Abstract: In a magazine, when a lid is opened for loading a recording material, a discrimination pin is unlocked and shifted from a first position to a second position. When a magazine is set to a printer processor, a positioning pin presses the discrimination pin to shift to the first position, at which the discrimination pin is locked. After removal of the magazine from the printer processor, the discrimination pin is in the first position. When the lid is opened to load fresh recording material in the magazine, the discrimination pin is in the second position. It is discriminated by detecting the position of the discrimination pin whether the magazine is a partially used one. When the partially used magazine is set to the printer processor, a forward edge of the recording material is not cut.

Abstract: Portable container apparatus and method for co-storing work articles including working implements and their associated elongated elements such as cable, power cord, hose, wire, string, thread, yarn, rope, bridle or leash elements. The container retains a collection of working implements within its inner cavity while simultaneously retaining elongated elements upon its outer surface of revolution. The container rotates to facilitate wrapping and unwrapping of the elongated elements. The container, which may include retractable wheels, is further configured as a seat or step-stool. An optional electrical supply source is included on the container wall.

Abstract: In order to facilitate the shipping and display of products for selection and purchase by a consumer, the product shipping and display carton includes a display box, a shipping sleeve, and a removable fastener. The display box is defined by a bottom panel and an upwardly extending wall panel together forming a product carrying enclosure. The display box has an open top defined by a top wall panel edge opposite the bottom panel. The wall panel has a removable panel portion below the open top defining a product viewing window in the display box. The shipping sleeve is defined by a top panel and a downwardly extending wall panel together forming a telescoping enclosure. Abstract: A multi-purpose toothbrush for promoting oral hygiene includes an elongated shaft having a brushing section that includes a plurality of bristles extending radially outwardly therefrom. The brushing section is coated with a predetermined quantity of a tooth-cleaning agent that is activatable via water. The shaft further includes an accessory dispensing section integral with a gripping section and oppositely spaced from the brushing section for providing dental floss and mouthwash. A plurality of protective wrappers are removably positioned about the toothbrush for maintaining same in a substantially sanitary condition during non-use conditions.

The photograph holder includes a photograph compartment for containing a plurality of photographs and film cartridge compartment formed from a panel created by cutting portions of the blank on at least one side edge of the holder and pushing the cut portions inward toward the interior of the holder. Unlike other photograph holders, the film cartridge is visible from the exterior of the photo holder so that consumers can view the unique APS identification number when the photo holder is closed. The photo holder is particularly useful in ensuring that the film cartridge is not separated from the corresponding photographs.

The toilet paper storage container can be placed within a pliable cover that encloses the storage container therein.

Abstract: A toilet paper dispenser which stores several rolls in a vertical column. The rolls are individually dispensed via a swinging carriage located near the column's top. A spring-loaded follower urges the stack of rolls upward, so that as each roll is dispensed, the one immediately below takes its place. The dispensing mechanism is designed so that one and only one roll is dispensed for each cycle of the swinging carriage.

Abstract: A method for increasing caliper control of a fibrous web as the web is wound onto a roll is provided. The method includes winding the fibrous web containing cellulosic fiber onto the roll to form a wound product and conveying the web through a nip prior to winding the web onto the roll. The nip is configured to apply a pressure to the web to selectively decrease the caliper of the web as the web is wound onto the roll. Also disclosed is a system for controlling the caliper of the fibrous web in which a calender device forms a nip through which the fibrous web is conveyed. The system includes an adjustment device, which is configured to adjust the nip of the calender device to increase pressure on the fibrous web as the diameter of the roll increases thus increasing uniformity of the caliper of the fibrous web.

Abstract: An article for packaging food is provided in which the article comprising a triangularly shaped top layer of a first flexible material, such as aluminum foil, having two sealing edges and one opening edge, and a triangularly shaped bottom layer of a second flexible material having two sealing edges and one opening edge, wherein the sealing edges of the top layer are secured to the sealing edges of the bottom layer, thereby forming a conical pouch between the top layer and the bottom layer. The pouch has an opening between the opening edges into which food items can be inserted and then the opening edges folded together to close the pouch. The top layer preferably includes perforations that facilitate tearing open the top layer, for example, during or following reheating of the food item.

A tying portion ties a combination of a sheet roll with a subshaft with a strip, thereby bundling the combination. Then the combination thus tied is packed in a package bag by a packaging portion. A transferring and mounting portion lays an even number of combinations as alternately reversing orientations thereof, and an encasing portion encases the combinations thus laid in a container.

The free end of the continuous strip of tickets is fed through an opening in the holder which has a ticket locator that maintains the first ticket in the strip readily available, and provides an edge to facilitate the removal of a single ticket or multiple tickets. Abstract: A combined greeting card and gift box apparatus having a box portion and a moveable panel member. The moveable panel member may be moved from a closed position wherein indicia thereon in the form of a greeting or wish is not readable, to an open position wherein the indicia may be read by the recipient. When in the open position, the recipient may begin withdrawing bills of currency, gift certificates, checks or other like objects which are secured to a carrier medium and supported within the interior of the box in a coiled fashion on the carrier medium. Since the recipient has no knowledge of how many bills of currency or other like items are within the box portion of the apparatus, the enjoyment and anticipation associated with learning of the total amount of the gift is enhanced. The apparatus is further constructed from a single panel of paper-like material and may be easily and quickly constructed without any special tools, external glues, etc.

Abstract: A multi-function toilet accessory including a main housing having a top wall having an elongated recess extending inwardly from an open rear thereof. The top wall has a square recess formed therein coextensive with one of a pair of side walls thereof. The open rear has an upwardly extending lip integral with a rear edge of the bottom wall of the main housing. A toilet paper dispensing portion is secured to the top wall of the main housing. A deodorizer portion is dimensioned for securement within the square recess of the main housing.
