Abstract: A pet waste bags dispenser provided for dispensing animal waste bags, having a collapsible container, a dispenser cavity cover and a dispensing means, wherein the dispensing means allows waste bags placed within the waste bags dispenser to be dispensed to a user easily and conveniently. The collapsible waste bags dispenser is made of a collapsible material, such that the dispenser is easy to store, light in weight, simple to manufacture, and has the flexibility to contain different amounts of waste bags within the collapsible container, wherein rolls of or individually wrapped waste bags are allowed to be dispensed. The collapsible waste bags dispenser further has external connecting means for connecting the waste bags dispenser to a foreign object, so as to facilitate the user to easily obtain a waste bag from the dispenser.

Abstract: A pet waste bags dispenser includes a pouch body, a pouch cover, means for detachably attaching the front cover edge of the pouch cover on the front wall of the pouch body, and a bag dispenser, wherein the bag dispenser allows waste bags placed within the waste bags dispenser to be dispensed to a user easily and conveniently. Abstract: A process for manufacturing bags and the resulting bag are disclosed. The bags may be continuously and detachably connected, and continuously and detachably connected bags may be wound onto a roll. In addition, a dispenser is disclosed for storing and dispensing bags. Also disclosed is an apparatus for use in dispensing plastic bags. A dispensing system is disclosed for continuously and detachably connected series of bags and in which the removal of a bag results in the subsequent bag in the series being at least partially opened.

Abstract: A ribbon of packaging comprises individual packages (11) adjacently and separably arranged for separation prior to filling. The ribbon is preferably drawn under tension from a reel, and the packages are linked by mechanical couplers (FIG. 11) which are separable in a direction orthogonally to the traction force. The packages have a closure (FIG. 8) which is removed and replaced to permit filling. Also disclosed are preferred package couplers, and filling and dispensing arrangements.

Abstract: In a carrier tape for supplying an electronic part to an electronic part mounting apparatus for taking out the electronic part from a tape feeder to mount to a board, a tail side connecting portion having a cutout portion is provided to a tail side of the carrier tape mounted to the tape feeder, a front side connecting portion having a chipped portion is provided to a head side of the carrier tape to be used newly, respectively, and in tape splicing operation when a reel is interchanged, the cutout portion is fitted to the chipped portion and adhesive tapes are pasted thereon from two upper and lower faces thereof. Thereby, the tail side connecting portion and the head side connecting portion can be positioned in a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction of the tape and held to each other and can efficiently be connected without using an exclusive connecting jig.

Abstract: Dilator dispensers and mounting apparatus and methods of dispensing and mounting nasal dilators to enable dilation to external tissue are provided. An apparatus may be used with a variety of types and sizes of dilator devices, including traditional elongate dilator devices for humans and animals such as horses, dogs and the like. A compact, portable, protective dilator dispenser is provided so that a user may readily access and apply a dilator device at any time. A combined apparatus including a dilator dispenser and a mounting aid is provided for a dilator device so that a dilator device may be quickly, easily and accurately applied by a user.

Abstract: A container is constructed for storing bulk material, and more specifically welding electrode, that incorporates layers of substantially dissimilar materials. A first layer of material provides rigidity to the container, while a second layer of material provides a vapor barrier for restricting moisture from entering the container. The container walls may be configured such that a vapor barrier is disposed between the rigid container walls.

Abstract: A storage system comprising two or more pouches, joined sequentially pouch-lip to pouch-lip by a flexible coupling portion, wherein each coupling portion flexes to permit manipulation of the joined set of pouches, combines advantageous modes of storage, display and access, such as paging, tipping/fan, accordion, parallel, push down, reverse parallel, and pull up modes, with a greatly simplified manufacturing process. The storage system is a very versatile product, suitable for use with a wide variety of inserts, whether planar or non-planar objects, solids or liquids, and for a wide variety of uses to improve identification, retrieval or dispensing of stored inserts.

Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing garbage bags is described herein. The apparatus includes one or more sides, a bottom, connected to the sides, and a top, connected to the sides. The top includes a slit flap and one or more hole flaps. The slit flap defines a slit. Each hole flap defines a hole and overlaps the slit flap so that the hole is centered on the slit and garbage bags are dispensed through the slit and the hole when the top is closed. The garbage bags may be dispensed, one at a time, from the center of a vertical, upright roll of garbage bags.

