The bottom portion of the pocket panel has a separate piece of material for reinforcing the bottom of the pocket which is integral with the hemline along substantially the full width of the blouse. The pouch pocket openings are set at a convenient angle for entrance of the hand into the pocket and disallowing objects from falling out of the pockets.The outboard pant pockets have similar closures as the outside blouse pockets and like all pockets the bottoms are reinforced.

    Abstract: An improved hunting device for use as a jacket and to assist in hauling game from the woods is disclosed. The device of the present invention is constructed by measuring and cutting a rectangular piece of carpet or other flexible, foldable material. The material is sized to fit the upper body down to waist level and an opening is cut in the center of the material to receive the head of the hunter. A length of rope is attached to one of the short sides of the rectangular material adjacent both outer ends thereof and the rope then extends on the underside of the material adjacent both long sides of the material along the length thereof. The rope then passes through a hole adjacent each outer end of the other short side of the material to the outerside of the material and a securing hook is attached to each of the two ends of the rope. In use, the hunter passes his arms between the rope and material on each long side thereof and inserts his head through the center opening.

The vest is fastened at the front with a plurality of straps to adjust the vest to conform to the user's body. Pockets on the panel receive weights which are shaped to snugly fit into the pockets. The weights are easily bendable by a wearer to conform to the wearer's body. A second embodiment employs horizontal pockets on the inside of the vest and padded weights. The vest is designed to fit snugly and conform to the user's body so that the weights do not move relative to the user's body during use.

The knapsack is equipped with a pair of hook-type snap fasteners, such as a snap hook, arrnaged on the knapsack to permit attaching to the rings at the ends of the shoulder straps on the front of the garment, or the rings at the end of the shoulder straps at the rear of the garment. Alternatively, two knapsacks so equipped can be so attached, one at the front and one at the rear.

    Abstract: A variably weighted vest is provided for use in exercise, such as jogging, skating, bicycling and horseback riding. The vest is preferably provided with a plurality of pockets for the reception of commonly available material such as sand, pebbles, small stones, or even coins. The pockets are deep and large enough to hold, for example, approximately thirty pounds of weight and may be lightened as desired by the removal of an appropriate amount of the material used as weights. In one preferred embodiment a plurality of elongated tubular ribs are provided to minimize lateral shifting of the weight in use. In another preferred embodiment a single large pocket is provided across the back of the vest and a smaller pocket on each side of the front of the vest. The variably weighted vest according to the invention is relatively loose fitting so as to permit maximum comfort and body movement as compared with weighted garments of the prior art.
