Abstract: A light weight, molded foot wear carrier consists of a body forming two open cavities with a dividing wall between the cavities. Each body formed cavity is open on a top end there of for easy footwear insertion. The carrier has straps, which may be adjustable, to hold the footwear in a secure position inside the carrier, with one strap extending across each opening for each cavity. The footwear is held upright for ease of insertion and removal. The straps may be formed as elastomeric straps that may be adjustable to hold footwear of various geometries.

Abstract: A method of providing a garment (10) includes the steps of packing the garment (10) in a packaging container (12), and at least partly evacuating the container (12), and sealing the container (12), the method including providing within the packaging container (12), an extra item (20) being one of a hygienic wipe, a sanitary pad, and a condom, the extra item being provided in its own packaging material.

Abstract: A garment enclosure is disclosed having top and bottom panels, first and second side panels, and first and second end panels. The enclosure has a longitudinal axis and an unfolded length. First and second cylindrical members are connected to the top panel and oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. First and second extensible panels are connected to the bottom panel at locations adjacent respective first and second cylindrical members. The extensible panels are extensible in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the garment enclosure. The extensible panels are not connected to the first and second side panels, so that when a garment is placed within the enclosure and the enclosure is folded about the first and second cylindrical members, the extensible panels extend longitudinally to prevent binding of the garment at the fold points. The elimination of binding substantially eliminates wrinkling of the garment. A method of using the garment enclosure is also disclosed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a brassiere travel and storage system and method to facilitate storing a plurality of padded brassieres such that the cups of the brassieres do not degenerate and/ or become crushed during storage, such as when a person travels. A container that is capable of situating and positioning the one or a plurality of brassieres in a predetermined position, such as an angled position, so that the brassieres or at least a portion of them can be viewed for identification and selection by a user. The storage system and method is adapted to be received in a suitcase an is capable of protecting the plurality of brassieres stored therein so that they do not become crushed or deformed from storage. The container is also capable of receiving undergarments, bra straps and other items in the storage areas provided in the interior of the container.

Abstract: A packaged garment includes a garment and a sealed bag. The garment has a torso portion, a sleeve portion connected to the torso portion, and a leg portion connected to the torso portion. The garment has an outer surface and an inner surface opposite the outer surface. The sealed bag contains the garment with the sleeve portion folded onto the torso portion, a portion of the sleeve portion folded at least once underneath the sleeve portion between the sleeve portion and the torso portion, and the leg portion folded onto the torso portion. The garment is manipulated so that the inner surface of the torso portion faces outward and the torso portion forms an inner space containing the sleeve portion and the leg portion.

Abstract: A temporary storage sleeve for holding an article of clothing comprising a front wait and a generally parallel back wall. The front wall and the back wall are spaced at a distance and interconnected along at least two edges forming a first side wall and a second side wall. The sleeve is open along at least two edges. The sleeve further comprises a releasable closure mechanism for securing the first wall relative to the back wall and at least partially occluding at least one of the at least two openings. One of the side walls includes at least one pleat, the pleat movable to an extended configuration greater than the spaced distance.

Abstract: A display unit for combining a first and second fabric fashion accessory such as a necktie includes a substrate having first and second panels arranged along an axis, a fold at the union of the first and second panels, a first hole disposed proximate to or at the fold in the substrate, and a securement that holds the first and second panels to one another to preserve the fold, a hanger seated in the first hole comprising a hook and a downwardly depending neck, and a flap attached to the first panel, the flap capable of extending around the entire display unit to be secured to the back of the first panel. A method for combining fabric fashions is provided as well.

Abstract: A container designed principally for footwear has a corrugated liner board or fiberboard base and a thermoformed plastic lid that is securely attached to the base. The lid is preferably clear so that the contents of the container may be seen through the lid. The lid is attached to the base with a series of tabs that engage cooperatively formed openings in the base and the lid has side edges that engage the edges of the base. The lid is secured in the closed position with tabs formed on the forward edge of the lid that engage openings in the base. The inventive container protects articles held therein during shipping and storage, and displays the articles both before and after sale.

