Abstract: A sleeveless hoodie is described that is characterized by a sleeveless tubular body with an opposing pair of internal elbow pockets, an oversized hood made of a partially-see through mesh fabric that is configured to cover the eyes and at least part of the face, and a pair of separate and distinct neck pillow members located on the top of the tubular body along the left and right sides of a neck opening.

Abstract: A bedding with viewing lenses is provided including a flexible body having a first aperture therethrough. The first aperture is disposed on an upper portion of the flexible body, wherein the upper portion is defined above a first midline bisecting the flexible body between opposing lateral sides of the flexible body. A translucent lens is disposed within the first aperture, wherein the lens extends across an entirety of the first aperture. In some embodiments, a second aperture and lens is disposed on the flexible body to accommodate multiple individuals viewing through the bedding simultaneously.

Abstract: A scarf includes a neck portion adjustable in size via a size-adjusting element and two end sections. The neck portion is positioned and extends between the two end sections and is connected thereto. Each end section has an attachment element concealed within, and further includes a portion of a pre-tied scarf design, each of the attachment elements configured to connect together to form the pre-tied scarf, with the appearance of a self-tied scarf, about a neck of a wearer. The attachment elements connect in the front of the scarf as worn by the user, and the neck portion is adjustable in size prior to and independent of the attachment elements.

Abstract: An article of apparel for providing shelter to one or more people during a storm or other severe weather event is provided. In one embodiment, the article of apparel includes a cape. The article of apparel also includes at least one fastening mechanism. The at least one fastening mechanism including a pair of wrist cuffs configured to secure the article of apparel to a wearer. The article of apparel further including at least one securement mechanism. The at least one securement mechanism including a pair of arm straps. The pair of arm straps include a closure system configured to interlock the arm straps together in a locked configuration to secure the wearer to a stationary object.

Abstract: A welding process of an inflatable product is provided that includes using isolating members between first and second portions of weldable tensioning members to resist the first and second portions of the weldable tensioning structures being welded together during welding of the first portions to a first sheet of weldable material and welding of the second portions to a second sheet of weldable material.

Abstract: A collar for a disposable surgical gown is provided. The collar includes a first portion having a first end and second end and a second portion having a first and second end. The first ends of the first portion and the second portion meet at a front of the collar to form a v-neck shape and the second ends of the first portion and the second portion meet at a rear of the collar to define a neck opening. The v-neck shape at the front of the collar forms an angle of greater than 90° at the neck opening, while the second end of the first portion and the second end of the second portion are tapered at the rear of the collar. Such an arrangement prevents the collar from gapping when a wearer leans forward or moves during, for instance, a surgical procedure.

Abstract: A legs apron for a motor vehicle includes a first part of apron having anchoring elements for removably anchoring the first part of apron to the motor vehicle, a second part of apron configured to at least cover the legs of a driver of the motor vehicle, a coupling system operatively interposed between the first and the second part of apron for removably coupling the first and second part of apron to each other, the coupling system defining a junction line between the first and second part of apron when the first and second part of apron are coupled together, where the apron further includes a waterproofing element arranged to waterproof the junction line.

Abstract: A wearable airfoil garment for reducing the cyclist aerodynamic drag. A garment material is elastically tethered between two or more anchor locations on the garment. The anchor locations are positioned and arranged to form transient, self-adaptive, body-conforming airfoil surfaces on the garment. The self-adjustment of the airfoil surfaces preserves the cyclist's comfort as well as the aerodynamic efficiency. The airfoil surfaces change in a body-conforming manner in response to the movements of a person wearing the garment. The aerodynamic performance of the garment is adjustable to the preference of the wearer. Garment airfoils constructed with seams suitably placed to trigger transition of boundary layers.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a garment for improving body posture that is lightweight, comfortable, discrete, adjustable, and easy to use, while requiring very little material with a low manufacturing cost. The present invention has scapular straps that are made of elastic fabric. One end of the scapular straps connect to a hook-and-loop panel near the waistline on the front of the garment, and the other end of the scapular straps connect to the back of the garment near the shoulder region. The invention has neither an elastic waist band, shoulder pads, nor straps that surround the shoulder and the arm. Since there are no straps surrounding the shoulder, the invention not only allows shorter straps to be used, but also prevents any seams from showing on the front of the garment. This allows the wearer to discreetly wear the posture correcting garment.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to an upper-body garment that can be converted into a backpack. The upper-body garment comprises a pouch structure located on an outer-facing surface of a back aspect of the garment. The upper-body garment further includes first and second closure mechanisms positioned on the outer-facing surface of the back aspect of the garment. To convert the upper-body garment into the backpack, the sleeves are folded inward, and the back aspect of the garment is folded toward the front of the garment so as to align the first and second closure mechanisms. The closure mechanisms can be releasably mated to each other to form the backpack and to enclose the upper-body garment within the backpack.

