Abstract: Disclosed herein are various embodiments of a display unit with built-in, hollow vertical supports that are formed out of a single sheet of material. As one example, a display unit having a plurality of built-in, hollow vertical supports for supporting one or more shelves is provided. The display unit includes: a first single sheet of material folded into: (i) a plurality of vertical panels; and (ii) a first set of built-in, hollow vertical supports of the plurality of built-in, hollow vertical supports, wherein each built-in, hollow vertical support contacts one or more of the plurality of vertical panels; and a first shelf of the one or more shelves disposed within the frame and supported by each built-in, hollow vertical support of the first set of built-in, hollow vertical supports.
Abstract: A modular packaging system for shipping and displaying palletized products is provided. The packaging system comprises a plurality of vertically stacked trays for holding the products and corner posts extending between vertically adjacent trays for spacing and supporting the trays. The corner posts and trays are locked together in a number of ways to strengthen and stabilize the system. The system is strong enough not only to support the weight of the products on the trays and withstand the vibration and impact forces that can occur during shipping, but to withstand the weight of one or more units stacked on top.

Abstract: Various embodiments of rotating display carousels, such as for newspapers, magazines, brochures, etc. are provided with indicia by way of indicia exhibiting elements, such as for advertising, on at least one side thereof. The advertising may be printed or may be electronic. Preferably, the advertising is removable and replaceable on the carousel, allowing for updating, changing and/or rotating of select advertising. An aspect of managing the use of such a carousel is to provide such advertising onto such display carousels, preferably as such advertising relates to a business that is not of the business within which such a display carousel is to be placed. Such advertising may be provided in the form of a sheet of paper or polymeric material with indicia or advertisement print on a display surface along with an adhesive, or other connection system, such as including mechanical devices, magnetic material, hook and loop fasteners, or other fastening or bonding system.
Abstract: A packaging/displaying device includes a main blank foldable into a housing that has a bottom panel, two side panels extending upwardly from two opposite sides of the bottom panel, a back panel extending upwardly from the bottom panel and connected between the side panels, and a top panel connected to a top end of the back panel and extending above the bottom panel, said top, bottom and side panels cooperatively defining a housing space for an object, the top panel having a through hole extending through said top panel to retain a top end of an object. The housing is open at its front side to display the object.
Abstract: A system and method for shipping and displaying merchandise items includes a shipping display container having a front, back, and two side walls, a bottom, and dividers between the front and back walls for aligning merchandise items in rows. The container includes notches on both side walls adapted to engage a support frame and maintain the container in stable position. Such a system and method for provide for efficient utilization of space in both shipping and display of merchandise items and for stable positioning of shipping containers during shipping in a retail display.

The box is formed from a single piece of paperboard and may be rapidly assembled without the use of tools. The box comprises an elongated rectangular bottom panel, first and second joined side panels, a top panel, a front reinforcing panel and dividing partition all foldably joined at elongated edges and constructed to form a multi-level elongated box. The first side panel has a pair of abutting end panels foldably joined to either end, with a tab receiving panel and a locking panel foldably joined to either side of the end panel. The second side panel has a pair of end panels foldably joined to either end, that are locked in place by the locking panels and tab receiving panels of the first side panel.

Abstract: A cassette or box for containing and holding a planar substrate such as a reticle having a clamp bar coupled to corner supports by a spring or flexure and a linkage. A clamp bar is pivotally attached to bottom corner supports and a spring or flexure and linked to a top corner support, such that movement of the load bar causes the corner supports to pivot away from a reticle being held only at the corners. An elevation bar is also used to preposition the reticle in one direction. The present invention greatly facilitates the positioning and handling of a reticle as used in photolithography to manufacture semiconductor devices. Additionally, the present invention greatly reduces particulate contamination.

Abstract: A packaging assembly for both packaging and displaying a plurality of compact discs. The packaging assembly includes a support structure having tiered depressions formed into at least one row. Each depression in a row is sized to accept a compact disc and includes a retaining mechanism for selectively engaging a compact disc at each tier level. As a result, the support structure is capable of retaining multiple compact discs in each row, wherein each compact disc is retained at a different tier level. This enables the various compact discs to overlay over another without contacting one another. The tiered orientation also enables any one of the compact discs to be accessed without having to remove any other compact disc contained in the packaging assembly. The support structure itself is contained within a box, wherein the box has a forward surface that defines a large window.
