Abstract: A packaged set of articles that are easily mounted to a pegboard hook. The packaged set of articles includes a container having a base portion and a top portion that are separable from one another along a pre-weakened line. The top portion includes a portion of a front wall of the container and a portion of a rear wall of the container. The top portion may include at least 50%, or at least 75%, or the entirety of the rear wall of the container. A plurality of packages, each of which contains an article, is arranged in an internal cavity of the container in single file. The packages may include an aperture so that the packages can be hung from a pegboard hook in a retail display. The hanging apertures may be aligned so that an employee can use the container to slide the packages onto the pegboard hook.

Abstract: The invention provides a bag container with a sealing mechanism including first and second container housings to define an open top. The sealing mechanism includes female and male engagement members respectively positioned on the two container housings. The male engagement member includes a body portion and at least a pair of protrusions extending from opposite sides of the body portion and facing away from each other, the protrusions each having opposite first and second side surfaces, and the second side surface extending at an acute angle relative to an orthogonal direction of the longitudinal axis of the male engagement member. The female and male engagement members are sized and shaped for mating engagement to hermetically seal the open top. The invention also provides a sealing mechanism comprising female and male engagement members having mating wavy cross-sectional profiles in a plane parallel to the respective container housings.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to cargo assemblages that may include containers of rolled products stacked on pallets in an underhung or partially underhung configuration and secured thereto with film and methods of producing such cargo assemblages. The load may include containers of absorbent paper product arranged in stacked layers from a bottom layer of containers to a top layer of containers. The load and the pallet are sized such that the load defines a footprint that is smaller, at least in some portions, than a footprint of the pallet to create an underhung or partially underhung configuration. A film may be applied to connect the load with the pallet and to connect neighboring stacked layers together. The film may be wrapped around the pallet and/or layers of containers with a wrap profile having different characteristics, such as for example, containment forces; tensions; numbers of layers, and/or locations of layers with respect to the load, the pallet, and/or each other.

Abstract: The present invention encompasses a system which enables arrangements of various shapes and sizes to be packaged for delivery and transport utilizing a standard container. Systems in accordance with the present invention utilize a first and second container each capable of receiving a foam base utilized in the creation of an arrangement of a predetermined size. The first and second containers are of different sizes so that one may nest inside the other. Once nested, the containers form a locking engagement with one another.

Abstract: A box-type transport container has a box-type outer container with a base, four side walls and at least one lid. The lid is hinged on a side wall. Sheet-type vacuum insulation panels are arranged in the outer container to cover the surface of the side walls. At least one carrying opening, which can be gripped by hand in order to carry the transport box, is provided in each of two opposing, side walls. The material of the side wall is weakened above and to the side of the carrying opening, such that the material can be easily separated from the surrounding material of the side wall and together with the carrying opening can be folded out of the side wall. Alternatively, the vacuum insulation panels of the side wall are secured in their relative positions by at least one peripheral tensioning means.

Abstract: A cover for use with sacks for covering the mouth of a sack after it has been filled, to prevent its contents from spilling. One application is for recyclable yard waste sacks that are used to carry yard waste such as leaves, or used for carrying food scraps from restaurants. The sacks being made of paper so that they can be composted, require a cover that is made of paper that can be recycled as well. Some embodiments of the cover utilized a paper with a plurality of holes or die-cut slits that stretch into a hexagonal three dimensional shape when pulled, and contracts when released. The unusual elasticity afforded to ordinary paper by the slit holes patterns is used to create a sack cover that can stretch to close a sack without tearing. The elasticity is utilized to create sufficient griping force on the mouth of the sack to resist dislodgement of the cover when the sack tips over. A few embodiments of the cover utilize a hybrid design in which both ordinary and slitted paper are used.

Abstract: A container includes a base and a lid defining a first compartment therebetween for storing unused snus, wherein at least the lid or the base includes a reconfigurable wall to enable a user to form or enlarge a second compartment for storing used snus on the other side of said wall to the first compartment. The reconfigurable wall is formed of contiguous polygons configured to move relative to a boundary of the reconfigurable wall and relative to each other under applied pressure so as to be arrangeable in a first, convex configuration and arrangeable in a second, concave configuration. The second compartment is formed or enlarged when the contiguous polygons are arranged in the second, concave configuration.

Abstract: A tray made from cardboard sheet material comprising a rectangular bottom and a ring of side walls, i.e., two first opposing side walls, referred to as first walls, at least one of the first walls being connected on either side by first fold lines to end flaps referred to as first flaps, which may or may not themselves be connected respectively at the top part of same to a second flap by a second fold line, and two second opposing side walls, referred to as second walls. The second walls each comprise a rectangular central panel of which the length is less than the length of the bottom, the panel being connected, at each of the lateral ends of same, by a third fold line to a reinforcing member forming a pillar folded and glued to the central panel, and/or to the first flap of the adjacent first wall, i.e., a first reinforcing element located entirely separated from the adjacent first wall, and a second reinforcing element.

