The top platform element has cutout portions conforming to shapes of a product to be packaged. A folded cardboard product tray element forms an open cavity conforming to the shape of the product and is secured to at least one of the top platform element and the bottom platform element and is disposed therebetween. A paper platform wrapper covers the exterior surfaces of the top platform element and a paper product tray wrapper covers the interior side wall of the open cavity.

Abstract: A disposable package is configured to promote recycling of its component parts. A thermoformed thermoplastic blister has a product bubble which extends from a peripheral flange to extend through an opening in a front card. The front card is affixed to a back card to close the product bubble and so as not to adhere to the blister flange. An extraction tab extends from the peripheral flange and is accessible on two opposed sides for gripping by a user to engage and remove the blister from the front card and the back card.

In one embodiment, a medication dispensing assembly includes a first single dose tray having a plurality of dosage complexes and a first label face, and at least a second single dose tray having a plurality of dosage complexes and a second label face. Each dosage complex has a unitary blister pocket adjacent to an L-shaped opening. In other embodiments, a single dose medication tray includes a label platform and a plurality of dosage complex groupings. The result is devices and methods to orient and dispense individually packaged medications.

The suspension device is configured to suspend the blood bag within the enclosure when the multiple panels are folded to form the enclosure.

The blister pack compartments are aligned with openings on the puck, and the box is configured to receive and secure the puck and the blister pack such that each of the plurality of compartments is aligned with a complementary opening in the box.

Abstract: A greeting card having a transparent and flexible pouch enclosing a deformable object is disclosed. The transparent and flexible pouch is vacuum sealed with the deformable object inside, such that the deformable object compresses. A transparent insert may be placed inside of the transparent and flexible pouch, in order to minimize disfiguration of the deformable object during the compression process.

Abstract: A method for separating a package blister from the cards which retain it to promote recycling of the component parts of a package. A thermoformed thermoplastic blister has a product bubble which extends from a peripheral flange to extend through an opening in a front card. The front card is affixed to a back card so as not to adhere to the blister flange. The blister has a pull feature which is accessible for gripping by a user to engage and remove the blister from the front card and the back card. To separate the blister from the cards a user grips the pull feature and pulls the blister frontwardly, thereby distorting the blister and extracting the blister from the cards, to fully separate the blister from the front card and the back card, permitting the entire package to be recycled.

Abstract: The invention relates to a carrier for pharmaceutical compositions, the carrier comprising at least a first and a second portion. Each of the first and second portions comprises at least two cavities for housing pharmaceutical composition, and at least one cover sheet covering said at least two cavities. The cavities of the first and second portions are arranged so that the first and second portions can be placed in an overlapping configuration with the cavities of the first portion positioned in spaces between the cavities of the second portion. At least one of the cavities of the first portion comprises at least one bulge, and at least one of the cavities of the second portion comprises at least one depression adapted to engage with said at least one bulge to form a mutual engagement between the first and second portions. By this engagement, mutual movement of the first and second portions is restricted, so that a rigid structure is produced.

Abstract: A robotic microplate storage system includes a freezer room having freezing units and a first robot for moving and removing microplates into and out of the freezing unit. The first robot can also transfer microplates to a processing station, where the microplates are stored in a microplate recipient within the freezing unit. The storage system may also include at least one processing room which is thermally separated from the freezer room. Each processing room may include a processing station having a tube transfer module and a second robot for moving the microplates between the microplate recipients and the tube transfer module. The first robot may be designed such that it is only capable of removing a microplate recipient from and moving it into a freezing unit as well as transferring it from a freezing unit to a processing station or vice versa.
