Abstract: A wrapping film holding device is provided on a surface (3b) of a wrapping film container (1) on which a pullout opening (3a) is formed for pulling out a wrapping film 10 such as to face the pullout opening (3a), always energizes the wrapping film (10) pulled out through the opening (3a) toward a direction departing from the surface (3b) so that space (S) is secured between the pulled out wrapping film 10 and the surface 3b. The space (S) separates the wrapping film (10) from the surface (3b). The holding device comprises a plate spring (12) for always energizing the pulled out wrapping film (10) toward the direction departing from the surface (3b), and adhesive provided on tongs (12a, 12b) of the plate spring (12) for allowing the wrapping film (10) to adhere on or to electrostatically contact with the top surfaces of the tongs (12a, 12b).

The coil of desoldering wick is a spiral having a conical shape approximately complementary to the end of the housing. Alternatively, the coil may be a helically wound spool of wick in a somewhat more elongated tubular housing. The end of the wick extending through the tube is drawn from the center of the coil. The tube may be metal or plastic and may be a continuous or split tube, or formed from a helically coiled wire. The wick is manipulated by the tube when used.

Abstract: A package comprises a layered coil of filament strands, and a multilayer film surrounding, and in direct contact with, the layered coil of filament strands. The coil has an outer surface comprising a bottom surface region, a side surface region, and a top surface region. The film has an inside surface comprising ionomer in direct contact with the side surface region of the layered coil of filaments. The strand material preferably comprises glass fiber and the sleeve preferably comprises a multilayer film having an outer layer comprising ionomer. Preferably, the film has a stiffness sufficient to maintain structural integrity of the package as the strands are being removed in order to prevent collapse of the side walls of the package and entanglement of the strands.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing sheet material includes a housing having a chamber configured to hold sheet material and an access door configured to provide both access to the chamber and closure to the chamber. The housing includes a dispensing member supported by the access door. The dispensing member has a first panel and a second panel. At least one panel moves so that the opening in the first panel and the exit port in the second panel align to permit sheet material to be threaded therethrough for loading, and at least one panel moves so that the opening and exit port are moved out of alignment for dispensing the sheet material. A method of installing sheet material in a dispenser.

Abstract: A band blade package that allows removal of the band blade slowly, while at the same time releasing the potential energy of the coiled assembly in a controlled manner within the package and out of harms way. The band blade is placed in the package in a manner such that a loop of the band blade is adjacent to an opening in the packaging. The band blade can be removed by placing a loop of the band blade over a peg on a building wall and grasping both sides of the band blade package. As the package is pulled down, the coiled assembly of blades uncoils within the package and the blades are dispensed.

Abstract: A desoldering wick dispenser includes a conventional wick package in the form of a bowl with a central hub and a flat cover mounted on the hub and having a gap between the edge of the cover and the outer edge of the bowl. A desoldering wick is coiled in the bowl around the hub and an end portion passes through the gap is drawn through a tube so that an end of the wick extends beyond the end of the tube. The wick is manipulated by the tube when used. In an embodiment of combined package and tube, the package has a funnel shaped housing containing a coil of desoldering wick. An end portion of the desoldering wick extends through a tube extending from the center of the housing. The coil of desoldering wick is a spiral having a conical shape approximately complementary to the end of the housing. Alternatively, the coil may be a helically wound spool of wick in a somewhat more elongated tubular housing. The end of the wick extending through the tube is drawn from the center of the coil.

Abstract: A carton is provided for packaging, shipping, and dispensing a metal-backed printing blanket onto a printing press cylinder in a controlled fashion. A lengthwise slit or opening can easily be formed in a panel of the carton from which only an end of the metal-backed printing blanket may be removed. Parallel reference lines may also be included on the carton which permit alignment marks to be drawn on the printing blanket such that it may be properly inserted into a locking device of the printing press cylinder. Graspable sides of the carton facilitate tension and alignment control as the printing blanket is dispensed onto the cylinder.

A clearance exists between an upper peripheral edge of the casing and a lower peripheral edge of the cover when the cover and the casing are closed, allowing a free end of the thread or wire in the annular chamber to locate outside the container via the clearance. Therefore, the thread or wire in the container could be easily accessed and pulled outward at the free end for use without the need of opening the cover. The container could be refilled with a new thread or wire and therefore could be repeatedly used.

