The upper portion has a rim defining an opening, a substantially cylindrical portion extending from the rim, and a curvilinear portion extending from the substantially cylindrical portion and terminating in a substantially flat portion. The lower portion includes a first surface having a first receiving portion formed therein, a sealing surface extending from the first surface and configured to be inserted into of the opening and engage with the substantially cylindrical portion, and a second surface opposite the first surface which forms a second receiving portion. The first receiving portion and the second receiving portion are substantially the same size and configured to receive a base of a toy.

Abstract: Packaging and methods for packaging tools having a sharp or cutting edge, such as surgical tools, in which the tool is packaged under sterile conditions. The tool may be packaged first—at least partially—and in particular with its sensitive cutting edges and working surfaces packaged in a protective package. The protective package containing at least the cutting or working surfaces of the tool may then be secured in a fixed position in an outer blister pack, which may be sealed with a sealing film.

Abstract: A glove storage case for storing and protecting a glove having glove pocket and palm area having a predefined shape is provided using a closable shape retaining container with a shaper having a shaped surface on which the shaped glove pocket and at least a portion of palm area of the glove is received and which essentially conforms with their predefined shapes so that when stored the glove retains its shape. Movement between the glove and shaper is limited when the glove is in position on the shaper without the application of deforming pressure against a side of said glove opposite the shaper.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the packaging of air treatment devices are shown and described. In some embodiments, a package may be configured to store an air treatment device. For example, the air treatment device may be an air filter, cleaner, purifier, or the like. The package may include a first lateral surface configured to accommodate a proximal end of the air treatment device and a second lateral surface configured to accommodate a distal end of the air treatment device. The package may further comprise a middle surface coupled between the first and second lateral surfaces. In some cases, at least a portion of the first or second lateral surfaces may include an opaque area. Moreover, at least a portion of the middle surface may include a transparent or translucent area configured to reveal at least a portion of the air treatment device.

Abstract: A pod package for nail appliqués formed of enamel in which a pod is used to hold a number of nail appliqués stacked one on another. The pod is made of a well that is sealed in an airtight fashion. The pod is held in a rectangular container that is sized and shaped to fit on standard nail polish displays.

Abstract: A package for nail polish appliqués includes a carton having a front wall defining an aperture therein, and an insert sized and shaped to fit inside the carton. The insert has a front wall and a window that projects outwardly from its front wall and through the aperture of the carton when the insert is inserted into the carton. The insert contains a packet of nail polish appliqués, and an object that displays a design corresponding to the design of the nail polish appliqués, wherein the object is displayed through the window. A method for assembling the package is also disclosed.

Abstract: A box for carrying substrates that includes a box body having an upper opening, walls and a bottom, the walls and the bottom defining therein a substrate-receiving space, and a box cover having sidewalls and a covering section so as to cover and close the upper opening of the box body. The box cover is made of a transparent material which allows the substrate-receiving space inside the box body to be seen. The substrates which are used for displays can be carried and kept in the box.

Abstract: A personal electronic device protective wallet covering. A main housing is dimensioned to fit securely and snugly around a personal electronic device. The main housing includes a window disposed on a front side of the housing allowing usable access to a front surface of a device disposed in the housing. A rear protective face at least partially covers a rear surface of the device disposed inside. A preferably externally accessible pocket is formed coextensively with the rear protective face, adapted to allow insertion and removal of cards or paper currency into and out of the pocket in the manner of a wallet. The window may be an absence of housing material, allowing direct user contact with the front of the device, or it may thin and transparent, allowing functional contact therethrough. The pocket may be formed between the housing and the device or between the housing and an additional layer.

Abstract: An eyelash case is adapted for containing a plurality of false eyelashes, and includes a case body and a handle plate. The case body includes abase and a cover plate that is disposed above the base and that is connected to the base to define an accommodating space therebetween. Each of the base and the cover plate has a transparent region. The transparent regions of the base and the cover plate are aligned with each other, and are adapted to permit the false eyelashes to be positioned therebetween. The handle plate is connected to the case body, and is misaligned from the transparent regions of the base and the cover plate.

Abstract: A package for nail polish appliqués includes a carton having a front wall defining an aperture therein, and an insert sized and shaped to fit inside the carton. The insert has a front wall and a window that projects outwardly from its front wall and through the aperture of the carton when the insert is inserted into the carton. The insert contains a packet of nail polish appliqués, and an object that displays a design corresponding to the design of the nail polish appliqués, wherein the object is displayed through the window. A method for assembling the package is also disclosed.

