Abstract: The present invention concerns an apparatus for storing and transporting piece goods, at least comprising a bottom portion (1), side or frame portions (2, 3) arranged thereon and a plurality of substantially flexible pockets (4, 5, 14) which can be received on the bottom portion (1) and/or between the frame portions (2, 3). In order to provide an apparatus having the above-specified features in which either the compartments or pockets or the apparatus overall can be collapsed or varied relatively simply, that is to say with a low level of technical complication and expenditure and involving a small amount of time and can be set up ready with the pockets again, it is proposed in accordance with the invention that the pockets overall or at least group-wise can be put into a closely collapsed or folded condition and in that condition can be put into the housing formed from the bottom portion and the side or frame portions or can be replaced by other pockets.

Abstract: This invention is concerned with display units made by folding blanks cut from cardboard, or other flat material, into three-dimensional forms. In particular, the invention provides a brochure display unit, a gravity-fed product dispensing unit and an alternative gravity-fed product dispensing unit featuring an internal false bottom. There is provided the preferred shape of each of the at least two blanks required to form the display units. There is also provided the methods of assembling the finished units from each of the given blanks.

Abstract: A small component parts filing and inventory control system including a repeatedly resealable bag for containing small parts, the bag further including a mounting portion extending from the bag. The mounting portion is isolated from the bag cavity so that parts may not pass therethrough. The mounting portion enables the removable mounting, and the slidable repositioning, of the bag upon a rail or system of rails. The bag further may include an information bearing portion related to the parts contained within the bag, the information bearing portion showing information such as, but not limited to, two or more of manufacturer, manufacturer contact information, part description, catalog number, part identifying number, date of purchase, cost at purchase, quantity at purchase, quality, size, bar code identifier, color code identifier, or the like. Also provided are advantageous alternate constructions of the bag and of a rail system, including a novel base.

Abstract: A hanging file system that makes use of an improved hanging binder. The filing system includes a number of complementary hanging file supports, implementations and accessories. In one aspect of the present invention, the hanging binder makes use of a common center post to support a telescopic section of the hanger members. In another aspect of the present invention, hanging binder supports are designed to complement usage of the hanging binder to provide filing of loose-leaf papers, such as a hanging file sleeve provides support for portable storage of hanging file, a hanging file carrying case provides easy handling of hanging files, and a foldable hanging file base may be folded during shipment or when the case is not in use. In another aspect of the present invention, a hanging binder supports a receptacle, such as an envelope or file pocket, that provides filing of lose papers and/or articles.

Abstract: A package for the sale of image-quality printing paper facilitates digital image printing by providing blank sheets of image-quality printing paper pre-cut to accommodate image printing sizes for personal use. A rigid container is constructed and arranged to provide convenient protection, storage, display, and transportation of the blank sheets and the images subsequently printed thereon. The container may be provided with a multifunctional stand therein. Alternatively, or in addition, the container may be provided with a frame for surrounding, displaying, and holding the container.

Abstract: A packaging material includes a holding part that holds a plurality of recording sheets in a bundle without holding at least one end of the recording sheets and an extending part that extends from the holding part so as to cover at least part of one outer surface at the one end of the recording sheets that are held in the bundle by the holding part, with a friction coefficient of an inner surface of the extending part that contacts the recording sheets being approximately equal to a friction coefficient of the recording sheets. By packaging recording sheets with this packaging material, a pickup roller can come into contact with the end of the recording sheets and pick up the recording sheets one at a time while the recording sheets are still in a bundle by the holding part. In addition, the extending part is present as an underlay between the bottom plate and the final recording sheet, so that the recording sheets can be picked up one at a time right up to the final recording sheet.

Abstract: A combination storage box is constructed to include a collapsible box body, a support frame formed of two rectangular open frames and four sleeves and mounted in the collapsible box body to support the collapsible box body in shape, the rectangular open frames each having four plug rods in four corners, the sleeves being respectively sleeved onto the plug rods of the rectangular open frames to hold the rectangular open frames together, the collapsible box body having four folding flaps respectively extended along the topmost edges of four sides thereof and hook and loop materials fixedly provided at an inner side of each folding flap and adapted to secure the folding flaps to the support frame.