Abstract: A holder (1) for a wrap dispenser (2) has a boxlike shape matched to and acceptably larger than a shape and size of a wrap dispenser that is generally square through a cross section and usually but not necessarily more or less than a foot or two long. The holder has dispenser retainers (8, 9, 11) that retain the wrap dispenser in the holder in opposition to normal pulling force to pull wrap or foil from the wrap dispenser. An ejector spring (20) on a bottom wall (5) of the holder can eject the wrap dispenser when the dispenser retainers are in a release mode. A back wall (6) of the wrap dispenser can be attached to vertical walls or to top surfaces of use-area structure. For attachment of the holder to undersides of tables, shelves and other use-area structure, a holder lid (10) can be hinged to a top of the back wall of the holder and have ends with hinged enclosure flaps (11) that snap-fasten to the ends of the holder.

Opposed inwardly-projecting end flaps hingedly connected to the bottom panel have a substantially flat abutment panel located inside the cavity of the container and located a predetermined minimum distance from an associated end of the cavity. The ends of each dispensing opening associated with large rolls are substantially aligned with the abutment panels of both inwardly-projecting end flaps. One end of each dispensing opening associated with the medium and small rolls are substantially aligned with one of the abutment panels of the inwardly-projecting end flaps.

The mating portions are configured such that when joined they form an annular package including separate inside and outside concentric annular chambers. A circumferential slit around inside and outside edges of the annular package allows access to respectively the inside and outside chambers. Two fiber guides are provided, one engaging the inside edge and the other engaging the outside edge of the package. Each fiber guide is configured such that it can slide around the edge that it engages. Abstract: A dispenser for trash container liners including a rigid triangular box containing a supply of liners in the form of a cylindrical roll of a continuous strip of liners. The liners extend through an open slot in a side of the box and the innermost liner of the roll is securely attached to a cylindrical spindle on which the liners are wound. The box is detachably secured to the bottom of the trash container and the spindle is dimensioned so as not to pass through the slot. Accordingly, when the last liner in the box is used and removed from the container, the box is removed as well.

Abstract: A centerflow rolled paper dispenser is provided in which the dispenser comprises a housing containing a spring loaded drawer member that is slidable between an open and a closed position. The dispenser includes an upper housing and a support member within said upper housing for supporting a roll of paper. Further, a lower housing is attached to the upper housing. An exit port from said upper housing to said lower housing is provided for release of rolled paper that is dispensed from the center of the roll through a predetermined dispensing orifice. Additionally, the drawer member is in substantially overlapping position with the exit port, the drawer member being spring loaded to bias the drawer member towards the open position to make loading a new roll of paper into the dispenser more convenient. A rotatable disk is provided with orifices of varying size disposed on the periphery thereof.

Abstract: A tote assembly to package, store, carry and/or dispense a length of flexible banding material coiled therein is provided. The tote assembly is fabricated from at least two pieces, of the same or different width, that are connected to form a cavity to house a banding material having a defined width. The tote assembly may be connected by one or more post and receptacle connectors and multiple tote assemblies may be stacked by a dimple and depression arrangement. The tote assembly further may include a removable buckle container and a removable cutting tool. Also provided is a method of inserting the banding material directly into a closed tote assembly through a band opening and winding the banding material therewithin.

Abstract: The present invention provides a generally box-shaped case having a removable cover and a base being made of lightweight, yet durable material The removable cover has a sunken-handle located on a top portion and a means for securely attaching the removable cover to the base. The base has an inside portion which is divided into five compartments, with three of the compartments extending on a front to back axis along side of and parallel to each other, and the fourth and fifth compartments extending from side to side along the rear of the base. A removable rod is provided extending from side to side in the interior of the base. The base has a front portion which has three holes therethrough and a measuring device.

