Abstract: A smoking device can include a tube with an axis, a proximal end, a distal end and a restriction located between the proximal and distal ends. A combustion space is located axially inside the tube between the restriction and the distal end. The combustion space can contain a combustion product. In addition, a sleeve can be removably mounted to an exterior of the tube. The sleeve can be formed from an elastic material and have a storage configuration that can completely encapsulate both the proximal end and the distal end of the tube to seal the tube. The sleeve also can have a use configuration mounted to the proximal end of the tube, and removed from the distal end of the tube to allow air flow through the tube and the sleeve.

Abstract: A multipurpose snuffer device is provided. The device includes a sleeve, configured to receive and secure a lighter therein, and a circular lower cylinder, having a convex protrusion having a flexible lip member that is configured to snugly fit around a top edge of a pipe bowl and extinguish a burning material in the pipe bowl. The device may further include a circular intermediate cylindrical cavity, within the circular lower cylinder, configured to store a material capable of burning in the pipe bowl. The circular intermediate cylindrical cavity may be accessed by removing a bottom portion of the circular lower cylinder from an upper portion of the circular lower cylinder. The invention is useful for storing and organizing a plurality of items and functionalities of interest to a smoker, including a lighter, a material capable of burning in the pipe bowl, and a pipe extinguishing structure and functionality.

Abstract: A point of sale display including a first side with an image display having an aperture, and a second side with a backing wherein the aperture extends through the second side. A member (such as a hanger bar), onto which merchandise is held for display, may be supported by one or more point of sale displays. A member may be connected to a point of sale display by a bracket affixed thereto.

Abstract: A smoking accessory. The accessory includes a base having an upper surface with two openings. A first of the openings providing access to a pipe receptacle extending into the base from the first opening. A second of the openings providing access to a tobacco receptacle extending into the base from the second opening. The accessory includes a lid pivotally connected to the base by a hinge located above the upper surface of the base for selective movement in directions toward and away from the smoking pipe receptacle and the tobacco receptacle between an open position and a closed position.

Abstract: A storage receptacle for smoking material may open on two opposite sides. A bottom end of the storage receptacle may have a first cavity which may store the smoking material. A top end of the storage receptacle may have a second cavity which may store a pipe, a third cavity which may store a lighter and a fourth cavity which may store a cleaning pick. A top cover and a bottom cover may be removed from the top end and the bottom end of the receptacle, respectively. The top cover and the bottom cover may have teeth that may be used to grind, to divide and/or to separate the smoking material into smaller sizes. Threads may connect the top cover to the top end, the bottom cover to the bottom end, and/or the top cover to the bottom cover.

Abstract: A display that that includes a base member and an inflatable frame coupled to the base member. The base member includes a plurality of sections that are moveable relative to one another between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, the plurality of sections define a case for storing the inflatable frame in its collapsed state. In the deployed position, the plurality of sections define a base for the display system in the deployed position with the inflatable frame extending from the base to provide a display area of the display system.

Abstract: A pocket flask to be carried within the user's pocket having a hollow housing provided with a curved side wall and a bottom wall connected to the sidewall. A first partition wall divides the housing into a first liquid chamber and a second chamber. A second partition wall divides the second chamber into a tobacco chamber and a pipe housing chamber. A pipe is telescopically receivable within the pipe housing chamber and a first cover, which is pivotally connected to the housing functions to move pipe inwardly of the pipe housing chamber against the urging of a spring. The first cover is movable between a first open position and a second closed position to gain access to the pipe and to the tobacco. A closure wall which has a pouring opening, is connected to the housing for substantially closing the first liquid chamber. A cap removably closes the pouring opening.

Abstract: A pouch for tobacco and smoking items and accessories includes first and second outside panels that are attached at an edge and are foldable relative to each other between an open position and a closed condition. A first pocket panel on the first outside panel and a second pocket panel on the second outside panel. A separate pouch for storage of tobacco or other materials which pouch is detachably attached, e.g. by a hook and loop fastening to the first panel. A double-loop, item support attached to the second pocket panel. The double-loop is formed from a single piece of elastic material which is secured to the second pocket panel.

Abstract: A foldable smoking pipe is constructed from a flat blank of metal, small enough to fit in a wallet, that can be folded into a functional smoking pipe with an integrated bowl, screen, and stem. The stem is formed by multiple flat panels folded to create a passageway having an opening at one end. The stem has an upper panel with holes in it to form the screen. The bowl is formed by multiple flat panels folded to surround the screen. The flat blank of metal has a number of fold lines, which preferably are etched to about one-half the thickness of the metal blank, joining adjacent panels.