Abstract: An apparatus for organizing and retaining memorabilia includes a container having a front wall, a back wall, a pair of side walls and a floor. Insertable within the container is a plurality of folders, each folder having a front wall and a back wall. Each folder may be expandable. Each folder includes an inner pocket defined within it and the inner pocket of each folder may contain one or more slip pockets for holding items therewithin. Each folder may be constructed of a transparent material such that the contents of the folder are visible to the user. Each slip pocket may also be constructed of a transparent material. The container may be constructed of a number of materials and may include a container cover. The container cover may be hinged. The container may include a number of handles attached to or defined within it for assisting with transportation of the container and its contents.

Pads of data recording forms are disposed on said inner sheet associated with each board stiffener and clip devices are employed to releasably retain each pad in place. An accordion fold brief case is included on a central column and a hard surface board is included in the central column separated by a longitudinal fold plication. The pads and associated board stiffeners are disposed laterally of the central column. A hanger strap is included for hangably supporting the organizer and separate pouches and sleeves are provided for holding writing implements and ancillary items, such as pins, labels, stickers, etc.

The coiled drawing sheet retaining portion preferably is joined to and rises from the tray portion rearward end. The tray portion and the drawing sheet retaining portion preferably include two parallel and laterally spaced apart side panels which are substantially L-shaped and have side panel lower ends, and side panel forward ends and side panel rearward ends, the side panels defining tray portion and sheet retaining portion side walls; a bottom wall interconnecting the side panel lower ends; a forward wall interconnecting the side panel forward ends; and a rearward wall interconnecting the side panel reward ends.

Abstract: An expandable outside pocket is provided on one panel of a binder. This pocket includes a releasable closure to control expansion of the pocket. In one configuration, the outside pocket includes a zippered gusset, where the zipper can be closed to prevent expansion of the pocket capacity. The gusset and zipper configuration enables the pocket to be expanded when it is desired to increase the size of the pocket in order to accommodate larger items such as books, but also enables the gusset to be held in a non-extendable position when the pocket does not need to be expanded, such as when the pocket is only used to carry papers or slim folders. A second zipper is preferably also provided in order to control access to the pocket. In another configuration, the outside pocket includes gussets along its sides which facilitate expansion of the pocket, and a single zipper provides access to the pocket interior when unzipped and also enables the pocket to expand when unzipped.

Each of the front and rear wall parts extends upwardly from a respective one of front and rear edges of the base part. The lateral wall parts extend between the front and rear wall parts, and cooperate with the latter to confine a document holding space with an open top. The cover part is hinged to the rear wall part, is movable so as to cover and uncover the open top of the document holding space, and is formed with a window section that permits viewing into the document holding space when the latter is covered by the cover part.

Abstract: A method of applying repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets to moving articles includes aligning a plurality of articles for sequential movement through a sheet application station. Each article has at least two different sheet landing areas defined on a common surface thereof A repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet from a first applicator is applied at the sheet application station onto a first landing area of every other article as it passes the sheet application station. A repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet from a second applicator is applied onto a second different landing area on all of the remaining articles as they pass through the sheet application station. The resultant stack of articles formed in this way does not have all of the note sheets aligned vertically in the stack, thus reducing the overall height of the stack by dispersing horizontally the added thicknesses of the note sheets on the articles.

Abstract: A file case includes a body member for storing files therein in vertical position, a top end of the body member being opened; and a file support member attached to an upper portion of the body member and adapted to support the files such that hooks provided on upper portions of the files are hooked on the file support member. The file support member is pivotably or removably attached to the body member such that, through the file support member being pivoted outward or removed, an opening of the opened top end of the body member is expanded so as to allow a body member of another file case to be inserted into the body member. While the file support member is attached in place to the body member, a cover member is pivotably or removably attached to the body member from above.

Abstract: A transaction slip organizer system comprises a rectilinear box with an open top. A plurality of plates is located in the box. A pair of end plates comprises a rear plate having a rear face secured to the forward face of the rear wall and a front plate having a front face secured to the rearward face of the front wall. A plurality of intermediate plates is provided. The intermediate plates are located parallel with and spaced from the front and rear plates. Also provided is a plurality of dividers. Each divider has a lower edge positionable on the bottom wall of the box and an upper edge adjacent to the top of the box. Each divider has at least one lateral edge. One of the end plates defines a plurality of small chambers between adjacent dividers.

