Abstract: An electromagnetic shielding carrying case comprising a front panel hingedly connected to a middle and rear panel. The front and middle panels each comprise an electromagnetic shielding member with a card holding means affixed to each. The carrying case has a closed position wherein upstanding walls of the front and rear panels are brought into engagement with one another so as to form an enclosure around the middle panel, thus shielding contactless smartcards contained within from being scanned by an RFID reader. A releasable locking means holds the front panel closed against the rear panel, and can be unlocked so the front panel pivots open, creating a first open position wherein contactless smartcards can be accessed in both card holding means. The middle panel can also be pivoted open to reveal a receptacle within the rear shell that holds paper currency or one additional card.

Abstract: A portable hand drying device incorporates a case foldable to form a vertex having an interior surface and a zipper closure for a peripheral edge. A multilayer liner having an outer permeable layer and an inner absorbing layer is attached to the interior surface of the case with hook and loop fastener and a towel, foldable to be encased within the case, is attached to the liner at the vertex.

Abstract: The present invention is a collapsible vessel and also a method of reducing waste. The collapsible vessel has a mechanism that maintains its rigidity in its expanded form, yet allows it to be collapsed when desired. The vessel also has a removable lid, and the vessel, lid, or both may carry logos or other images or indicia, particularly those of restaurant or beverage chains.

Abstract: Provided is a waterproof structure capable of facilitating positioning of a packing. A waterproof structure according to one aspect of the present invention includes a first case having a groove formed therein, a packing that is disposed in the groove, a second case that pushes the packing and forms a sealed space with the first case. The packing includes a bending part, and the groove includes a guiding part that guides a tip of the bending part to a predetermined position on the bottom surface of the groove in the first case.

The protector includes a substrate having a first surface, a second surface and an edge; a first sheet disposed on the first surface and having an edge portion; and a second sheet disposed on the second surface, wherein the edge portion of the first sheet is folded along the edge of the substrate, disposed on the second surface, and sandwiched between the second sheet and the substrate.

Abstract: A case for a mobile electronic device, such as a smartphone can be designed, for example, specifically for any version of the iPhone®. The case includes an elastic strap on the back side thereof to stabilize the device with one or more fingers while using it. The elastic strap may fit snuggly against the case when not in use, thereby not taking away from the slim form factor of the smartphone. A user can slide one or more fingers under the elastic strap on the back of the smartphone case to stabilize and secure the phone in the palm of the user, keeping the thumb free for typing. The elastic strap can pass through slots in the case and can be sewn together to form a loop or can include a hook on one end and a loop on another end to removably attach the elastic strap to the case.

Abstract: A water-resistant casing for a portable electronic device is provided. The water-resistant casing may include a front cover. The front cover may include a water-resistant film enabling a user operation of the portable electronic device through the water-resistant film, and an impact-absorbing seal to provide water resistance and impact absorption. The water-resistant casing may also include a back cover coupled to the front cover. The back cover may include a material that is at least water-resistant or impact-absorbing. The water-resistant casing may further include a sealing structure to provide a water-resistant seal, and a latching mechanism for enclosing the water-resistant casing. The water-resistant casing may further include at least one mounting point and at least one impact-absorbing structure for providing additional impact absorption.

Abstract: A protective case for a mobile device is provided, which includes a backing and a sidewall section, where the sidewall section has four sides and is coupled to the backing such that a cavity is formed when the backing and the sidewall section are attached. The protective case also includes a geometry seal located inside of the cavity, where the geometry seal is configured to form a lower waterproof seal with the sidewall section and the backing. Furthermore, the protective case also includes a top section, which forms an upper waterproof seal with the sidewall section and the geometry seal, thereby allowing the protective case to provide a waterproof seal around the mobile device.

Abstract: A mechanical device for the disposal of consumed chewing gum includes a base having a recessed flanged collar at its top to accommodate a cap. The device further includes a rubber gasket, optional securing clips, a plug on the underside of the base, a paper tray, a locking insert, and a dispensing paper pack. The cap is fitted to the base by placing, snapping, or screwing the cap over the recessed flanged collar on the base. The cap has an opening traversing its top to allow the withdrawal of a single paper sheet to wrap consumed chewing gum for disposal. The paper tray is attached to the inside bottom portion of the cap. A gasket is mounted to the top inside portion of the base below the flanged collar for disposal of gum into the base cavity. The case can be emptied by removing the plug on the underside of the base.

Abstract: A transaction card holder includes an external housing having a carrying plate that is received and retracted into the external housings internal cavity. A guide slot along the top surface of the external housing accepts a slide post therethrough which engages the carrying plate at a fixed position. Movement of the slide post along the guide slot allows for the carrying plate to be slideably engaged within the external housing. The carrying plate includes an engagement tang for easy connection and removal of transaction cards as well as a structure that facilitates easy access to cards when needed for a transaction. When the carrying plate is fully retracted into the external housing the transaction cards are stored internal to the holder. When the carrying plate is fully extended the transaction cards are easily rotated about the engagement tang both vertically and horizontally for easy visual identification of the sought after card.

The latch is latched in the latching slot to fix the pushing member in the retaining slot and compressing the elastic member. Once the lower compartment is separated from the upper compartment, the same cover flap can be used to close the remaining package by tucking the same end of the cover flap into a receiving slot formed in a front panel of the upper compartment.

Abstract: The invention relates to transaction tokens (“fobs”) having wireless functionality and methods of using the same. More specifically, fobs having radio frequency functionality such that information, such as payment information, identification information, or other like information, may be wirelessly transmitted from a memory within the fob to a receiver are disclosed. The fobs of this invention may comprise a microchip or other memory component, and/or antenna disposed on or within an insert and encased within an enclosure in an interior compartment. The fobs may have a quick-release mechanism for easily attaching to and detaching from a securing device, such as a keychain or the like. Moreover, the interior compartments of the fobs may be easily accessible for replacing the enclosed insert.

The holder comprises a ring, a snap hook type fastener attached to the ring in swivel fashion, and a rigid or semi-rigid tag suspended from the ring by a strap. In one embodiment the tag comprises two members or halves hingedly connected to each other in clamshell fashion so that the two members can be folded together and held together via hook and loop type fasteners. The glove may be secured to the holder via hook and loop type fastening surface located on the glove. Abstract: The present invention is related to an apparatus to facilitate the retrieval of a personal device from a compartment or pocket. The apparatus has a back surface with a support attached to the back surface in a manner that allows the support to move and a tab or loop on one end of the support. An elastic tape is attached to the back surface and to the support. Also attached to the support is a ribbon which is secured to the elastic tape at a connection point. The support can be extended to retrieve the personal device from the compartment or pocket which stretches the elastic tape and the ribbon until the ribbon is fully extended preventing the further extension of the support. The elastic tape may then facilitate the retraction of the apparatus into the compartment or pocket.

In one embodiment, a hollow body having a closed end and an open screw cap cooperate to hold a deformable septum having a slit or perforation such that small items may easily be inserted into the body through the slit wherein they are securely enclosed until the body is detached from the cap. The contents can then be disposed of in an acceptable manner or otherwise used. In another embodiment of the invention, the screw cap and septum are replaced by a cover closed at one end and having a slit or opening having radially disposed arms in the closed end for introducing materials into the hollow body through the slit. Larger containers may be set into cup holders for use.