Abstract: A towel for use after a shower, a bath, or a swim. The towel is arranged to stay closed about a wearer's body and at the same time allows his or her hands to be free. The towel affords the wearer privacy when changing clothing, for example, in a locker room. Also, when tied about the wearer, the towel allows him or her to sit comfortably on hot ground at the beach or other outdoor swim area. The towel can also be worn as a garment with an attractive and elegant appearance, and serve a number of other useful and desirable functions.

The garments include a vest with crossed back bands within the garment that are selectively fastenable to the exterior of the vest to exert tension from the shoulders to the hips. Also included is a cape with shoulder straps and hip straps to apply further tension when attached to the vest or another garment. A shirt includes a central back panel and one or more shoulder straps, the central panel extending to side straps at the hip. Shorts with a spiral strap apply tension from the body core to the leg of the wearer. Shirts and tops for women including for maternity wear include support specific to a woman's body. Some of the shirts, tops, shorts and vests have wearer adjustable straps to vary the tension applied by the straps.

Abstract: A full coverage gown that is used in medical facilities is presented. The gown includes a urine catheter pocket affixed to the gown. The gown also includes a pair of ties affixed to the gown above the urine catheter pocket. The pair of ties is configured to loop and tie around a hook attached to a urine catheter bag to prevent a backflow of urine and to secure the urine catheter bag within the catheter pocket.

Some apparel systems are presented that are configured to display an animation through a wearable prop. Ornamental designs for surface indicia, including color surface indicia, are also presented.

Abstract: An apparatus prevents sun damage of a car occupant while keeping the occupant cool. The apparatus comprises a material mechanically coupled to a pocket and a safety belt attachment device. The material is sufficiently large to cover the occupant's fingers, hand, arm and shoulder. The occupant can place the safety belt attachment device over a safety belt and can insert fingers into the pocket allowing an air conditioner vent or natural air to cool the occupant while the material protects the occupant from ultraviolet light.

Abstract: A wrap with pockets of the present invention comprising an elongated rectangularly shaped strip of pliable material may be made of a variety of natural materials and synthetic fibers, and/or a blend of one or more textile materials. One and/or a plurality of pockets are provided on the external panel of the wrap with pockets at the end(s) along the axis of the longitudinal axis of the elongated strip. The pockets are designed to hold personal items such as credit cards, keys, cash, driver license, cosmetics, face tissue, etc. for top wear or sarong, or shawl. In one embodiment of wrap with pockets used for baby blankets or lap robe, the pockets may be designed to hold bulky items such as diapers, wipes, glasses, etc.

Abstract: Camouflage apparel for a hunter or solder or the like comprising a cape or sheet composed of camouflage material. The cape may be separate or attached to a pouch or hood of camouflage material. The cape and hood may be separate or attached to a portion of a vest which extends across the back of the neck of the wearer thereof such that the cape is receivable in the hood for stowage and such that the cape may be removed from the hood to drape across the front of the wearer. The vest has a seat which is stowably securable to the rear of the vest by straps which are fastened by buckles which are manipulatable at locations in front of the vest.

The outer surface of the outer layer is endowed with decorative properties such as color and texture for the intended use. Enclosed between the outer and inner layers, protected from abrasion and other potential hazards inherent in direct physical contact, at least one surface is a weather layer, preferably impervious to water.

The hand covering and garment combination includes at least one glove and a garment having at least one sleeve. A compartment can be located within an inner liner of the sleeve. The compartment can be configured to selectively receive and store the glove. An attachment element can be configured to selectively secure the glove to the sleeve. The attachment element can have a first end attached to the sleeve and a second end attached to a fastener. The fastener can selectively fasten and unfasten the glove to the attachment element. Finally, a retractable dial can be coupled to the sleeve, wherein a portion of the attachment element travels through the retractable dial. The retractable dial can be configured to selectively retract at least a portion of the first end of the attachment element.

The muff also has a receptacle pocket with a generally horizontally extending entranceway for carriage of small items located exterior to the passageway. The lower portions of the shawl may be folded upon themselves to form a pair of cuffs, the interior regions of the cuffs leading to the entranceway to the receptacle pocket. The cuffs may be further joined together above the muff to form a bib adjoining the muff.

The garment is slit away from, and generally perpendicular to, at least one body opening, such as extending along a leg or arm of the garment, to provide a closable opening for ready access to a wearer's treatment site with minimum discomfort to the wearer. The edge of the closable opening preferably includes hook-and-loop or zipper fastener material. The garment is formed of at least a durable outer layer material and a reduced-friction inner layer material and includes an exterior pocket for receiving a palliative element such as a thermal transfer element or a cushioning element. Preferably, the pocket area of the garment includes a waterproof layer, which may be the inner layer material or a separate layer.