Abstract: A system for dispensing presaturated wiper sheets for use in various industrial and manufacturing situations includes a reusable dispenser canister and at least one refill package of wiper sheets. The dispensing canister may include a receptacle base, and a lid threaded onto the base. A gasket, such as an annular disc of compressible foam material, may be interposed between the base and lid. The lid includes an integral cap unit which defines a storage well and a cap element. An aperture, through which a portion of the leading sheet extends, is defined in a bottom portion of the storage well. The well is preferably deep enough so that the wiper portion can be relatively long, without interfering with closing of the cap element. The cap unit is designed to provide a relatively tight seal when the cap element is closed. A lip protrudes up at an acute angle from a main cap portion of the cap element to facilitate opening of the cap element, even by a gloved worker.

Abstract: A strip for dispensing adhesive notes is described. The strip includes a row of at least first, second and third notes disposed consecutively in lateral alignment removably adhered to a row of at least first, second and third release sheets disposed consecutively in lateral alignment such that each note is disposed in alternate staggered relation to each release sheet. The individual note may be removed with its corresponding laterally offset release sheet in order to avoid a continuous release sheet stream at the point of dispensing. The notes and release sheets may be separated by transverse score lines, perforation lines, or lines of weakness in order to facilitate their removal from the strip. The strip may be placed in a row form and placed in a dispenser as part of a dispensing kit.

Abstract: A package of cutting tape for use in cutting a swiftly moving web of paper being spooled into a roll, and transferring the cut web to a new roll. The package includes a plurality of thin discs of wound cutting tape with each disc having one width of tape wrapped upon itself to form a large diameter disc of tape. The discs are separated from each other by spacers. The package is enclosed by a container having an opening to permit unrolling of the tape without imparting any twist thereto.

Abstract: The adhesive tape dispenser comprises a housing being provided with a unilaterally open housing body for receiving an adhesive roll of tape. The aperture of the housing body is closeable by a cover. The cover is secured to the housing body by twisting it relative to the housing body. This is effected, e.g., by means of a bayonet closure or a threaded closure.

Abstract: A center-pull dispenser nozzle includes a nozzle segment with an inner wall having a truncated cone-like configuration. A restrictor ring restricts an outlet opening of the nozzle segment. The restrictor ring engages a web passing through the nozzle and redirects and resists movement of the web at the location of the outlet opening to improve sheet separation and provide a less wrinkled dispensed sheet product.

Abstract: A box system for supporting and dispensing sand paper from a roll comprising a generally rectilinear box having upper and lower parallel rectangular faces and front and rear faces and an imperforate interior face and an open exterior face. The front face has a horizontal slot adjacent to the upper face extending inwardly from the open face to a location adjacent to the interior face. A door is provided with a large imperforate wall and small rectangular walls therearound at right angles thereto adapted to cover and close the open exterior face of the box. A hinge couples the box and door for selectively opening and closing the space within the box. A post is fixed within the space with an interior end secured to the interior face of the box for receiving a roll of sandpaper. The sand paper has a free and positionable through the horizontal slot of the box.

Abstract: A disposable towel dispenser for mounting to the exterior of a tractor or other vehicle having hydraulic couplers mounted to its exterior. The dispenser is a vertical housing of generally cylindrical shape which has a top cap which is easily removed for insertion of a roll of disposable towels within the housing. The roll of disposable towels rests on an internal platform which has a central opening from which disposable towels may be drawn downward from the center of the roll. The housing is equipped with a protruding bracket on one side which can be slid into a receiving bracket mounted on the tractor provided for mounting of a standard slow moving vehicle sign. The housing may have a receiving bracket mounted to its exterior on the opposite side from the protruding bracket for mounting of a slow moving vehicle sign to the dispenser.

Abstract: A container for holding a wound coil of filamentary material and a payout tube formed integrally with the container for engaging a payout hole formed in the wound coil from the innermost winding to the outermost winding thereof and enabling filamentary material to be paid out through the payout hole and integrally formed payout tube wherein the container has six sides formed by twelve panels within four attached sections. A first of the sections including an end panel flanked on opposite sides thereof by a portion of an upper and bottom panel, the portion of the upper panel including a portion of the integrally formed payout tube. A second of the sections including a side panel flanked on opposite sides thereof by a portion of the bottom panel and the top panel, and the portion of the upper panel including a hole forming the exit opening of the integrally formed payout tube.

