Abstract: Disclosed herein is underwear facilitating comfortable carrying of a concealed firearm. The underwear includes a number of pouches strategically located adjacent carrying locations of the firearm, where the pouches may selectively contain a removeable pad. The underwear includes a pouch at each side of the users hips and a pouch at the groin area. Each pouch includes a top opening having a closure mechanism. The user may place a pad within the pouch adjacent the carrying location of the firearm. The underwear includes an outer fabric layer configured to prevent wear-out due to contact with the firearm or holster and inner fabric layer configured for skin contact. Removable pads may be provided in different shapes, thicknesses, levels of firmness, etc. Shapes may correspond to body anatomy or firearm/holster shape. The pads may be removed from the pouches so that the underwear may be worn while not carrying the firearm.

Abstract: A headgear apparatus is disclosed comprising a molded headgear apparatus which includes a cushioned core component to provide impact resistance during an activity. The headgear is configured to be low-profile to reduce the loss of vision caused by thick headgear which extends away from the face. The headgear may be molded to the facial contour of the user to provide complete protection from cuts, scrapes, swelling, and impact encountered in impact sports, such as martial arts, football, or other sports wherein impact to the head region is possible.

Abstract: A protective cup to be worn in women athlete's sports bras to protect against injury and pain from a contact in an aggressive sport. is disclosed. The Unstoppable Protective Cups can be slipped into the athlete's favorite sports bra, go virtually undetected, easy to run in with a flexible cut-out to absorb a blow. They are also lined with softer material to protect the breast from injury further and be worn with comfort.

Abstract: A headgear apparatus is disclosed comprising a molded headgear apparatus which includes a cushioned core component to provide impact resistance during an activity. Abstract: A sling for a firearm or luggage is provided comprising a pad comprising a single layer closed cell foam body defining a first surface and a second surface and a plurality of slots extending therethrough from the upper surface to the lower surface; and a binding secured to the periphery of the pad. The pad can be configured in a variety of ways to provide slings for carrying firearms and luggage. An embodiment of the pad is a backpanel having four sides and four corners that can be releasably connected to a chest pack such as a binocular case.

Abstract: A sports signaling system comprises a manager unit and a player unit. The manager unit comprises an input device, a wireless transmitter, and a processor. The player unit comprises a wireless receiver, an output device, and a processor. The player unit is embedded in a chest protector worn by a catcher of a baseball game or a softball game. The chest protector comprises a shield protecting the player unit. The shield is made of a polycarbonate material. In one example, an entirety of the player unit is between an inner layer of the chest protector and an outer layer of the chest protector. The player unit does not contact the catcher.

Abstract: The ergonomic protective shell device of the orthosis type includes a structure provided with a front end and a rear end. The structure has a shape widening from the front end to the rear end and is symmetrical along a longitudinal vertical median plane. The structure includes at least one cavity extending from one to the other of the ends. The cavity follows the widening shape and includes a narrowing in the area of the widened rear end. There are rigid support zones formed in the area of the widened rear end on each side of the narrowing of the cavity.

Abstract: A polyurethane foam, a polyurethane/polyorganosiloxane foam, and a polyurethane foam polyurethane/polyorganosiloxane foam material are disclosed and described herein. The materials are formed in the presence of a polymerization reaction initiator (an isoprenoid compound), and a polymerization reaction accelerator. The polyurethane foam is formed from an isocyanate and a polyol. The polyurethane foam polyurethane/polyorganosiloxane foam material comprises the polyurethane foam which is cross-linked to the polyurethane backbone to a polyurethane/polyorganosiloxane foam. Optional gelling agents, emulsification control agents, reinforcement fillers, cross-linkers, reinforcement polymers, rubber reinforcers, silk proteins, emollients, stabilizers and colorants are also described. The polyurethane and polyurethane-polyorganosiloxane foam materials exhibit a high degree of flexibility, resilience and excellent impact absorption.

Abstract: Cycling shorts for protecting a rider from harmful effects occasioned by the design of the substantially unpadded seat of a racing-type cycle. Fabric shorts of conventional or elongated design include a interior protective pad. The pad includes adjoined seat and crotch sections and is symmetrical with respect to an axis of symmetry. It includes an interior chamber for receiving pressurized air. A pump for delivering selectively pressurized air communicates with the interior chamber by means of a conduit. The chamber includes internally honeycombed sections for minimizing air flow so that the cushioning effect of the pad is preserved despite the force exerted by the weight of a wearer on the hard and relatively-inflexible seat.

Abstract: An apparatus for use with a protective cup is disclosed. The apparatus includes a plurality of support members which may position the protective cup in a preferred position relative to a user's body, and secure the protective cup in the preferred position. The plurality of support members may connect to the protective cup or a protective support configured to receive the protective cup. The apparatus may be configured to protect the user's groin region, such as the user's crotch area, pubic bone and genitals. The apparatus may also be configured to protect the user's buttocks or legs, such as the user's hips, thighs, shins or knees.

Abstract: Provided herein is an article of clothing configured to be worn around a user's crotch and thighs. In one embodiment, the article of clothing comprises a garment and a pad. In certain embodiments, the garment comprises an opening in an area between the thighs of the user when the article of clothing is worn by the user, and the opening comprises a perimeter. In one aspect, the pad is connected to the garment along at least a portion of the perimeter. Also provided herein is a method of manufacturing an article of clothing.

Abstract: A protective undergarment (10), shown in the form of shorts, includes integrally formed protective panels (22, 26, 30) that exhibit slash-proof properties. The protective areas (22, 26, 30) are made from a flexible Kevlar® knit or the like, and extend to cover the groin, crotch, substantial areas of the buttocks and the inner thigh regions of both legs. The protective panels (22, 26, 30) are externally snitched to a low thermal burden material (18, 20), such as a polyester mesh, that provides elasticity and completes the structure of the shorts (10). The Kevlar® knit is flexible and preferably lies directly against the skin of a user to provide blast wave and ballistic fragment deflection while permitting mobility in a lightweight arrangement. Varying thickness of the Kevlar® knit can be used in the protective areas (22, 26, 30) selectively to enhance protection against blast wave and fragment penetration.

Abstract: A device for dispersing and dampening impact forces that includes a first sheet structure and a second sheet structure that are joined together at a boundary zone. The boundary zone joins the first sheet structure and the second sheet structure together to define at least one gas-tight chamber having two sides. An absorbent, suitable for absorbing urine, is at least partially disposed within the cavity and a moisture barrier is positioned adjacent the body to help protect clothing from urine soiling. A liquid-permeable liner is attached to the body in a spaced-apart relation to the absorbent. To create a hammock-like effect, the liquid-permeable liner may be attached at the perimeter of the body.

Abstract: An athletic undergarment and a protective cup assembly is provided. The undergarment includes a cup pocket for holding the protective cup over the groin of the wearer. The cup includes an attachment location in a lower portion to secure a first end of a strap. The coupling mechanism is provided having a first portion on the strap and a second portion disposed in a rear portion of the undergarment proximate to the waistband.
