Abstract: A container is provided, including a box and a lid, and at least one lifting panel for lifting articles, in particular smoking articles, is provided in the container. The at least one lifting panel includes a lifting panel hingedly connected via a first hinge line to the inside of a bottom wall of the box, and a back-folding panel depending from the lifting panel via a second hinge line. The back-folding panel is configured to transfer a movement of the lid to the lifting panel, such that the lifting panel is lifted, when the lid is moved in the open position. The lifting panel further includes at least one cut-out provided in the lifting panel, wherein the at least one cut-out is configured to at least partially receive the articles. A process of lifting the articles in the container using the at least one lifting panel is also provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a test strip container which provides easy access to test strips. The test strip container includes a lower housing, an upper housing, and a retaining member configured to releasably retain the test strips in a nested configuration. The nested configuration of the test strip container provides easy access to test strips by arranging the test strips so that they extend radially outward from the retaining member. The radial arrangement of the test strips operates to separate the test strips so that test strip users may easily select a single test strip from a plurality of test strips. Alternatively, the test strip container includes a lower housing, an upper housing, and a retaining member configured to releasably retain the test strips in a longitudinal configuration.

Where there are multiple pivotable component holders, they may be ganged together, for example via a gang bar. Instead of rotation of the pivotable component holders being triggered by lid closure, such rotation could be triggered by removal or storage of the tool for which the components are intended. Pivotable holder components may be manipulated manually between storage and access positions when the lid is open and movement may be independent of the lids position.
Abstract: The compact disc package of the present invention comprises a rectangular cardboard structure folded in a three-fold manner, once at its overall midpoint and at the midpoint of each part of the structure on either side of the overall midpoint. Each side is then folded inwards towards the overall midpoint forming a two-panel structure on both sides. The package further includes a tongue-like strip attached to a panel on one end and folded-over at its other end. The panel opposite that to which the tongue-like strip is attached is slit in a manner to enable passage of a compact disc into and out of the slit. The tongue-like strip carries the disc, on its folded-over end, into and out of the slit.

Abstract: A storage container including an outer case having a bottom tray and a cover hinged to it and a tongue assembly in the bottom tray. The tongue assembly can be integrally formed, with the bottom tray and/or the cover or separately formed and subsequently inserted into the bottom tray. When separately formed it can include an outer frame and a tongue extending from the frame side to which it is pivotally attached to the frame center. The tongue has a compact disc retainer mounted thereon for fitting into a center opening of a compact disc and holding the compact disc in the frame center when the tongue is in a "down" position. When the tongue is in an "up" position, pivoted relative to the one frame side, the compact disc is lifted up away from the frame and bottom tray for easy access thereto. The tongue, the frame and the hinge therebetween are preferably integrally formed together and as one unit. According to one embodiment the tongue is formed with a natural upward or raised bias, an elastic memory.
Abstract: A container for storing objects is disclosed. The container includes a housing, a lid, a tray, and a lift mechanism. The lid is pivotally attached to the housing. The tray is pivotally attached within the housing and is adapted to removably secure objects thereon. The tray pivots about an axis generally transverse to the pivot axis of the lid. A lift mechanism is coupled between the tray and the lid for lifting at least a portion of the tray upon opening of the lid. In one embodiment, the lift mechanism includes a lift arm and a lift member. The lift arm is secured to the lid. The lift member is pivotally coupled to the lift arm and coupled to the tray. In another embodiment, a spring and retraction arm are used as the lift mechanism. A line coupled between the lid and tray is also disclosed.