Abstract: A tissue dispenser for dispensing either dry or partially wet and partially dry segments of tissues. The tissue dispenser generally comprises a housing having a tissue egress passage, a tissue source of a predetermined quantity of dry tissue located in the housing, a fluid source of a predetermined volume of fluid located in the housing, and an actuatable application mechanism in fluid communication with the fluid source and operationally positioned proximate to the tissue egress passage. The application mechanism can be actuated to dispense fluid onto the tissue as the tissue passes through the tissue egress passage. One partially wet and partially dry tissue can be used to clean and dry an article. The dispenser will dispense dry tissues if the application mechanism is not actuated while the tissue passes through the egress passage.

Abstract: The invention relates to a package for a reel of wire. The package has a cover, a connecting plate foldably connected with the cover and a bottom foldably connected with the connecting plate. The cover, the connecting plate and the bottom are able to be assembled into a package such that a reel of wire is able to be received therein and a free end of the reel of wire is able to extend through an outlet on a top face of the cover for operation and the free end is able to be retained by inserting into a retaining hole on the top face of the cover. Furthermore, a window defined on the top face of the cover enables an operator to see the volume of the reel of wire left in the package.

Abstract: An improved wire and cable packaging system for use with a spool wound with wire rotatable about a spiral-wrapped paper tube includes a container and a unitary insert, disposable in the container, both made of cardboard. The container includes a pair of retaining flaps and a pay-out slot for dispensing the wire. The insert is adapted to fit inside the container and is provided for receiving and supporting the tube when assembled. The insert includes a base with a pair of end walls extending vertically from opposing ends of the base. The end walls each having a support flap extending therefrom that is foldable about bend lines to a vertical position, adjacent the end walls, for improving support strength. The insert includes a pair of support flutes centrally formed about each bend line to define a cradle for receiving the tube.

Abstract: A round shell, flat base container with a closure end on either end, having along one side, an access lid (23) in which one accesses the interior of the container. Accessing the interior of the container reveals a removable internal axle assembly (FIG. 6) which is the rotating mechanism for dispensing and retrieving the roll sheeting. The internal axle assembly (FIG. 6) sets between the closure ends and is supported between a hand wheel and bearing assembly (FIG. 7) at one end and a slotted spindle guide (60) and friction bearing (62) at the other end. This complete assembly supports the roll of sheeting within the container and rotates it, to dispense or retrieve the sheeting. Located along the opposite side of the container is a dispensing slot lid (29), which gives access to an installed roll of sheeting when opened. This lid when closed forms a dispensing slot (26) and contains a cutting guide (28). This slot is where the roll sheeting is dispensed from or retrieved too.

Abstract: A portable bag container to hold and dispense disposable bags. The container includes a housing that has a generally hollow interior, an axle within the housing that is capable of receiving a plurality of disposable bags wrapped thereon to form a continuous roll of disposable bags, and a hanger that enables the device to releasably secure the housing to an object. The hollow interior is capable of releasably storing a plurality of disposable bags and includes an opening to allow the disposable bags to be removed from it. The hanger includes a pair of clip members connected by a bridge portion and has a pair of inwardly extending arms for attaching the clip members to the housing. The inwardly extending arms engage the ends of the axle such that the axle revolves about the arms when a disposable bag is withdrawn through the opening in the housing.

Abstract: A payout tube for enabling payout of filamentary material having inherent twist characteristics from a coil of the filamentary material wound in a figure 8 configuration with a payout hole extending from the inner layer to the outer layer of the coil, wherein the payout hole has an oval or diamond shape; an inner end of the payout tube being adapted for insertion into the payout hole and having an oval or diamond shape corresponding to the oval or diamond shape of the payout hole, the payout hole having a diameter of at least ninety degrees; the payout tube having an inner diameter increasing in size from the inner end to the outer end thereof; and a collar formed around the outer end to support the payout tube against the outer surface of a container.

Abstract: A dispenser which is mountable within a bathroom and which includes an interior deodorizing means and which contains a multiplicity of rolled disposable bags wherein the disposable bags include an antibacterial agent contained within their interior and wherein said disposable bags are serially numbered to indicate to the user when the dispenser may need to be refilled with a new roll of disposable bags and furthermore wherein said dispenser provides a hinged slotted top which provides a replacement means for replacing the rolled disposal scented bags. Furthermore the dispensing unit deodorizing means provides a means for placing a small amount of deodorant material on an exterior surface of said disposable bags preventing noxious odors when the bags are placed into a trash container.