The transparent container may include mounted therein, a box insert formed from a paperboard body blank. The box insert may include a pair of laterally disposed sidewalls each including a locking slot and an arcuate portion. A front panel is disposed between the pair of sidewalls being connected by a vertical fold line at each sidewall. A display panel has laterally disposed locking tabs that are received in the locking slots of the sidewalls to cause the display panel to form a curved region supported by the arcuate portion.

Abstract: A packaging system is provided which includes a carton having sides defining an enclosure for receiving contents. At least one of the sides is hingedly connected to the carton for opening and closing of the carton. At least one side has a flap for extending over an adjacent side when the carton is in the closed configuration. Releasable fastening means are provided which have a first part of a releasable fastener secured to the flap to register with and engage a second part of the releasable fastener which is secured to the adjacent side. The first and second parts of the releasable fastener require a force for separation which is below a force required to tear the flap or the adjacent side.

Abstract: Disclosed are packages including transparent containers such as bottles and jars comprising a coating that reduces transmission of light through the container. The containers further comprise a product viewing area or window through which the product is visible to a consumer or purchaser. The containers are disclosed as being useful for protecting photo-sensitive products while allowing the color of those products to be displayed to the user.

Abstract: The storage container of the present invention has provisions for retaining graphic elements within the storage container sides and lid. The graphic elements may be viewed through the transparent, or semi-transparent material of the storage container box and lid. The user of the storage container may easily select graphic elements which relate to the items stored within. The graphic elements may be portions of the original packaging of the items to be stored, or may be produced by the user. The graphic elements are easily positioned and retained within the storage container by clips located along the box sides, and within a recess beneath the lid. The graphic elements are then readily viewable from the exterior of the container through the container sides and top, and are readily replaceable as new items are stored within the container.

Abstract: A packaging item for packaging a toy and an ultraviolet light accessory is described. The packaging item includes a transparent packaging shell and a toy positioning packaging. The transparent packaging shell has an opening therethrough to allow for access by a user. The toy positioning packaging is positioned within the transparent packaging shell. The toy positioning packaging includes a toy packing portion and an ultraviolet light accessory portion. The toy packing portion is formed to hold both the toy and ultraviolet light accessory such that upon activation, ultraviolet light is directed from the ultraviolet light accessory onto a portion of a toy that includes a reveal pigment. Upon exposure to the reveal pigment, the reveal pigment becomes visible to reveal a unique feature of the toy. The toy is, for example, a figurine.

Abstract: The present invention is directed generally to container for reconfigurable products and, in particular, to a display package operable to display a product in multiple configurations. The display package may include product housing portions adapted to slide from a first, adjacent position, where one product portion is positioned adjacent to another product portion, to a second, separated position, where one product portion is spaced from the other product portion. The display package may include a plurality of product housings adapted to rotate with respect to each other along a common axis such that product portions within the product housings may be selectively aligned to form desired configurations of a completed, displayed product.

When the transmission element is driven by the longitudinal movement base, the transmission element drives the lateral movement base consequently to push the lateral and longitudinal movement bases outwardly. Abstract: A portable compact baby bottle nipple and collar storage and dispenser case includes a cylindrical tubular member, a top cap, a bottom cap and a nipple-shaped insert. The bottom cap is tethered to a retaining ring for preventing separation of the bottom cap and the cylindrical tubular member. The sleeve includes at least one pair of locking tabs projecting from the first end, each locking tab including a locking edge and each locking tab being folded inwards into the opening. The product container has a body portion for receiving the product and a rigid end cap which sealingly engages with the body portion so as to house the product. The end cap is dimensioned to fit closely within the opening of the sleeve and includes a peripheral rim that, when the end cap is inserted into the sleeve opening, engages the sleeve end and prevents the end cap from being inserted further into the opening.

Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, a case for holding a hand tool at a point of sale is provided. The hand tool has a working end and a handle. The handle projects from the case to form a handle for the case and the case engages the hand tool such that the hand tool is prevented from being removed from the case while simultaneously, the handle can be rotated with respect to the case to test a function of the hand tool. Before the case and the hand tool is purchased the hand tool is prevented from being removed from the case; however, the handle can be rotated with respect to the case when the case is in a closed position. After the hand tool is purchased the customer can break a seal and the case may be opened, thereby allowing the tool to be removed from the case when the case is in an open position.

This “viewer window” will display one or more pills, thereby enabling the pills to be visible within the bottle to the patient and pharmacy staff. One or more pills will become “caught” by the shelf structure and be displayed in the viewing chamber when the pharmacist places all the pills into the vial. The viewing chamber is visible through the viewing window. The viewing window may have the capability to magnify the area in which the pill rests and thereby provide a magnified view of the pill.