Abstract: In a continuous strip of containers, the latter are distributed stepwise from one another according to a longitudinal axis of the strip, two adjacent containers being separated by a step. From one longitudinal edge zone traction pins protrude laterally that are intended in use to interact by contact with an advancing device for advancing the strip. For each traction pin a corresponding opposing projection is prearranged that protrudes from the opposite side of the longitudinal edge zone. The strip is designed to be conveyed along an advancing direction that is parallel to a longitudinal axis thereof. Each opposing projection is located slightly forward in relation to said advancing direction, compared with the relative traction pin, at an axial distance that is shorter than the step between the containers.

At least the first and second contiguous separable sheet of product has at least one indicium that bears a predetermined relationship when the first sheet is the outer most sheet of the rolled product. The predetermined relationship is such that a discontinuity of the indicium is likely to be formed between the outer edges of sheets marked with the indicium and the portion of the indicium which lies directly beneath the outer edge of the sheets. The rolled product can include sheets of contiguous separable product having multiple indicium.

Abstract: A process for assembling wave-cut trash bags for overlapping dispensing includes the steps of providing a flattened blown-film polymeric tube; providing sets of closely spaced, parallel seals extending across the entire width of the flattened blown-film polymeric tube at periodic intervals there along; providing a transversely extending line of perforations between the seals comprising each set of closely spaced, parallel seals; and providing a wave shaped line of perforations extending transversely across the entire width of the flattened blown-film polymeric tube at a location equidistance between adjacent closely spaced, parallel sets of seals. The flattened blown-film polymeric tube is separated along each transversely extending line of perforations and along each wave shaped line of perforations after which the leading end of each following trash bag is positioned in an overlapping relationship with the trailing end of the preceding trash bag to facilitate overlapping dispensing.

A plurality of body portions are stamped from the continuous web so that each of the plurality of face masks has one body portion. A plurality of left extension portions are stamped from the continuous web so that each of the body portions has one left extension portion integrally attached thereto. A plurality of right extension portions are stamped from the continuous web so that each of the body portions has one right extension portion integrally attached thereto. A dispenser assembly for dispensing face masks is also provided. The assembly includes a core and a roll of face masks that are rotatably disposed on the core. As least one of the face masks includes a body portion and left extension portion that is integrally attached to the body portion. A right extension portion is integrally attached to the body portion.

Abstract: A roll mounted T-shirt bag, method for making and dispenser for same are described. The bag is designed for fresh produce and includes front and rear panels, first and second side gussets, a bottom seam, a top seam and a U-shaped cutout forming an openable bag mouth and a pair of carrying handles. The bags are joined above and below the upper and lower seams at first and second perforation lines. The bags are wound onto a cylindrical core to form a compact roll. In a variant of the invention, the bags are folded inwardly from the side edges prior to rolling onto the core to form a more compact roll. A method is described for forming the bags from an extruded tube of plastic film material. Dispensers are described that are designed to hold the roll mounted bags in both folded and unfolded form. The dispensers include a separating tongue designed to engage the U-shaped cutout.

Abstract: This novel cushioned container consists of an inner tube in which an item is located and concentric outer tube resiliently connected to the inner tube. The inner tube is evacuated by a hose located therein after which the hose is closed off. The outer tube is then inflated by a hose to provide a cushioning chamber surrounding the enclosed item. The hose connected to the outer chamber is then closed off to prevent air from leaving the cushioning chamber.

The pizza delivery system includes a tape dispenser for dispensing numbered pieces of tape used to seal a box in which fresh pizza has been placed for delivery to a consumer. The pizza delivery method generally provides for sealing the pizza box with a piece of numbered tape, reporting the number on the piece of tape to the consumer at the time the order is placed, and permitting the consumer to refuse the pizza if the piece of tape has been broken or removed prior to delivery of the pizza thus insuring the pizza has not been tampered with during delivery of the pizza.

Abstract: A lotion applicator includes an elongated, substantially planar strip constructed with a pliable, non-absorbent foam material. Adjacent each end of the strip is an aperture for receiving a user's finger or thumb. A user can apply lotions, ointments and similar viscous substances to otherwise inaccessible areas of the user's body by placing the viscous substance onto the strip. A user then grasps the strip by inserting a thumb or finger from each hand into each of the apertures. The user can then easily maneuver the strip across the back or other hard to reach locations of the user's body.

The bags are separated by sealed seams and perforations at their bottoms and by non-coinciding perforated lines at their mouths. The cohesive elements typically are in the form of rectangles for example those along the end edges and the fold lines having a length of about 0.9 cm with space in between them of about 1.3 cm. The cohesive patterns along the side edges may be spaced from each other not only in a dimension parallel to the end edges, but also where cohesive patterns are provided on opposite faces of the second panel of the intermediate, they may be positioned so as not to overlap in a dimension parallel to the side edges.