Abstract: An article for holding and displaying a neck tie that includes a narrow end and an opposite broad pointed end includes a base portion and an insert. The base portion has a compartment for receiving and holding the folded neck tie and is open along a top thereof. The insert has a pair of upstanding leg portions and a top wall that extends between the upstanding leg portions. The top wall has a pointed slit formed therein that defines a depressable tab portion. The insert is inserted into the base portion such that the folded neck tie is disposed between the upstanding leg portions and a space is formed between a first end of the insert and one end wall of the base portion through which the neck tie extends. The neck tie is folded across the top wall and through the slit such that the broad pointed end of the tie is disposed with the compartment of the base portion underneath the insert.

Abstract: A protective garment configured to facilitate easy donning of the garment is described. The garment includes one or more foreshortening structures within the garment that allows for the arms and legs to be shorted into a donning configuration. This allows the garment to be handled and donned by the wearer, without the wearer touching an exterior surface of the garment or allowing any portion of the garment to touch another surface. A method of preparing a protective garment for donning and a method of donning such a garment is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a container for controlling odor and scent incident upon a hunter's clothing stored prior to hunting to prevent the stored items from contamination with a human scent and as well inhibit human scent on the clothing escaping from the container. The container includes an open-topped housing and a lid removably connectible to the housing to form an enclosed accessible interior chamber. A check valve in communication with the interior chamber is connected to a vacuum pump for withdrawing air and reducing the pressure in said chamber to a value significantly lower than atmospheric pressure. A sheet or liner of activated carbon is disposed within the interior for adsorbing scents. The present container can be used to store household items, bridal accessories and gowns as well as other various and sundry items where odors are to be prevented.

Abstract: A reusable stackable storage container for housing, organizing and/or displaying at least one item including a top side casing, a bottom side casing, a first cup-like protrusion formed on the top side casing, a second cup-like protrusion formed on the bottom side casing, and at least one sidewall formed to the bottom side casing, where a cavity between the first cup-like protrusion and the second cup-like protrusion is adapted to receive the at least one item when the container is closed. The container further may comprise a selectively engageable fastening mechanism formed on the top side casing and bottom side casing to open and close the container. A support structure may be formed on a sidewall to provide additional support when the container is standing vertically on the at least one sidewall. Two or more containers can be nestably stacked one into the other, the first cup-like protrusion of one container fitting into the second cup-like protrusion of another container.

Abstract: A foldable, rectangular, protective lingerie case with internal coupleable and removable protuberances, that is resistant to pressure. The protective lingerie case is semiflexible, foldable and manufactured in fabrics or leathers with polypropylene reinforcement and foam layers on all four sides and on the upper lid. It stores, transports, protects and conserves the shape of lingerie, especially of brassieres, in closed and narrow spaces, ensuring that the initial shape of thermoformed brassieres is kept intact. The protective lingerie case safeguards the bra's function and use features by avoiding deformation of the stored garment and guaranteeing its durability and design.

Abstract: In a boots, wash bag and outer container combination, the boots have a lined interior of thin, waterproof nylon material, and are of a rollable, stretchable, waterproof, washable material, and have a waterproof zipper for slipping the boots on and off. The soles of the boots are honeycombed so they will not collect stones and dirt and add slip resistance. The wash bag is rectangular-shaped and is of rollable, waterproof, washable material, It has an upper zippered opening for receipt and holding a pair of boots, a plurality of outer snaps, and, a loop for hanging the bag. The outer container, also rectangular, is of rollable, waterproof, washable material. The container has an envelope-shaped closing flap for receipt and containment of the boots-containing bag, a strap, depending from the flap with a clip thereon, a strap depending from the container with a mating clip, internal snaps for mating with the bag snaps to hold the bag in place within the container, and, a loop for hanging the container.

Abstract: Transferable organizers provide stabilization and ease of location for objects carried in handbags and other bags. The organizers may be independently usable and freestanding, and may be inserts inside an existing bag. At least some walls of the organizer are substantially rigid to protect the contents, make the organizer freestanding, or to conform to the dimensions of the existing bag. At least one wall of each organizer may be expandable by means of an expansion panel that can be stowed when expansion is not needed using a fastener, such as a zipper, snap, or magnetic connection. Expansion panels enable adjustment of the width, length, or height of the organizer. A eyeglass case includes an inwardly extending lip that curls over the lens of the glasses and is adjacent a rigid front section. A shoe organizer includes a cushion flap and a stabilizing flap that protects and positions the shoes.