The cape may be separate or attached to a pouch or hood of camouflage material. In still another embodiment, a transformable glove comprises a hand portion, a thumb portion, a first finger portion and a second finger portion with an opening in at least one of thumb and finger portions.

Abstract: A nursing apron for a breastfeeding mother is disclosed. The apron comprises a blanket of sufficiently large size to wrap around an upper portion of the mother's torso, and fixing means arranged so as to retain the blanket around the mother's torso. The fixing means includes first fixing means attached to the blanket at a first end portion of the blanket, and second fixing means attached to the blanket at a second end portion of the blanket. The locations of the first and second fixing means is such that the first and second ends overlap to a sufficient degree during use that the mother's breasts are not exposed whilst the mother is breastfeeding a baby.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cape for protecting a user from containments. The cape includes a neck portion adapted to be secured to a neck of the user and a main body portion having opposing front and rear portions extending from the neck portion adapted to cover the user. A translucent window assembly is provided on a front portion of the cape for providing visual access to a user's personal item disposed behind a rear portion of the cape.

Abstract: A reversible and water resistant garment includes a first side comprising a fabric layer and a second side comprising a polymeric layer. The garment resembles a cape and may comprise a hood, wherein the hood may be integral with at least one of the two layers. The garment may include one or more fasteners to secure the garment closed. The garment has one or more openings for the wearer to pass an arm through.

Abstract: A wrap and cover-up device can be conveniently stored and transported in a handbag while not in use and quickly accessed for use over a person's clothing or exposed skin to provide warmth and/or coverage when the need arises, all while remaining undamaged and substantially wrinkle free. The wrap and cover-up device includes an elongated piece of fabric capable of being compacted for storage and extended for use while remaining substantially wrinkle free, sized and configured when extended to fit laterally around at least a portion of a torso of a person. Also included is a container for receiving and maintaining the piece of fabric in the compacted state, whereby the piece of fabric in the compacted state fits within the container and the container with the compacted piece of fabric therein fits into the handbag.

Abstract: A covering, such as a blanket or a poncho, that is successively convertible into and from a stadium seat cushion and a tote bag, employs a conversion means comprised of at least one fastening flap and at least one hanging pocket. The fastening flaps wrap around the folded covering and hold the folded covering in the desired configuration, while the hanging pocket holds small items or beverages while the user is using the folded covering as a seat cushion. The method of folding the covering to convert it from a blanket or poncho into a seat cushion and a tote bag is also described.

Abstract: A versatile poncho preferably for a child is provided. By its unique configuration, the poncho of the present invention allows for convenient and safe use for a child while fastened in a car safety seat. The preferred embodiment of the poncho includes an opening on a moveable panel and includes, under the opening, a flap, such that the moveable panel can be moved over the child's head so that the child may be strapped into a car safety seat more safely and comfortably because the child may be placed directly against the seat and the straps may be placed directly against the child without a bulky winter garment between the seat and the child, and the flap covers a portion of the child to provide thermal protection while being strapped in. A method of using the poncho and of fabricating and assembling the poncho is also disclosed.

The multi-function garment composed of a piece of fabric or woven material having a substantially rectangular or trapezoid shape, and fasteners mounted along at least one side of the fabric or woven material. The multi-function garment generally has a size and a width-to-height ratio that allows a wearer to comfortably use the garment as a hood around the wearer's head or a shawl around the wearer's shoulder without significantly stretching the fabric or woven material. Moreover, the garment is sized such that, when used as a scarf around the wearer's neck, it would give a collar or turtle neck appearance by simply fastening some or all of the fasteners.

Abstract: A protective over-garment is disclosed that can be manufactured entirely by making cuts in a single sheet of plastic or other flexible material. In preferred embodiments it is disposable. The sheet has a neck hole in the center and covers the user's shoulders, upper arms, back, and chest. A cut radiating from the hole allows insertion of the user's head. The rim of the hole is held against the wearer's neck by tying together two strips of material formed by cuts that partially separate them from the sheet. Similar strips can hold the first cut and/or the sides of the garment closed. In preferred embodiments the sheet can be rectangular, hourglass, or double-hourglass in shape, and/or the sheet can be folded to fit in a standard home hair coloring kit. Cuts can be perforated, and the garments can be manufactured as a continuous length of sheets joined at perforated intersections.

Abstract: A combination multiple person and wheelchair protective covering includes first and second coextensively shaped ponchos. Such first and second ponchos are formed from water repellant material such that precipitation is prohibited from penetrating therethrough. The apparatus further includes a mechanism for removably attaching the second poncho to the first poncho, a mechanism for adjusting each of the first and second ponchos about the user head and the caregiver head respectively, and a mechanism for simultaneously securing each of the first and second ponchos respectively about the user body and the caregiver body and the existing wheelchair respectively during operating conditions.