The bags are folded longitudinally and rolled switch an upper portion of each bag located above a lower portion of a succeeding bag. The compact roll of bags is placed in a tray like dispenser with the upper end of the outermost bag extending over either of the font or back wall of the dispenser. As the upper portion of the first bag is pulled from the roll, the bag roll will rotate, presenting the succeeding bag for dispensing after the first bag is removed. In a variant of the invention, the rolled bags are gusseted T-shirt style shopping bags. These T-shirt bags have top and bottom seals, gusseted sides, a U-shaped cutout at the top seam, an open mouth and a pair of bag handles. Variations of the dispenser include a simple tray or box with an top, and various designs of wireform trays. In other variants, the dispenser includes a bag guide extending from a front wall of the dispenser to a rear wall of the dispenser.

Abstract: A dispenser for trash container liners including a rigid triangular box containing a supply of liners in the form of a cylindrical roll of a continuous strip of liners. The liners extend through an open slot in a side of the box and the innermost liner of the roll is securely attached to a cylindrical spindle on which the liners are wound. The box is detachably secured to the bottom of the trash container and the spindle is dimensioned so as not to pass through the slot. Accordingly, when the last liner in the box is used and removed from the container, the box is removed as well.

Abstract: An assembly of a plurality of material-containment devices is provided in roll or stack form. The individual material-containment devices have a material for absorbing waste product and a flexible bag. The bag may be everted through its opening after use to contain the absorbent material and waste. The individual devices each also have a hand-receiving structure for receiving a user's hand during use. Connection structure is associated between each device to interconnect the plurality of devices in an array or stack form. Additionally, the bag openings are non-parallel to the connection structure to facilitate use of the devices. The individual devices may each also have a closure structure for closing and sealing the everted bag after use and prior to disposal.

The method includes providing a flattened tube of thermoplastic material oriented in a generally longitudinal direction. The flattened tube has a first longitudinal side edge, a second longitudinal side edge, and a transverse heat seal. The tube has first, second, and third sections. The second section is disposed between the first and third sections. The first section is joined to the second section along a generally longitudinal first fold line. The second section is joined to the third section along a generally longitudinal second fold line. A generally rectangular hole is cut through the second section. The generally rectangular hole has a top edge and a bottom edge. The generally rectangular hole is contained transversely between the first and second fold lines.

Abstract: There is a disposable multi-layered pad for personal hygiene and disease protection comprising a pair of overlaying envelope 1, 2 detachably joined over inner abutting surfaces 1A, 2A. One of the envelopes 2A has lateral dimensions to encase the four finger digits of the human hand and the other 1A of the envelopes is dimensioned to encase the thumb. On separation during use of the pad the envelopes can function in the manner of a glove to protect the user when grasping contaminated objects. The envelope material forming the outer layers 1B, 2B of the pad being sufficiently soft, pliant and absorbant to be suitable for wiping the rectum after a bowel movement and the envelope material forming the inner abutting layers 1A, 2A being sufficiently tough and impermeable to form a contamination and moisture barrier during grasping and wiping operations.

Abstract: Easy open, plastic bags for dispensing from either a roll or a carton that include a plurality of easy open, plastic bags formed by a pair of overlying sheets. Each bag has an expandable gusset near one end thereof. The one end of each bag is respectively connected to a filling end of the next bag, by detaching perforations. Each bag further has a plurality of throughbores that are aligned and extend thereacross for facilitating opening thereof. The plurality of throughbores in each bag are disposed parallel to, and slightly inward of, the detaching perforations of a respective bag. The plurality of throughbores in each bag extend through either only one sheet of the pair of sheets, both sheets of the pair of sheets and in alignment with each other, both sheets of the pair of sheets and offset from but touching each other, or both sheets of the pair of sheets and offset from and not touching each other.

Abstract: A continuous web of bags formed of a plurality of layers to be separated along a line of perforations that extends through all of the layers transverse of the web, in which at least one of the outermost layers is detached from the web at the separation line. Apparatus accomplishes this detachment in a moving web by engaging the outermost layer outer surface and exerting a force in a manner to produce the detachment from the separation line. Both the outermost upper and lower web layers can be detached at the separation line.