Abstract: Footwear having plastic or rubber soles and having molded protruding hang tabs from the soles for use in the pairing of footwear together. Each sole having a plurality of protruding hang tabs molded at spaced-apart positions along a perimeter edging of the sole. The plurality of hang tabs includes a first hang tab positioned on the toe end of the sole, a second hang tab positioned on the heel end of the sole, a third hang tab positioned on the inside section of the sole, and/or a fourth hang tab positioned on the outside section of the sole. One or more of the hang tabs have plastic fasteners and the like attached thereto for connecting a pair of the soles together. The hang tabs are being removable from the soles after purchase by cutting off each hang tab from the perimeter edging of the sole.

Abstract: A garment bag with an end opening and a flap for covering the end opening has an interior pad located within the end opening which pad may be deployed outwardly to provide a foot-changing surface. The interior pad is preferably of a size and dimension which is larger than the opening in the end of the garment bag. In cases where the flap is provided with a peripheral fastening means along its outer edge, the interior pad is preferably of a size and dimension which will allow it, when deployed, to overlie and cover not only the end flap but also the peripheral fasting means along the outer edge of the end flap. The changing surface may be either rubberized or carpeted, and a pad may sufficiently long as to be folded over to substantially cover the changing surface when the pad is stored within the end opening of the bag.

Abstract: A trunk houses an infant outfit and infant blanket appointed to clothe and swaddle a newborn infant on the momentous journey home from the hospital. A memorabilia system and method are thereby provided for memorializing and commemorating the infant's first journey home from the hospital. The retaining member allows supplemental bag to hang on an outside wall of the main bag. An existing storage bag can have a bracket configured to extend partially along an inside portion of a side wall of the briefcase. The bracket has a hook-portion to extend out of the top of the briefcase and partially along the outside portion of the side wall of the briefcase and a retaining member. This configuration also allows a supplemental bag to be attached to the retaining member to hang along an outside wall of the bag.

Abstract: Packaging for shoes provides an open tray fitting within a clear bag. The tray is sized to support the shoes and protect them from crushing while the bag allows the shoes to be viewed by the consumer within the bag.

Abstract: A hanging display package for an article of apparel. The display package comprises a rear panel having opposed side edges that define a first width. A pair of flaps project laterally outwardly from each of the opposed side edges. A front panel has opposed side edges defining a second width that is narrower than the width of the rear panel. The bottom edge of the front panel is substantially centered along and hingedly connected to the rear panel. An aperture is formed through the front panel for receiving a garment hanger. When a garment is placed on the garment hanger, the laterally projecting flaps are folded inwardly to fold the garment inward, and the rear panel is folded upwardly to fold the garment upward, a compact hanging display package is formed.

Abstract: A luggage item is convertible from a duffle bag form to a garment bag form by disengaging duffle end panels from the lateral sides of the garment bag and folding those end panels against the inside of the garment bag. Various arrangements of handles and carry straps are disclosed which facilitate transport of the luggage item as a duffle bag or a garment bag.

Abstract: A bra storing case comprises a left casing and a right casing, which each have respectively a breast contour concave, which are symmetrical to each other for storing breast cups. Inner sides of the left and right casings are connected together to form a foldable shape. When the bra storing case is folded, the interior surfaces of the stored breast cups are covered completely. Lateral sides of the left and right casings have disposed thereon a clasping means. After being folded, the left and right casings are clasped by the clasping means, and the breast contour concaves protrude outward from the exterior surfaces of the left and right casings. The case structure is applicable to storing and placing the strapless, backless bra cups.

Abstract: This invention provides a simple means for a user to determine the weight of a container with its contents before lifting or transporting it, therefore increasing safety for the user, as back strain and other physical discomforts can result from the repetitive lifting and prolonged carrying of containers that are too heavy. Furthermore, the claimed invention is a container with a built-in scale that allows a traveler on a commercial airline, train, bus or watercraft, to determine the weight of container with its contents so that the traveler can compare the weight of the of the container to baggage weight restrictions prior to departure, therefore, saving the traveler time and money.