Abstract: A pouch for tobacco and smoking items and accessories includes first and second outside panels that are attached at an edge and are foldable relative to each other between an open position and a closed condition. A first pocket panel on the first outside panel and a second pocket panel on the second outside panel. A double-loop, item support attached to the second pocket panel. The double-loop is formed from a single piece of elastic material which is secured to the second pocket panel to form two different size loops and without the use of slits or other holes, for receiving the loop material, being formed in the second pocket panel.

Abstract: A device for smoking combustible materials includes a tubular body member constructed entirely of heat-resistant glass material. The device has an internal bore with an integrally formed venturi that separates the bore into a smoke chamber and a loading chamber. A method of forming the device includes providing a tubular body member constructed entirely from a heat-resistant glass material; forming a constricted passage in a bore of the tubular body member by applying heat to a predetermined location on the tubular body member until the glass material expands into the bore at the predetermined location; and smoothing the outer surface of the tubular body member at the predetermined location.

Abstract: The invented apparatus includes a wallet-like foldable member and a receptacle for storage of smoking material. The apparatus can also include a holder attached to the foldable member. One or more smoking accessories such as a pipe and a poker can be removably secured in the apparatus by the holder. In its folded configuration, the member stores the receptacle and any stored smoking accessory in a relatively compact configuration that can readily fit in a shirt or pants pocket for convenient carrying. When unfolded into its opened position, the member exposes the stored receptacle and smoking accessory(ies) so that such items can be selectively removed for use. The invented system includes the apparatus's member and receptacle, and in addition, includes at least one smoking accessory such as the pipe and poker. The system thus constitutes a smoking kit capable of holding substantially all smoking necessities.

Abstract: A complete smoking assembly including a housing that defines a first chamber for storing smoking material and a aperture, a top cover associated with the housing, and a lighter contained substantially within the housing for emitting through the aperture a flame for igniting outside of the housing a portion of the smoking material removed from the housing. The aperture is defined along a side of the housing. The assembly includes a smoking pipe for removing the portion of the smoking material from the first chamber, and the housing defines an elongated channel for removably receiving the smoking pipe. The top cover is slidingly engaged with the housing and is adapted to open and close the first chamber and open and close the channel. The lighter is configured to be substantially received within the housing in a neat and compact manner.

Abstract: A tobacco storage and smoking apparatus includes a housing having a first chamber which receives smoking materials such as tobacco and is covered by a cover including a bowl recess with a side passageway extending from the bowl recess to one end of the cover. The housing has a second chamber on an opposite side of the housing from the first chamber removably containing a stem having a through passageway and intended to be assembled to the cover to create a smoking pipe. The second chamber is downwardly open and may be closed by a further cover. If desired, the second chamber may contain a spring recess partially receiving a coil spring which biases the stem toward a direction of removal from the second chamber.

The smoking system includes a receptacle having bored within it a number of cavities to hold the smoking device, tobacco, filters and cleaning rod. The cavities containing the smoking device and tobacco are accessible from the top of the receptacle and may be opened or closed by an upper cover. The cavities containing the filters and cleaning rod are accessible from the bottom of the receptacle and may be opened or closed by a lower cover.

Abstract: A sling for supporting one or more smoking pipes in a secure manner with the pipes being readily removable from the sling and easily placed into the sling. The sling is provided with a loop structure for receiving a belt to support the sling at the waist region of a wearer or alternatively, the sling may be supported by a neck or shoulder encircling strap or throng or by other suitable means. The sling includes a main body member of leather or equivalent flexible material having some degree of rigidity in order to be shape sustaining with the lower end of the body member being reversely folded to provide a pipe retaining member which together with the body member defines a vertically opening pocket for receiving the bowl portion of one or more smoking pipes.

A buckled strap borne by the sheath adjacent its mouth permits the sheath to be frictionally clamped to the pipe stem adjacent the bowl ensuring retention of the stem within the lining which absorbs any liquid. The strap bears a pouch holding a cylindrical plug employed in closing off the sheath absent a pipe, and a replacement liner.

Abstract: A holder for a smoking-pipe in the form of a substantially rigid or flexible sheath attachable to a support, the sheath having front and back walls defining a cavity and being sufficiently close to one another and sufficiently taut laterally and transversely that they frictionally pinch-hold a pipe stem in the cavity. An interior wall surface can have a high friction surface area, and the sheath can include tautening means to tauten the walls, to increase the frictional hold of the pipe stem.

A record retaining member, comprising a spine and an annular element, is reciprocably mounted within the cavity. A portion of the spine extends into the end access opening and a further portion of the spine protrudes beyond the edges of the jacket defining the end access opening when the record retaining member is fully inserted into the jacket. The annular element has a through opening for receiving a record. Indicia is secured to the protruding portion of the spine for associating a given side of the spine with the first side of an enclosed record and the other side of the spine with the second side of the enclosed record. The record is enclosed within the package such that its first side is adjacent to the given side of the spine and its second side is contiguous to the other side of the spine.