Abstract: A bandolier splice assembly 10 includes at least two bandoliers 20 connected by a splice member 30. Each bandolier 20 includes a bandolier strip with electrical contacts 20 secured at regular intervals by retaining sections 23. The splice member 30 is inserted into the trailing end of a first bandolier and into the leading edge of a second bandolier so that the electrical contacts 24 can be continuously fed to an assembly machine or operating station without any down time for changing bandoliers 20. The flat splice member 30 includes resilient legs 33 separated from the remaining body of the splice member 30 by slots. Each leg 33 includes a tooth 37 with inclined camming surface 38 for deflecting the flexible leg 33 and a gripping surface 39 to engage endmost retaining sections 23. A splice stop member 36 positions the two bandoliers 20 relative to each other so that the electrical contacts continue to spaced on the same regular intervals for sequential input to an operational station or machine.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for packaging planar container carriers. A package of fan folded container carriers having a carton with vertical walls and a moveable platform positioned with respect to a bottom of the carton. Stacks of fan folded planar container carriers are then positioned in the cartons using a method for packaging wherein each stack of fan folded planar container carriers are secured with dividers positioned within the cartons. At least one carton is positioned on a base of the package to accommodate at least one additional stack of container carriers. The method is performed so that the package accommodates successive stacks of container carriers to form a generally continuous strip of container carriers.

Abstract: A plurality of wipe-containing moisture-resistant flapped envelopes are interconnected end-to-end to form a train of envelopes stored in roll form and containing wipes or towelettes treated with cleanser or other skin-treating agent. Each flap is held closed in the roll until the flap's associated envelope is unrolled from the end of the roll, whereupon the flap falls open and the envelope's contents may be easily removed without any need for peeling or unzipping the flap.

Abstract: In the production of mailer type business forms, particularly from a web in a roll configuration having a plurality of business form intermediates, with pressure sensitive cohesive, the problem of cohesive blocking (sticking together) at inopportune times is avoided by spacing substantially linear patterns of the cohesive disposed in the detachable side edges of the intermediates so that when the intermediates are in the roll configuration the cohesive from one intermediate does not engage the cohesive from another. Preferably the cohesive patterns on one face of the intermediate are spaced from the parallel cohesive patterns on the second face of the intermediate by about 1-15 mm, preferably about one centimeter.

Abstract: A resealable pack having a body portion formed substantially of flexible sheet material and defining an article-receiving cavity. The body portion comprises a first end defined by an end wall and tapers to a second end spaced apart from the first end. The body portion also comprises a face in which is defined a dispensing opening. A resealable sealing member is secured to the body portion and, in a closed position, covers the opening in sealing contact with the body portion around the periphery of the opening. A plurality of sheet-form articles is disposed within the cavity in the form of a flattened roll, with one end of the roll being capable of extending through the opening.

Abstract: A multi-ply plastic bag from a continuous strip of bags on a roll is supplied to a user with the top of the bag partially opened. A tear line between the bottom of a leading bag and a top of a subsequent bag separates the individual bags. A broad slit centrally located in the tear line passes through all but one ply of the strip of bags. The bag dispenser has an upwardly projecting tongue which engages the slit in the tear line when a user draws a bag from the dispenser. The tongue impedes the subsequent bag from moving forward. The adjacent bags separate along the tear line. The ply which does not have a slit rides over the tongue and pulls apart the plies at the opening of the subsequent bag before the leading bag completely separates from the subsequent bag.

Abstract: A coil of an interconnected chain of open bags is provided in which the coil has a center opening having a diameter at least as great as the transverse dimension of the bags. A dispenser is provided on which a coil of bags is mounted. An end of the chain is pulled from the center opening and fed around a tapered mandrel and thence over a feed control mandrel oriented in angular relationship with the tapered mandrel. The web is then fed to a bagging machine for dispensing, loading and closing of the bags. The table on which the coil is mounted is rotatable so that the orientation of a span of bags running from the coil to the tapered mandrel remains substantially constant as the web is fed.

Abstract: A hinged access display and dispensing device for lottery-type tickets includes a housing of box-like configuration with a main door that is pivotally attached to the housing. A lock having a swing arm is secured to the main door. A slot is provided in the housing to coact with the swing arm when the main door is in the closed position to allow the main door to be locked relative to the housing. A horizontal opening is provided in the main door to allow access to tickets placed in the housing. A security door is pivotally attached to the main door to prevent removal of tickets through the horizontal opening. The security door is provided with a lip having a slot so that the swing arm may secure both the main door and the security door relative to the housing.
