Abstract: Concentrating nutrients in breast milk may be achieved using an apparatus comprising a first sheet of material comprising a forward osmotic membrane, a second sheet of material sealed to the first sheet of material about a common outer perimeter thereof, the first sheet of material arranged so that water can traverse the forward osmotic membrane to an interior of the first and second sheets, and a dry carbohydrate within the interior of the first and second sheets exhibiting an osmotic draw property to draw water from un-concentrated, expressed human milk to form concentrated human milk. After a predetermined time, or upon the milk remaining after drawing of water through the membrane being a desired amount, the water draw can end.

Abstract: A convertible beverage container may have a base structure having an interior configured to hold a liquid, and a lid structure removably mountable on the base structure over an open top to selectively close the open top. The lid structure may have a mounted condition characterized by the beverage container being able to at least partially retain a liquid in the interior of the base structure and an unmounted condition characterized by the beverage container being unable to retain a liquid in the interior of the base structure. Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel identification label that can be customized. The labels are designed to be either integrated or removably attached on exterior surface of consumer product containers allowing users to avoid potential confusion with respect to ownership, use or control of their containers. The label has an opaque scratch-off blank surface that can be removed to create a personalized identification mark. The label may have an UV-ink coating or can have a label layer for creating identification mark when the scratch-off blank surface is scratched. The labels are designed to be affixed on any personal item to prevent items from accidentally being misidentified.

Abstract: Devices and methods for mixing and preparing therapeutic pellets are described. In one aspect, the present disclosure may include a medical device for mixing and preparing pharmaceuticals. The medical device may include a body sized and shaped to be supported by a human hand. The body may be elastically flexible between a relaxed shape and a flexed shape. In the relaxed shape, the body may form a basin and may be shaped and sized to receive a vessel for mixing or forming the therapeutic pellets. In the flexed shape, the bowl may be configured for controlled pouring of the therapeutic pellets.

Abstract: This document discloses a disposable beverage cup with a non-removable straw. This disposable beverage cup and non-removable straw substantially reduce, or even eliminate, a chance that the straw will end up, on its own, polluting the world's oceans or land. This is due to the straw being non-removable and, along with the disposable beverage cup, being more likely to be properly disposed of, composted, or otherwise responsibly handled.

Abstract: The golf ball beverage container may comprise a flask and a funnel. The flask may resemble a golf ball in size, shape, and coloration. A screw cap may be removed from the flask to reveal a hollow interior that may be filled with a liquid. As a non-limiting example, the liquid may be a beverage. With the screw cap in place the liquid may be transported within the flask without spilling. The funnel may resemble a golf tee. The funnel may be operable to guide the liquid into a head of the golf tee through a hollow center of the golf tee and into the flask as the liquid is poured.

It also includes a microphone that can be used by the user or caregiver to provide instructions relating to the intake of medication or to assist patients that have hand or finger arthritis. The bottle has a longitudinal and circular body with a cap that can be twisted on/off at its top. The top, or the cap, is a smart cap that carries core intelligence and electronics. It comprises a microprocessor, in-built real-time clock, speaker and lights for intuitive alarms and microphone to hear the voice of user for ease of use.

Abstract: A system and method for altering the scent within the headspace of a product's packaging, such as a pill container. In the container, the pills or other consumable product partially fill the container. A scent release insert is placed into the container along with the consumable contents of the container. The scent release insert is elastomeric and is readily deformed by the consumable product within the container. As such, the scent release insert can be deformed into many of the voids within the container, therein making efficient use of space within the container. The scent release insert emits scent into the container and alters the scent of the head space within the container.

Abstract: An integrated system that includes a container configured to store a consumable liquid and a flexible, expandable straw secured to the inside of the container for consumption of the liquid. The straw can assume a first collapsed position inside the container and a second expanded position (e.g., when pulled) that extends away from the bottom of the container and past an upper rim of the container for consumption of the liquid through the straw. Use of a flexible, expandable straw in the above manner facilitates stackability of a plurality of such containers by allowing the straw to initially be compactly stored adjacent an inside bottom of the container before being pulled outwardly to allow for consumption of the beverage in the container. Securement of the straw to the inside of the container reduces the likelihood of ingestion by animals and the like.