Abstract: An enhanced mask system including a mask portion, for covering the nose, mouth and lower face of a wearer. The mask portion has an inner surface for being closer to the wearer and an outer surface for being further from the wearer. A head covering or balaclava is secured to the mask portion and a pocket secured to the inner surface of the mask portion removably contains the head covering or balaclava when in its secured position. The mask can be worn by the wearer either with the head covering or balaclava on the wearer's head in a deployed position or without the head covering or balaclava on the wearer's head and stowed in the pocket in the secured position.

Abstract: A suitcase includes a housing having a plurality of sides defining a cavity therebetween wherein one side is removably disposed along a bottom surface of the housing. The suitcase includes a first elongated and flexible handle secured to select ones of the sides defining a grip portion and a second flexible handle disposed subjacent to the first handle and attached to a top of one of the sides. The suitcase further includes a mechanism for effectively determining a weight of items stored within the suitcase and a mechanism for electronically displaying the weight of the items. An internal power supply source is electrically coupled to the determining mechanism and the displaying mechanism. A plurality of casters are secured to one side and extend downwardly therefrom.

Abstract: This invention is a bag that opens down the center of its length and when filled, easily rolls up into a small package. The topside of the bag comprises two flaps that extend along the whole length of the bag and when these flaps are open, the entire inside of the bag is exposed. Once the items are packed, the flaps are pulled back over the items, and closure is obtained by zipper. At the bottom of the bag is a cylindrical accessory case. This cylindrical bag also provides an excellent cylindrical object to roll the bag around. On both sides of the bag are flaps that are designed such that when the bag is rolled, these flaps will cover the outside ends of the bag and protect the bag.

Abstract: A garment container has a plurality of panels, at least one of which has an opening formed therein. The panels are capable of containing at least one garment between them. A pocket is installed in the opening and is configured to hold a chemical composition in an interior thereof. A zipper provides access into the interior of the pocket. The pocket has a gas-impermeable front surface and a back surface perforated with vents to allow vapor from the chemical composition to pass therethrough to treat the garment contained between the panels. The back surface of the pocket may be gas-impermeable. The garment container may be a rectangular hanging bag for a single garment, a square-topped hanging bag for multiple garments, a clothes trunk, an underbed storage box or a portable closet.

Abstract: Provided is a combination of clothing articles packaged for sale. The combination comprises a shirt having a shirt collar and a necktie disposed about the shirt collar. The necktie comprises a length of fabric having first and second ends and at least one fold intermediate the first and second ends. An elastic band passes transversely to the length of fabric within the fold and is sized to be stretchably received about the shirt collar. A clip is engaged with the fabric proximate to the fold. The clip pinches the fabric so as to emulate the appearance of a tie knot. Also provided are methods for packaging a necktie and shirt combination.

Extension pieces are provided at the right and left sides of the front sheet body through bent parts. Locks are provided at the right and left ends of the extension pieces to lock the extension pieces to each other in the overlapped state. Additional extension pieces are connected at the right and left sides of the rear sheet body through bent parts having a width smaller than that of the band part. Additional locks are provided at the right and left ends of the additional extension pieces to lock the additional extension pieces to each other in the overlapped state, and a slit allows the extension pieces to be locked to each other between the rear sheet body and the bent parts.

Abstract: A shoe box having one or more integrally formed dividers extending from the end of the shoe box, with the dividers shaped and sized to extend laterally across and to be positioned between a pair of shoes within the box to secure the shoes in fixed space relation to one another. In one embodiment, one divider is integrally formed from the shoe box blank extending from one end of the box with a separate, removable insert divider having a similar function at the other end of the box.

Abstract: A holder for an apparel belt which can be used as both a display holder and as a storage package. When used in either the display mode of the storage mode, the holder protects the belt from being scratched or otherwise physically damaged. The holder has a sleeve with an opening at one end thereof for receiving the strap of the belt, and a sleeve extension attached to the open end of the sleeve which acts as a backdrop for the exposed portion of the belt when the holder is used in its display mode and acts as a cover for the buckle when the holder is used in its storage mode. In the display mode, the holder is hung on a merchandising display rack from an orifice in the free end of the sleeve extension. The sleeve extension has a means for retaining the buckle and a portion of the belt strap outside the sleeve to expose that portion of the belt. In the storage position, the buckle end of the belt is detached from the retaining means on the sleeve extension and the strap is more fully inserted into the sleeve.
