Abstract: A packaging box, including: a housing, including a cover body and a seat body, the seat body includes a first recessed portion and a second recessed portion, the cover body is reversibly connected to the seat body, so that the first recessed portion can be covered or exposed; a lifting mechanism, including a load-bearing member and a transmission part, and a reflector that is placed in the seat body and forms a 1 hollow space with the second recessed portion. The load-bearing member is placed in the first recessed portion and reversibly connected to the sidewall of the first recessed portion, the load-bearing member is used to carry items, and the transmission part is placed between the cover body and the load-bearing part so that the load-bearing part can be extended or retracted into the first recessed portion by the overturning of the cover body.

Abstract: A packaging device comprises a bod, a neck receiver, and a holder. The box is cuboidal in shape with multiple openings to accommodate a container. The neck receiver is positioned within the box to receive a neck portion of the container. The holder is inserted within the neck receiver to mount an elastic band, wherein the neck receiver is pulled out and pulled into position within a channel defined on the box using the elastic band. In an embodiment, the container is a bottle, where the neck receiver receives the neck portion of the bottle at a curved section of the neck receiver and an extended section of the neck receiver is designed to traverse along a channel defined on the box.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a box for use in packaging, storing and displaying items. The box has a one-dimensional configuration before it is formed and a three-dimensional configuration after it is formed. The three-dimensional configuration is formed from a blank which lies flat and with a plurality of fold lines. The three dimensional configuration of the box includes a base portion, four side portions, two lid portions and a platform within the interior of the box that is capable of moving in a vertical manner.

Abstract: A presentation box for presenting a transaction card may include a hinged lid connected to a hinge edge of the presentation box, the hinged lid to pivot about the hinge edge of the presentation box when moved between a closed position and an open position. The presentation box may further include a presentation apparatus that includes a tether that may be attached to the hinged lid, and a sleeve to receive the transaction card, where the presentation apparatus is to move the transaction card between a first position when the hinged lid is in the closed position and a second position when the hinged lid is in the open position, where the first position is different from the second position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a casing for a cosmetic article, the casing comprising: a base having an inner surface which accommodates a mirror; a lid rotatably mounted to the base, the lid being rotatable, relative to the base, between a closed position and an opened position; and an intermediate tray located between the base and the lid for accommodating the cosmetic article, the intermediate tray being slidably mounted to the base so as to be movable relative to the base between a retracted position, in which the intermediate tray substantially covers the inner surface of the base, and an extended position, in which the intermediate tray exposes the mirror, wherein rotation of the lid from the closed position to the open position causes the tray to slide from the retracted position to the extended position.

Abstract: An anti-theft assembly for deterring theft of a ring is provided. The anti-theft assembly includes a base that can be used to support an electronic article surveillance marker; a product engagement member including a support member that supports the ring during use and a locking member that secures the support member to the base; and an attachment member for securing the ring to the support member. In one embodiment, the support member and the locking member are a single, unitary member. In another embodiment, the support member and the locking member are separate members. Once assembled, upon applying a twisting force to the ring the engagement member rotates within the opening so that the attachment member is not broken.

Abstract: A stowing mechanism for a laptop or other device can secure different devices with varying thicknesses and widths within a compartment. The mechanism includes a cover which serves as the actuator for a jack mechanism. A pressure plate pivotally attached to the jack mechanism pushes against the device when the lid is closed, thereby securing the device within the compartment. The device can be released from the secure position by opening the cover. A buffer spring operating in conjunction with the jacking mechanism allows the mechanism to secure devices having different thicknesses and widths, while the pivotal pressure plate allows the plate to conform to devices having different shapes.

Abstract: A shipping box is disclosed having a rotatable panel associated with the lid. The rotatable panel allows the hinge of the shipping box to be displaced outwardly from the box. As a result, the shipping box can contain a display box that can be opened while in the shipping box, without increasing the size of the shipping box.

Abstract: The storage case of the invention consists of a base and a mating cover. The cover is constructed of a first cover portion that is pivotably attached to the base and a second cover portion that is slidably retained on the first cover portion. To release the cover from the base, the second cover portion is moved to an extended position where the second cover portion is disengaged from the base. A plurality of drill bit cassettes hold the individual bits and are removably retained in a corresponding number of cassette holders located within the base. The cassette holders are connected to one another and to the cover such that when the cover is opened, the cassette holders are extended out of the base where they can be easily accessed. When the cover is closed the cassette holders are retracted into the base.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a case for transporting handguns and methods of using and manufacturing the same. In one embodiment, the case is comprised of (i) an expansion mechanism located within the case, having a mounting bar coupled thereto and configured to deploy the mounting bar as the case is opened; and (ii) a handgun holder coupled to the mounting bar that includes (a) a clamp configured removably to secure the handgun holder to the mounting bar and coupled to a first shank having a threaded receptacle at an end thereof, (b) a holster seat configured to conform, and coupled, to a handgun holster and further coupled to the side of a second shank having a major axis substantially transverse to a longitudinal axis of the handgun holster, an end of the second shank mating with the end of the first shank, and (c) a fastener configured to pass through an opening through the second shank along the major axis and engage the threaded receptacle.

Abstract: A rack for holding specimen slides. The rack has a frame with opposed support bars having opposed openings for supporting opposite ends of the specimen slides. The support bars have edges connected to sides of the frame, so that the support bars are resiliently deflectable with respect to the frame. The rack of specimen slides is containable in a slide case for purposes of transportation. The slide case has a base with a first latch portion, and the rack has a second latch portion. As the rack is positioned adjacent the base, the first and second latch portions are placed in juxtaposition to releasably secure the rack in the base. A cover is positionable over the base such that the base and cover fully enclose the rack of specimen slides. As the cover is closed over the base, the cover pushes the specimen slides against the opposed support bars, thereby deflecting the support bars and securing the specimen slides in the slide case.

Abstract: A file for storing and displaying cards is disclosed. The card file consists of a base, a cover, and a tray, the cover being pivotally attached to the base and the tray being slidably disposed with respect to the cover and pivotally coupled to the base. The tray is attached to the base in such a way that when the cover is opened, the tray pivots downwardly, thereby presenting the cards at an angle. The weight of the address cards keeps the device in either the open or closed orientation chosen by the user. The card file in accordance with the present invention can be suitably adapted to display a picture or time keeping instrument in the face of the cover, so that when the cards are concealed, the card file serves as an office accessory.

Abstract: An improved ring display box is realized by providing a holding platform made from sheet material to which the ring is attached and which is unfolded as the ring box is opened. As the sheet is unfolded by the opening of the box, a folded surface to which the ring is attached is rotated upwardly out of the box and presented at an inclination to the viewer. The sheet is multiply folded by parallel sets of folds so that the surface to which the ring is attached extends outwardly and forwardly from the hinge of the box to make a visually forward projection to the viewer.