Abstract: A document holder includes a flat base part, front and rear wall parts, a pair of lateral wall parts, and a cover part. Each of the front and rear wall parts extends upwardly from a respective one of front and rear edges of the base part. The lateral wall parts extend between the front and rear wall parts, and cooperate with the latter to confine a document holding space with an open top. The cover part is hinged to the rear wall part, is movable so as to cover and uncover the open top of the document holding space, and is formed with a window section that permits viewing into the document holding space when the latter is covered by the cover part.

Abstract: A storing and transporting system for compact discs (“CD's”) for recorded audio materials and related accessory materials such as notebooks or booklets comprising an outside case of flat, clamshell configuration defining two storage areas, and one or two box-like disc containers of similar configuration to be nested in the storage areas and each having a tray-like body for holding a stack of discs in flexible storage envelopes. Guides and partitions in the case define the two storage areas and hold the stored items snugly therein, and the containers have removable retainers for holding a selected number of disc envelopes therein. Integral recessed latches hold the covers releasably in closed positions, and the case and the container are sized to receive and hold preselected numbers of discs and booklets of related materials so as to be highly versatile in use, and are provided with convenient label areas.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a compact disc storage box especially for storage of compact discs or the like mainly comprising of a hard plastic box and several plastic holders. The hard plastic box is designed alongside with side-walls for tight closing thus protecting the discs stored from light, pollution and dust for longer life span and easy management. Each of the holders has two lateral sides with eight pockets and is secured in the middle of the hard plastic box. Hence, the present invention provides a safer and easier way for storage and management and is simple and economical to manufacture.

In the storage case, the plurality of unit cases is coupled to each other with a coupling means formed in the rear panel of a forward one of adjacent unit cases and a one formed in the front panel of a rearward one so that the unit cases will be superposed on each other in the back-and-forth direction and the rearward one of the unit cases will be movable in a predetermined direction in relation to the forward one; each of the unit cases has a folding panel formed contiguously to, and along a return line at, the lower end of the rear panel; and the folding panel of the forward unit case is disposed in the pocket of the rearward unit case, namely, the front panel of the rearward unit case is disposed between the rear panel and folding panel of the forward unit panel.

Abstract: Files or file folders are held in an upright position within a partially filled storage box that is constructed of corrugated paper stock or similar sheet material by providing a plurality of stops, or file supports, that extend inwardly from either the box ends or the box sides or both box ends and sides. The file support stops may be formed from a panel that is partially cut out from a box wall leaving one end of the panel attached to the wall through a folded hinge. The other panel end is provided with a tab that locks into a tab slot in the box wall to provide a folded panel face that extends generally perpendicularly to the box wall to thereby engage and support files that are placed within the box.

Abstract: A box file is provided herein including two rigid or semirigid panels or boards connected by a spine that is likewise rigid or semirigid. The boards include a lower board which forms the back of the box file. The lower board includes, at least along one side, a rigid wall of approximately the same thickness as the spine, and, along the edge opposite the spine, a hinged flap to close the file, of the same thickness as the spine. The wall is hinged to the back, and connected at each end to locking parts that lock the wall at 90° to the back in a storage position of the file, and allow the wall to be pivoted down flat to form an extension of the back when the file is opened out for consultation of documents.

Abstract: The invention herein relates to an accordion laser disc protective folder structure, more specifically a protective folder with two lateral expanding, continuous according folding sheets, replacing the conventional loose-leaf folder or the fixed laser disc protective folder; there are accordion folding sheets on the two sides of the protective folder and several protective pockets mounted according to the interval distances of the folds for storing the laser disc; the design of the accordion folds make each of the protective pockets display discs with a proper interval distance to allow the user, when trying to remove a laser disc, only to open the cover of the protective folder to fast glance over the whole contents of all the stored laser discs and easily search for the required laser disc, therefore solving the disadvantage of the conventional laser disc protective folder which required the user to turn each page one by one.

