A volume of air or similar gas is trapped within an air space between the lens body and the thermal backing to prevent the transfer of heat from one to the other. A seal surrounds the air space so that the air trapped therein is isolated from the atmosphere. A rib projecting from the lens body surrounds and lies outside the seal to prevent the seal from becoming saturated with liquid, paint, and the like which might be encountered during play. The trapped air within the air space prevents the protective lens from fogging and obstructing the wearer's view as a consequence of the lens body and the thermal backing having different temperatures.

    Abstract: Swimming goggles have a frame unit, lenses and buckles assembled on the frame unit, and at least a head strap with a plurality of stop grooves. Each buckle comprises an abutting arm having a stop end, an operating lever being movable transversely and bringing the abutting arm to move, and an offset portion between the abutting arm and the operating lever. When the operating lever moves transversely, the offset portion makes the stop end of the abutting arm move upward or downward to abut or release the stop grooves of the head strap. The swimming goggles adjust length of the head strap easily.

    Abstract: A swimming goggle includes an eyepiece frame, a head strap and two fastening assemblies for connecting the eyepiece frame and the head strap. Both sides of the eyepiece frame have a through-hole respectively. Both ends of the head strap have protrusions. The fastening assembly includes a fastening base and a shroud assembled with the fastening base. The fastening base has an operating arm formed with an engaging piece. The fastening base has three tongues, a locking hole corresponding to the through-hole, and a trough for allowing the head strap to pass through. The shroud has a hook disposed through the through-hole and engaged with the locking hole. The inner edge of the shroud is provided with three notches for allowing the three tongues to be inserted therein. By this structure, the present invention can be assembled firmly, and the head strap can be tightened or loosened easily.
