Abstract: Medical lifting devices and methods are disclosed. A lifting support device includes a garment configured to be worn by a user and at least one sensory feedback element. The sensory feedback element is coupled to the garment and is configured to provide sensory feedback to the user. The sensory feedback encourages the user to adopt an appropriate posture during a lifting operation. A lifting vest includes a load transfer element, a posture compliance element, a coupling device, and at least one sensory feedback element. The load transfer element is configured to transfer a weight of a load to a point over shoulders of a user and down to a lower torso of the user. The posture compliance element is configured to passively or actively enforce an appropriate back posture. The coupling device is configured to connect the load-transfer element to the postural compliance element.

Abstract: There is provided a musical instrument support device comprising: first and second elongate pads spaced from each other, where each of the first and second elongate pads include an inner portion and an outer portion surrounding the inner portion; front strings coupled to front ends of the first and second elongate pads respectively; rear strings coupled to rear ends of first and second elongate pads and respectively; and a musical instrument connector coupled to the front strings wherein the musical instrument connector is configured to be removably coupled to the musical instrument.

Abstract: A utility harness is disclosed which is worn by a user to carry various recreational and utility equipment. The shoulder harness comprises two belts that cross in the front and rear with the ends at either side being secured together and to the users belt. The ends on either side are secured about a side belt loop on the users trousers to prevent movement of the belts. Attachment devices are secured along the length of the belts and elsewhere upon the harness as needed.