Abstract: The present invention provides a clamshell container for storing and dispensing rolls of labels. The container has a top portion hinged along one edge to a bottom portion and a generally cylindrical shape with flanges extending along a longitudinal center plane. The bottom portion has transverse partitions providing semi-cylindrical compartments between the partitions, each compartment receiving a roll of labels. The flanges of the top and bottom portions on the ends and back have a channel, the channel comprising a U-shaped projection from the top portion which is received by a mating U-shaped recess in the bottom portion for a snap-fit, interlocking engagement of the top portion to the bottom portion. The top and bottom flanges on the front have a button for interlocking engagement of the top and bottom portions further ensuring that the container does not come open inadvertently.

Abstract: A coil of an interconnected chain of open bags is provided in which the coil has a center opening having a diameter at least as great as the transverse dimension of the bags. A dispenser is provided on which a coil of bags is mounted. An end of the chain is pulled from the center opening and fed around a tapered mandrel and thence over a feed control mandrel oriented in angular relationship with the tapered mandrel. The web is then fed to a bagging machine for dispensing, loading and closing of the bags. The table on which the coil is mounted is rotatable so that the orientation of a span of bags running from the coil to the tapered mandrel remains substantially constant as the web is fed.

Abstract: A hinged access display and dispensing device for lottery-type tickets includes a housing of box-like configuration with a main door that is pivotally attached to the housing. A lock having a swing arm is secured to the main door. A slot is provided in the housing to coact with the swing arm when the main door is in the closed position to allow the main door to be locked relative to the housing. A horizontal opening is provided in the main door to allow access to tickets placed in the housing. A security door is pivotally attached to the main door to prevent removal of tickets through the horizontal opening. The security door is provided with a lip having a slot so that the swing arm may secure both the main door and the security door relative to the housing.

Abstract: The present invention is a device for storing and dispensing flexible tubing. In one embodiment, the device comprises a first side wall, a second side wall, a rear end wall, and a front end wall having a slot formed therein. The device further comprises a spool member moveably engaged with the first and second side walls. The device further comprises a flexible tubular member having first and second end portions and a median portion. In operation, the median portion of the flexible tubular member is wrapped about the spool member and the first end portion of the flexible tubular member is dispensed through the slot of the front end wall. The device may further comprise a cover removably disposed about the first and second side walls, the front end wall and the rear end wall.

Abstract: A dispenser for a roll of sheet material which comprises a sheet material housing within which is rotatably supported the roll of sheet material. The housing can be in the shape of a box composed of a base and a lid which are hingedly connected together or can be in the shape if a cylindrical tube with access to within the housing being provided by a removable end cap. Each housing includes a longitudinal slot through which the free end of the roll of sheet material is to be conducted and located exteriorly of the housing. Mounted on the exterior surface of each housing directly adjacent each slot is a cutting shelf which is substantially the same length as the slot. The unwound sheet material is to rest on the shelf and provide a cutting surface for severing of the unwound section of sheet material from the roll.

Abstract: A dental floss dispenser is provided comprising a molded plastic housing which may be disassembled by the user to change the position of a removable cutting edge for the floss to one of two mounting positions within the housing. When the cutting edge is mounted in one mounting position, the dispensing and cutting of the thread is convenient for a right-handed user and when it is mounted in the other mounting position, the dispensing and cutting of the floss is convenient for a left-handed user.

Abstract: A raffle ticket dispenser which incorporates a holder for a continuous strip of tickets which readily dispenses a single ticket or multiple tickets. The free end of the continuous strip of tickets is fed through an opening in the holder which has a ticket locator that maintains the first ticket in the strip readily available, and provides an edge to facilitate the removal of a single ticket or multiple tickets. In addition storage compartments are attached to the ticket holder to store items associated with the sale of the tickets. This makes a convenient, portable device which is easily moved from place to place and, also, keeps all necessary items together.