A plurality of compact disk carrying plates are disposed in the case and opposing plates are hinged together by plate hinge segments along a spine. Abstract: A disc storage case is disclosed for storing discs in a convenient, user-friendly arrangement. The disc storage case allows users to store discs in protective sleeves which are mounted to one or more panels of the storage case rather than mounted at the center of the case. The sleeves are mounted to the panels by a holder mechanism through at least one hole in the sleeve along the sleeve edge. The disc storage case is easier to operate since the holder mechanism does not interfere with the hinge between the side panels. Additionally, the disc storage case stores the discs in a flatter design to maximize the amount of discs that may be stored in a case. The flatter design of the disc storage case of the present invention also reduces the likelihood of spilling the discs and is easier to operate in small spaces since the case does not need to be fully opened to locate and retrieve or insert discs.

Abstract: Apparatus for organizing bills has a flexible backing and a plurality of compartments for individual accounts, each compartment having an inner section for paid bills and an outer section for unpaid bills, wherein the inner section has sufficiently expansive capacity to hold all of the billings on an individual account for a twelve month period and the outer section includes a transparent window to allow viewing its contents.

Abstract: A folder having spine and two lateral faces provided on either side of the spine. At least one of the lateral faces has, at its distal end, a turned edge directed toward the other lateral face so as to ensure the stability of the folder when placed in a vertical position. The folder also has a closer which integrates easily and aesthetically with the folder.

Abstract: A flash card management apparatus has a progression of compartments that govern or direct which cards are reviewed at a given drill session. When the progression is ordered by card capacities, a given card will come up for review possibly at each drill session for the first few sessions, and then come up for review with ever decreasing frequency thereafter. The use of the management apparatus will assure that each card will be not only periodically reviewed, but also reviewed a fixed number of times before it is put on the side.

Abstract: A storage box for mass information carriers such as CDs, computer disks, cassette tapes. The storage box includes a box part, at least one drawer part, a spring, and a lock. The box part has a drawer opening for slidably receiving the drawer part, which is arranged for receiving the mass information carrier. The spring is associated with the drawer part and is arranged for pressing the drawer part into an at least partially opened position. The lock associated with the drawer part is arranged for holding the drawer part in a closed position against the action of the spring. The box part, the drawer part, the spring and the lock are all manufactured in an injection molding process. A set-up device for a storage having a drawer part for receiving mass information carriers box is also provided. The set-up device has a base configured to clamp a number of storage boxes adjacent the lateral side thereof located opposite the drawer opening.

Abstract: The present invention provides for an improved telescoping container, which is set up and collapsed flat quickly and easily, and is provided to the user in one integral piece, eliminating the necessity of a lid being assembled or maintained separately. An integral lid provides an improved amount of cushioning and strength, and does not enter the cubic volume of the container and thus reduce available storage space. In another embodiment the collapsible container includes a structure enabling the storage of hanging files in a collapsible box. An embodiment of the present invention provides for a container with improved support structures for hanging files. The support structures provide a smooth, reinforced surface of sufficient width on which the hooks of hanging files may rest. Since the support structures are constructed from material integral with the container itself, no separate piece is required.

Abstract: The compact disk carrying case includes, in one embodiment, an outer enclosure which is defined by two clam-shell members. Each clam-shell member has an interfacing edge which mates with the corresponding interfacing edge on the other clam-shell member. A mechanism is provided, such as a zipper, for closing the interfacing edges thereby forming a closeable outer enclosure within which is captured a plurality of compact disks. The clam-shell members are hinged together along a portion of each respective interfacing edge. The carrying case includes a plurality of compact disk carrying plates which are grouped together into n pairs of plates by n hinges. Each hinge has a progressively increasing span distance between the respective connected plates. Accordingly, these hinges establish at least a minimum and a maximum span distance between the respective connected plates.

Abstract: A compartmented file includes an outer file jacket having a front panel and a rear panel coupled together at a bottom coupling member, and one or more envelopes received in the outer file jacket and each having a front wall and a rear wall coupled together at a bottom coupling member which is secured to the coupling member of the outer file jacket. The coupling members of the envelopes and of the outer file jacket have different sizes for forming a flat bottom for each of the compartments formed between the panels and the walls of the outer file jacket and of the envelopes.

Abstract: A removable storage media case is described with a series of base segments each with a fin separation or an end-fin and with plastic flexures permitting segments to rotate with respect to each other and a retaining band. The base segments become successively shorter moving away from the center of the case.
