The device is essentially comprised of a flap portion and a wrap portion, with the portions being attached at a variable width interface portion. This variable width interface portion allows the wrap portion and flap portion to be easily folded over an inserted paint brush of any conventional size. The device is constructed with a durable material which will withstand multiple uses without significant wear, thus allowing the device to be used over a long period of time.

The flaps are deflectable into an arcuate configuration in which the flaps overly a portion of a mounted hairbrush. The arcuately-deflected flaps are secured by attachment to the main panel or alternatively by attachment to a mounted hairbrush below a lower edge of the main panel. The flaps may include attachment tabs receivable in openings of the main panel. Alternatively, the flaps may include openings for receiving a flexible connector for securing the flap to the main panel or to the handle of a mounted hairbrush.

The improvement further includes a top flap having a top portion selectively closing the open top of the chamber and a front portion. The improvement further includes the fastener being a snap having a male portion extending from the front portion of the top flap and a female portion extending from the front panel and selectively engaging the male portion of the snap.

Abstract: A protective holder for use with a paintbrush. The holder has a flexible sleeve that is configured to be snuggly positioned about a substantial portion of a paintbrush body. The sleeve has an aperture through which the handle of a brush may extend, and may also include absorbent material that captures liquid that dribbles down from the applicator portion of a paintbrush when the paintbrush is held vertically. The holder also has a protective, segmented skirt that is operatively connected to the sleeve and whose segments or panels may be selectively moved between a protective storage position where the skirt substantially encircles the applicator portion of a brush, and a protective use position where the skirt substantially encircles the handle of a brush. The holder also may have a fastener to maintain the skirt in either of its protective positions.

Abstract: A paint brush protecting cover using a series of folding flaps. The flaps are connected in such a way that, when folded, they force the bristles into the desired tapered configuration. The invention's primary advantage lies in its method of closure: Two elastic bands are affixed to one of the flaps. The user simply passes these bands around the folded device, thereby securing it to the paint brush. The elastic bands place a small compressive force on the brush and bristles, helping to keep the bristles in the proper orientation. The elastic nature of the closure method also allows the device to accommodate a wide variety of brushes.

Abstract: The Weekender toothbrush holder is a personal, temporary toothbrush holder designed on a flat stiff paper material ¾ by 6 inches. The card has 4 holes strategically spaced and lines scored to facilitate the necessary folding. When folded as instructed the holder has a strip of 2-sided adhesive that holds the folded area together that forms a shelf. This shelf now has a set of two holes, which can each accommodate a toothbrush. A portion of the adhesive is left exposed which can now allow the completed holder to be securely attached to any clean dry area.
