retaining elements and a digitally-activated retaining fastener. The inventive clothing item includes a harness and a retractable mechanism for securing a user to a standard lifeline. The item also comprises additional protective elements, such as a helmet, gloves and shoes which are connected thereto by means of respective elastic bands. Each of said bands is equipped with a hole for a fastener device that can only be released using a device designed for said purpose. The digitally-activated fastener comprises an electromagnet, a mobile discoidal part and a spring element. The cover of the fastener casing is provided with a hole and a tubular formation in which a pin or rod can be inserted and guided.

Abstract: A shoulder strap fastener for use on two shoulder straps on a garment, comprising an elongated elastic material strip having a length longer than a width of garment shoulder straps with which the fastener is intended to be used. A first fastener member is affixed at one end of the material strip, and a second fastener member is affixed at a second end of the material strip, whereby said first and second fasteners provide a positive lock to fasten said elastic strip material between two shoulder straps on a garment.

Abstract: A brassiere strap clasp is used to hold either a cloth strap or a bead strap. The brassiere strap clasp has a body and a clamp. The clamp is pivotally attached to the body and has multiple teeth that extend toward the body. The cloth straps and the bead straps can pass through the brassiere strap clasp and are held by the teeth on the clamp. Also, the brassiere strap clasp can be used to adjust the length of the strap.

Abstract: A napkin holder formed of two pairs of magnetic securing devices attached in a laterally movable arrangement with respect to each other on the outer ends of a partially neck encircling lanyard. The magnetic securing devices are formed of plastic tabs movable laterally with respect to each other, one tab having an embedded magnet and the other having a magnetizable slug embedded in it. The napkin holder may be supplied with at least one napkin to be used with it in a package designed to provide an immediately usable combination product.

Abstract: A front closure for a brassiere which is invisible in the connected state of the front flaps of the brassiere has two closure halves each with a semielliptical plate and one with an annular formation and the other with a lug snap fitted into the annular formation. Outwardly of the annular formation and the lug, the plates form sewing flanges which can be stitched through to attach fastener halves to the brassiere halves, e.g. with a zigzag stitching.

Abstract: A swimsuit converter is provided for converting the bottom rear panel of a swimsuit to a shape with more body exposures. The swimsuit converter includes a center connection part, and a plurality of extensions, each with one end connected to the center connection part and with another end connected to an attachment structure. When in use, a swimsuit wearer attaches two extensions through the attachment structures to two sides of a bottom rear panel of a swimsuit and attaches one or more extensions to one or more locations around the waist portion of the swimsuit. The swimsuit converter holds the swimsuit rear panel together, and converts a conventional or bikini style swimsuit to a thong style, which is particularly suitable for sun bathing and sun tanning.

Abstract: This invention relates to a trouser leg retaining device which is used for maintaining one's trouser legs in the proper position in relation to one's shoes. This invention includes an elongated elastic strap with a snap fastener device at one end and either a locking clip or an O-ring at the opposite end. The snap fastens onto one's trouser leg while the O-ring fastens onto one's shoe. The elastic strap has an adjuster positioned on it to adjust the length of the strap.

Abstract: An anti-climbing restraining strap attached to article of clothing made for a child. The restraining strap, which is incorporated into the article of clothing, aids in preventing a child from climbing over the railing of a crib, playpen or gate. The article of clothing includes two legs. The article of clothing includes at least one restraining strap between the legs of the article of clothing. The restraining strap is usually detachably fastened to at least one leg using fasteners to allow full mobility of a child, whereby the detached restraining strap is fastened to the article of clothing in some fashion to prevent an unsafe situation.

Abstract: A device for tensioning a side tarpaulin on a mounting structure, such as a vehicle superstructure, includes an abutment element attachable to the mounting structure, at least one side tarpaulin tightener separate from the abutment element being attachable to the side tarpaulin and swivelable into the abutment element to a closed position therein so as to apply a desired tension to the side tarpaulin, and a latch mechanism pivotally attached to the side tarpaulin tightener and engageable with the abutment element upon swiveling of the side tarpaulin tightener to the closed position for releasably securing the side tarpaulin tightener to the abutment element at the closed position and for retaining the side tarpaulin tightener at the closed position independent of the tension exerted on the side tarpaulin.

Abstract: A bra strap converter for pulling bra straps closer together is provided. The bra strap converter includes a slide and a fastening apparatus, which can be constructed in three different ways. The slide allows the size of the bra strap converter to be adjusted, and may include hooks at each end that functions by attaching to each shoulder strap of the bra in the area across the shoulder blades. Alternatively, an elastic strap may include a hook-and-eye closure apparatus which allows the bra strap converter to be looped around the shoulder strap of the bra and hook together. In addition, a method is disclosed for using a detachable bra strap which includes a first attachment part at one end of the attachable bra strap and a second attachment part at another end attachable bra strap.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for concealing bra straps. The bra strap concealer being formed by a plurality of elastic members coupled to portions of the bra. Various clasping mechanisms are also disclosed.

Abstract: In one aspect, a pair of suspenders for being detachably secured to a pair of pants, the pants having first and second panels and at least one fastener that detachably secures the first and second panels together. The pair of suspenders includes at least one strap and at least one anchor, attached to the at least one strap, that is adapted to detachably mate with the at least one fastener. In another aspect, the pair of pants has a front panel and a back panel that are detachably secured so that the back panel can be dropped independently of the front panel. The pair of suspenders includes means for attaching the at least one strap to the pair of pants so that the pair of suspenders directly supports the back panel while enabling the back panel to be dropped without removing the suspenders from the shoulders of the wearer. In another aspect, the suspenders are attached to the pair of pants at only two anchors. The suspenders can be employed with a pair of snowpants.

