  • Patent number: 7654393
Abstract: A retail display case for retail items such as a doll packaged in a center tubular section with end caps that may be removed from a center tubular section and assembled to form various accessories including a storage case. In addition one or more of the end caps may be used to provide a display stand for the doll. The retail display packaging includes the set of top and bottom end caps, and further includes the center tubular section made from clear plastic or the like. Internal components such as foam pieces or a set of molded plastic sections may be used with molded components for storage and subsequent use from the storage case. The display case is thus convertible from its original retail housing purpose into a storage case or use by the consumer for novel use as an alternative to discarding the packaging. Accordingly, the center section is provided as being disposable.

  • Patent number: 7628317
Abstract: A product authentication system includes a carrier for receiving paper currency. The currency bears a unique serial number. The carrier is attached to a product the authenticity of which may need to be verified. The carrier can serve as a hang tag attached to various products, such as designer clothing, shoes, or watches. The carrier is preferably fully transparent to expose the currency embedded within it and to expose the unique serial number. A verification system allows a user, such as a consumer, to enter alphanumeric characters representing the serial number of the currency and includes a data base containing an inventory of serial numbers representing legitimate products to which carriers with unique articles of currency have been attached. The alphanumeric characters are compared with the serial numbers contained in the data base and an output is provided for indicating the authenticity of a product only when the entered alphanumeric characters correspond to a serial number stored in the data base.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a candle packaging system that is comprised of a three part assembly. The first part is a clear box having a slightly frosted appearance. The candle packaging apparatus has a separate internal top and bottom cap units that are designed to be placed on top of and at the base of the candle in order to protect the top and bottom edges of the candle. The top and bottom caps are also constructed of a clear, frosted material. The third part of the construction is a printed insert that is designed to highlight the purpose and design of the candle itself. The box is designed to provide ease of access to allow the prospective buyer to smell the aroma of the candle and, at the same time, provide protection and keep the candle clean and fresh. Abstract: An improved structure of toolbox aims at the shortcomings of the traditional toolbox structure that can only be placed horizontally but not vertically. By means of the bottom of bottom box structure having a blocking slope with an appropriate angle and a central extended coupling structure, the present invention works together with the bottom of a covering tray structure being disposed at a coupling opening and a blocking surface. Since the blocking slope presses against the blocking surface and gives an inclined angle for the arrangement of placing the toolbox vertically, the user is able to find and store tools in a quick manner.

Abstract: A flexible package includes a plastic face piece of a predetermined shape and design. The plastic face piece is positioned over or alternately inserted through one or more die cut openings in at least one wall or panel of the bag and is bonded to the bag material along the peripheral edges of the die cut opening(s). In one preferred embodiment, the plastic face piece creates a 3-dimensional area that stands out from the package and may resemble a toy, a magnet, or a window to view the product inside the bag. In another preferred embodiment, the face piece is in the form of a receptacle that holds a separate product or other device that is removably secured to the package. Examples of separate products include a toy, an electronic game, a dip, a food product, or condiments. The face piece may be attached to either the inner or outer surface of a panel or wall of the bag. If both the bag and face piece are made of compatible materials, they may be joined by heat sealing.