Abstract: A fluid container for transporting, diluting, and dispensing a motor vehicle fluid, comprising an outer wall and a fluid chamber disposed within the outer wall adapted to hold liquids. The fluid container contains an additive concentrate stored within the fluid chamber which is adapted to be mixed with water to produce the motor vehicle fluid. The fluid container further has a selectively sealable opening which facilitates the delivery of water into the fluid chamber for mixing with the additive concentrate, and the dispensing of the resultant motor vehicle fluid. The outer wall has a transparent portion providing visibility into the fluid chamber and a calibrated dilution scale which allows a user to control the freezing point of the motor vehicle fluid by precisely diluting the motor vehicle fluid according to a plurality of dilution markers each representing a dilution level.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bagging clip that couples to a bag holder hook of a shopping bag bagging station. The bagging clip helps to keep shopping bags hung from the bag holder hook in place as one of the shopping bags is opened, filled and removed. The bagging clip includes a plate with at least one slot in the plate. The slot is a cutout in the plate extending from a front surface to a back surface of the plate. The slot is configured to couple with a rail of the bag holder hook of the bag holder, in order to couple the bagging clip to the bag holder hook. Once the bagging clip is coupled to the bag holder hook, shopping bags hung from the bag holder hook will stay in place as individual shopping bags are filled and removed from the bag holder hook.

Adjacent side panels from the first and second pair may be joined by corner panels. The corner panels may form interior angles with the side panels of from 100° to 170°. The presence of the angled corner panels may render the wrap-around better able to conform to the shape of the one or more flexible packages, and more resistant to deformation.

The dispensing assembly also includes a first component to remove only the first portion of the removable section and at least a second component to simultaneously remove both the first portion and at least the second portion of the removable section such that removal of the first component forms the first orifice and removal of the second component forms a second orifice into the chamber that incorporates the first orifice.

Abstract: The subject invention relates in part to Cry34Ab/35Ab in combination with Cry3Aa. The subject invention relates in part to the surprising discovery that combinations of Cry34Ab/Cry35Ab and Cry3Aa are useful for preventing development of resistance (to either insecticidal protein system alone) by a corn rootworm (Diabrotica spp.) population. As one skilled in the art will recognize with the benefit of this disclosure, corn plants producing these insecticidal Cry proteins will be useful to mitigate concern that a corn rootworm population could develop that would be resistant to either of these insecticidal protein systems alone. Plants (and acreage planted with such plants) that produce these two insecticidal protein systems are included within the scope of the subject invention.

Abstract: An improved dispersing system for dispensing products provided initially in a package that includes an activatable opening structure is disclosed. The dispensing system comprises a frame being configured to support the package of products and an opening tool associated with the frame. The opening tool engages with the activatable opening structure on the package to create an opening when the package is moved longitudinally along the frame of the dispensing system, thus allowing the products to be at least partially dispensed out of the package into the product display area of the frame through the opening formed on the rear panel or on an angular of the rear and side panels of the package.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention provides a free-standing handgun stack for storing multiple handguns in a single column vertical stacking arrangement. In another embodiment the invention provides a handgun stack for storing multiple handguns in a single column vertical stacking arrangement wherein the handgun stack is retrofitable or inserted for permanent or removable attachment to the inside of a gun safe. In one aspect of this embodiment, the gun stack is configured to a height and width that takes up about the same amount of space as a long gun if such long gun were disposed or secured in a vertical position in the same space within the gun safe.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a shipping and display tray for holding a plurality of articles contained therein in an upright position at a point of sale. The shipping and display tray is made of paperboard and defined by a one-piece shallow tray having a bottom wall, a front wall, a back wall, and opposite side walls foldably joined with one another. A plurality of parallel spaced apart bumpers are foldably joined to the respective opposite side walls and forming two rows, an aisle, and a plurality of channels when positioned on the bottom wall. The plurality of the channels engages with bottom edges of the plurality of articles to hold the article in standing upright position and prevent the articles from falling over when one of the articles is removed from the display tray. The front wall of the tray includes a flap panel foldably joined thereto and has a pair of openings used to engage with the bumpers.

Abstract: Wearable radio-opaque shields may be formed from relatively low-cost materials, which may include a non-toxic radio-opaque material. The use of such materials may render the wearable radio-opaque shields suitable for limited use or even for single use. The useful life of a wearable radio-opaque shield may be extended, and hygiene improved, by way of a liner configured for assembly with the wearable radio-opaque shield. Methods for using and disposing of wearable radio-opaque shields and liners are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a display package that, in one embodiment, comprises a plurality of packs containing one or more products and a sleeve. The primary packs are arranged in a bundle and disposed within the sleeve. A separator panel can be included in certain embodiments of the bundle between the packs. Portions of the packs may protrude through apertures in the front and rear panels of the sleeve and apertures within the separator panel to assist with maintaining the bundle within the sleeve.

Abstract: Roller board assemblies and methods of manufacture and use. A roller board assembly may include a roller board having a first roller board insert which is removably coupled to a housing and a second roller board insert which is also removably coupled to a housing. The removability of the first and second roller board inserts may allow for variation in the desired roller board insert configuration such as shape and size of grooves in the roller board, thus allowing for variation in the shape and size of the item to be rolled. A first coupler may couple the first roller board to the housing through a hole in the housing. A handle on the housing may allow a user to grip the housing and apply the motion required to roll an item.