Abstract: A stretchable, adjustable support device for clothing shoulder straps which connects together straps worn near opposite shoulders and biases shoulder straps worn near one shoulder toward those straps worn near the opposite shoulder to maintain each in a centrally located position between the wearer's neck and one of the wearer's shoulders, thus preventing the straps worn near either shoulder from sliding over its adjacent shoulder. The ends of the support device may be connected to the shoulder straps with hook and pile types of fasteners or they may be permanently attached to the shoulder straps. Applications may include, but are not limited to, use in supporting straps of brassieres, slips, camisoles, and swimsuits.

Abstract: A system for keeping a firefighter's uniform together. Typically, firefighter's trousers can slip over the boots when the uniform is sitting together with the trousers on the boots in a "ready to use" position. In this position, the firefighter slips on the boots, pulls up the trousers and leaves to go to the fire. Applicant's system includes a strap attached to the top of the boot and fastened to the inside of the trousers so the trousers will not slip over the heel of boot and make it more difficult to get to the scene of the blaze.

Abstract: A shoulder strap connector for a garment has a first oval or circular member connected to one of the shoulder straps and a second oval or circular member connected to the other shoulder strap and provided with a hook engaging the first member so that the straps can be joined in an X pattern when desired. The hook projects inwardly substantially to an extension of the inner periphery of the second member and in any event lies inwardly of an extension of the outer periphery of the inner member.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for securing brassiere straps in a selected position prevents the straps from sliding off the shoulders of the user.

Abstract: A removable clothing conjoiner to attach the waistband of a pants or skirt to a user's shirt or blouse. The base of the conjoiner is made of a material or dimensioned so that it is stiffer in one direction than the other, with the stiffer direction being aligned vertically, thereby preventing rolling, folding, or bunching of the material during use while allowing flexibility in the horizontal direction. The base is coated with adhesive, and the adhesive is covered by removable liners which the user peels off when applying the conjoiner to his/her clothing. The removal tab permits easy separation of the liners from the conjoiner and also permits easy removal of the conjoiner from the clothing so that it can be discarded after use.

Abstract: A tether for coupling an article of headwear to clothing of an individual. The inventive device includes a headwear engaging assembly for coupling to an article of headwear. A tether extends from the headwear engaging assembly and terminates in a clothing engaging assembly for coupling to an article of clothing to secure the headwear relative thereto.

Abstract: A retainer for gathering together a shoulder strap of a first garment and a shoulder strap of a second garment and for holding one or more shoulder straps in place on a wearer's shoulder. The retainer includes a body having stabilizing structure for holding the retainer stable on the wearer's shoulder; and grip structure attached to the body for gripping one or more shoulder straps and for securing one or more shoulder straps to the body.

Abstract: A new and improved clothing anchor apparatus, especially useful for anchoring the front and back tails of shirts, includes a first clothing connector, a second clothing connector, and an elastic strap connected therebetween. The elastic strap has a first end, an interior portion, and a second end. A strap length adjuster is located on the interior portion of the strap for adjusting the effective length of the strap. The effective length of the strap is adjusted by adjustingly doubling a portion of the strap. A soft, flexible jacket encompasses a portion of the elastic strap and the strap length adjuster. The jacket may also include a pocket for receiving and secretly storing soft, flexible items such as paper money. In use, preferably, two clothing anchor apparatuses of the invention are used. One clothing connector of each apparatus is attached to the front shirt tail, and the other clothing connector of each apparatus is attached to the back shirt tail by first passing under the crotch area.

Abstract: A central elastomeric web, having concave sides to accommodate an individual's groin area, includes the central web to provide a plurality of tether webs extending longitudinally beyond the central web, with each tether web including a latch fastener for securement to a perimeter portion of an individual's shirt in use.

Abstract: A resilient shirt retainer for retaining the shirttails of a garment in tucked, fully extended or deployed configuration on the body of a wearer. The shirt retainer includes a pair of narrow, elastic cross-straps disposed in an X-configuration and stitched at the center where the straps cross, each of the elastic cross-straps being covered with a pleated cloth sheath. A retainer clip is attached to each end of the cross-straps for removably securing the cross-straps to the front and rear shirttail portions of the garment. The cross-straps are deployed between the infant's legs to maintain the shirttails in a tucked or downwardly-deployed configuration.

Abstract: A shirttail retaining harness (10) is disclosed comprising a pair of elongate straps (12, 14), a means for connecting the straps to a garment (18) and, a connecting member (16) which retains a portion of the straps in spaced relation. The connecting member (16) is located away from the crotch and genital area of a wearer. The shirttail retaining harness (10) is adapted so that, in use, the straps (12, 14) thereof pass along the inside of the thighs of the wearer in the crotch area and diverge at both ends for attachment to a shirttail. An optional clasp (19) is also provided wherein the shirttail cloth is gripped between a protruding member (18e) and a layer of resilient material (18f).

Abstract: A belt designed to simulate the appearance of an expensive leather belt comprises a belt strap to form exclusively of molded plastic and having its front face and edge substantially uniformly machine finished. A fastener is secured to the belt strap adjacent one end thereof for operatively fastening the one strap end to the other strap end.
