Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a container for retort food and, more specifically, to a container for retort food including: a container body in which food may be input and stored; and an inner cap covering the container body. The inner cap covering the container body has a predetermined depth, and thus, effective sterilization may be performed during a retort processing process, overflow of the food in the container body may be prevented, and there is an advantage in satisfying regulations regarding a packing space ratio.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a child resistant double seam container lid including an adapter ring for securely affixing to the double seam top rim of conventional double seamed containers that will be difficult for children to open, yet readily openable by adults. More particularly, a one-piece, two-piece, and three-piece child resistant double seam affixable container lid is provided having a first piece lid portion first, a second piece adapter ring locking member second piece and optionally a third piece securing unit piece, with rotational alignment indicators, and optional additional integral features such as a liquid measuring cup feature, a liquid tight lid feature, a threaded lid portion, a replaceable double seam container lid portion and a double seam container lid locking member adapter ring securely affixable to the double seam container.

Abstract: Containers for storing food in a storage compartment may include a base portion of the container. The storage compartment is sealed with a film to get the food stored in the storage compartment fresh. The container further includes a reversible lid that is able to attach to the base portion of the container in two different configurations. In a first configuration the reversible lid attaches to the base portion without affecting the seal created by the film. In a second configuration the reversible lid attaches to the base portion when the lid is inverted and the film is removed from the base portion.

Abstract: Capsule forming machines that form a dual dosage capsule have superimposed upper and lower plates that are each rotatable about an axis of rotation. Each of the upper and lower plates define a plurality of voids for receiving a shell body or a capsule member of a capsule that are positioned to define a plurality of stations. A first distribution device is operatively positioned at one of the plurality of stations of each of the upper and lower plates and an actuator is operatively connected to either of the upper or lower plates. The actuator lifts and lowers the upper plate or the lower plate relative to the other plate and/or pivots the upper plate or the lower plate relative to the other plate transverse to the rotational axis to move a capsule assembly station thereof toward to the other plate and then away from the other plate at predetermined times.

Abstract: A stackable container lid includes a top surface defining a flat surface plane without an upward protrusion, at least one recess in the top surface, a bottom surface including a rib structure adjacent a perimeter, and at least one nest segment integrated with the rib structure and protruding from the rib structure. The container lid is readily stackable with other container lids and is suited for handling with automation equipment.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a pen-like assembly of caps for cleaning and protecting needle-free iv-connectors, with an extended shelf life. An enhanced gas-tightness in sealing is arranged in-between successively arranged caps that are engaged together. A first approach is based on enhancing geometric compliance between striking surfaces, by contacting one or more material components that have different respective Shore hardness values. A second approach is based on meandering and extending a possible fluid communication route from a cavity inside a cap towards surroundings of the assembly. A third approach includes the provision of the fluid communication route with an adhesive or sealant to achieve a gas-tight sealing. A fourth approach includes circumferentially covering junctions with one or more covers that are substantially gas impermeable.

Abstract: An electronic assembly includes a first printed wiring board (PWB) on a first side of the electronic assembly, and a first stiffener secured to the first PWB. The electronic assembly also includes a second PWB on a second side of the electronic assembly, opposite the first side, a second stiffener secured to the second PWB, and a center stiffener seated in the second stiffener and between the first stiffener and the second stiffener. The center stiffener has a first side facing the first stiffener, a second side that is opposite the first side and facing the second stiffener, a first end, and a second end, opposite the first end. Electronic devices are secured to the center stiffener. The center stiffener dissipates heat from the electronic devices, and the electronic devices include power dies.

Abstract: Disclosed is an infant feeding bottle having a means of mixing powdered baby formula, or other substance, at individually separate times, within any of multiple internal chambers which may be filled with water or other liquid. A user operates the device by removing one of a plurality of attached powder dispensers and pouring its contents, through an open loading portal, directly into one of the chambers within a cylinder main body. A canister top is fabricated with an off-center nipple and, when secured to the cylinder main body, prevents spillage of contents of the chambers. The user selects and detaches one of the plurality of powder dispensers, combines its contents with water or other liquid in a selected chamber, mixes thoroughly, and dispenses to an infant, as necessary. Thus, there are provided multiple uses of the same bottle at different times.

Additionally, the ribs can be arcuate so that they generally follow a curvature of the outer perimeter of the lid. As such, a label region within the lid central region is preserved, while the lid is still strengthened by the ribs.

When a plurality of the container assemblies is stacked, the lid and base stacking features nest with each other, while the chamfers align with corresponding vents in the stacked assemblies so that none of the vents is blocked by a next-higher container assembly. The stacking features can be centrally located, and the vents can be peripherally located. A plurality of the container assemblies can have differing sizes and/or shapes, while including mutually compatible stacking features, thereby enabling container assemblies of differing sizes to be stacked without blocking any of the vents thereof. The vents can be holes or “C” vents. The lid and/or base can be manufacturable by thermoforming. The lid and base can be separate, or joined by a hinge.

This is achieved by cutting into the sip-hole, extending the sip-hole and creating a tubular flow-path or labyrinth flow-path that can channel and direct the flow of liquid into a controlled and desired flow and rate via an inlet configured to do so, and by adding a removable plug. These elements help to buffer and deflect sloshing liquid thereby minimizing or preventing the accidental release of liquid, and in many cases improving the purposeful flow of liquid back into the container.

Abstract: A modular storage system includes a number of receptacles and lids with different sizes and features that are interchangeably coupleable to each other in a stacking arrangement. A first lid has slits to provide access to a receptacle and a second lid has a suction cup and is structured to be interchangeably coupleable to the receptacle and the first lid. A user can remove the second lid from the top of the first lid and secure the second lid to the bottom of the receptacle with the suction cup secured to an external surface. A third lid includes an opening covered by a deflectable membrane. The membrane prevents liquid from spilling from the opening if the receptacle is knocked over. A straw can be inserted through the membrane and opening to provide further functionality.

Abstract: A canister including a lid and storage canister. The lid incorporates a gasket that is overmolded onto the lid during its manufacture. Base vents reduce ballooning when closed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a storage container comprising a base having a continuous side wall extending upwardly from a bottom wall and terminating at a top peripheral rim defining an upper opening. The container has a lid to open and close the upper opening, and the base of the container has a foot in the form of a rib on the underside of the bottom wall, in which the rib snap connects with a mating lid recess on an upper surface of the lid. In addition, the foot is profiled with a lead-in portion on the rib that is configured to guide the rest of the foot into the lid recess, and the foot is further profiled with a retaining portion on the rib that follows the lead-in portion to snap connect with the lid recess.

The piston is provided with an air discharge structure that communicates the chamber with an outside when the piston moves toward the first check valve, and the container cover is provided with a linkage mechanism such that the two pistons move in opposite directions. By alternately pressing pistons in two chambers, the chambers always keep in a vacuumizing state, thereby achieving a higher efficiency.

The organizable lunchbox system includes an organizable lunchbox comprising three stacked compartments and, a carrying case for the organizable lunchbox. The three stacked compartments of the organizable lunchbox include an upper compartment, a middle compartment and a lower compartment. The middle compartment is in thermal communication with the upper and lower compartments. In a preferred embodiment, the middle compartment is configured to retain an ice-pack to keep the contents of upper and lower compartments at a low temperature. The organizable lunchbox system further features a plurality of compartment dividers configured to partition the upper compartment and the lower compartment. Finally, the organizable lunchbox system includes an organizable lunchbox carrying case that is configured to retain the organizable lunchbox.
