Abstract: Disclosed is a storage pouch article that is used to store eyeglasses in a secure and protective manner. The storage pouch is generally rectangular in shape with a pouch sewn into its mid-section, designed to accept a pair of eyeglasses, and has weighted sections at each end. The weighted sections serve to anchor the pouch on a support surface in order to reduce the chances for knocking them down or sliding therefrom under their own weight.

Abstract: A thin, flat hangtag for holding notepaper and of the type having an aperture to hang onto a projection, a pair of longitudinal slits to hold a writing instrument, and at least one die-cut flap which hinges on a fold-line to open outward to support the bottom of a notepaper pad. The hangtag may contain a die-cut slit or a die-cut tongue at a predetermined space above the flap to partially accommodate the last note sheet in order to further secure the notepaper pad. In addition, the hangtag may contain one or a plurality of slits communicating outwardly from the aperture for easy mounting on a projection. Furthermore, the hangtag may contain lateral scored fold-lines across the top, the mid-section, and the bottom of the writing instrument holding slits to facilitate the ease of insertion of writing instrument.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a goods hanging member for supporting by hanging a battery (including both dry battery and storage battery) or a dry battery unit made by integrating a plural number of dry batteries and other goods, on the occasion of their display and/or sales, which can be formed with a simple and single material constituting the main board, by forming a pair of slits in the main board at a certain interval, and forming creases between the end parts of the pair of slits to turn the portion surrounded by the pair of slits and the creases into a goods holding piece and form a holding space for holding goods between the main board and the goods holding piece, and is capable of securely holding goods in a holding space, and also capable of achieving a substantial simplification of manufacturing processes.

Abstract: A socket stud for a tool suspension rack comprising a suspension rack having two edges and a raised central portion with two ends. At least one socket rack is mounted on the suspension rack. The socket rack has a T-shaped locking recess with two lugs and at least one socket stud extending therefrom. The socket rack includes a top portion abutting the raised central portion of the suspension rack and a bottom portion with two ends each abutting the edges of the suspension rack. Two lugs of the T-shaped locking recess respectively abut the two ends of the raised portion of the suspension rack. The socket rack includes a passage having a flexible strip parallel to the T-shaped locking recess with a retaining boss. At least one C-shaped clamp or at least one T-shaped flange extends from the socket rack.

Abstract: Wrench sockets are supported on an elongate base by socket holders. A locking member restricts axial displacement of each socket preventing socket separation from each holder. Arms on the locking member protrude into the sockets to contribute to socket retention as do edge surfaces on the locking member. Flexible arms secure the locking member to the base while permitting socket removal upon displacement by the end user.

Abstract: A tool display rack includes a body with a first engaging member extending from the first end thereof in which a first aperture is defined, a limiting member connected to the body at its first end by a connecting plate and having a recess defined therein, a second engaging member extending from the second end of the limiting member so as to engage with the first aperture, a second aperture defined in the second end of the limiting member so as to receive the first engaging member so that a tool extends through the recess between the body and the limiting member and is limited by the limiting member. The tool can only be taken away from the body by cutting the second engaging member extending through the first aperture in the body.

Abstract: A foldover tag for jewelry items such as necklaces and bracelets includes a web fabricated from cardboard with a resilient foam rubber pad centrally disposed thereon. The pad includes a recess adapted to receive a clasp or fastener of the jewelry item therein. The foldover card is adapted for being folded about a transversely disposed foldline to effectively capture a portion of the jewelry item between front and rear portions of the card, and to secure the clasp within the recess of the pad. The present invention thus advantageously secures the clasp portion of the jewelry item in concealed relation within the foldover card during shipment and retail display of the jewelry item.

Abstract: A display case for simultaneously displaying a phonograph album and record includes a shallow rectangular open topped base tray having a width to receive an album and a length to receive the album and at least a portion of a phonograph record. A support post projects from the bottom of the tray to support and position the record in the case at the end of the tray opposite the album preferably with a portion of the record inserted into an open side of the album. A hinged transparent cover is mounted on the tray to cover the album and record, and a latch is proved to releasably retain the cover in a closed position. Hanger brackets may be mounted on the back of the tray for hanging the case on a wall for displaying the album and record.

Abstract: In order to depict features such as pivoting and/or the flexure of elements of an article or articles which are enclosed within a package, at least one holographic generating layer is disposed on the package to provide an enlarged highlighted view of a portion of an image which is printed on the surface of the package. In accordance with the invention, it is also possible to have two holographic image generating layers overlaid one on the other and adhered to the surface of a package. The outer layer permit the images produced by the underlying layer to be also viewed, although at different angles from the images produced by the upper or outer layer. This permits the simulation of different movements which are exhibited by the article or articles enclosed within the package.

Abstract: An electronic device (1), for example a test pack for use in determining the efficacy of a sterilization cycle in a sterilizer, is provided with a protective framework (10) comprising two impact-absorbing ring-like members (11, 12) located on opposed sides of the device and three impact-absorbing arms (13) spaced apart from the device and extending at equi-spaced locations between the ring-like members.

Abstract: The invention relates to a presentation element suitable for displaying or presenting articles intended for sale, for example ornaments, pieces of jewellery and the like, which presentation element comprises a first element part comprising edges and a central portion for accommodating an article on a first side of the first element part. The presentation element is according to the invention characterized in that it comprises a second element part connected to the first element part, which comprises edges and a deformable central portion, which second element part can be adjusted into a first position, wherein the edges of the second element part butt against the edges of the first element part, on the first side thereof, and wherein the deformable central portion envelops the article.

Abstract: A plastic blister package for display and storage of a toothbrush has a base member and a closure member connected to one another by an integrally molded hinge. The base member and closure member have a pair of flanges, one overlying the other with package in the closed position, and a lip is provided on flange edge of the base member for receiving the edge of the closure member to seal the cavity formed by the two members. A pair of protuberances extend from the base flange and are received in interfitting engagement with a pair of openings found in the closure flange to substantially lock the package in the closed position.

Abstract: A folding carton for a display container including a front panel, a back panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, and a flap are provided, which can yield a display box which overcomes drawbacks in the prior art. The extra flap can be hinged behind the center of gravity of the box. Preferably, the hinge is at the top of the storage portion of the box and a hanging portion of preferably double thickness with a fold preferably at the top thereof can be above the storage portion. A hole can be formed in this hanging portion. In one embodiment, the weight of the box will cause it to close the gap between the box and the extra flap when the box is hung from a hook. The extra flap can be hinged at a front side of the box. Also, offsets can be provided in the flap, so that the back of the printed box material will remain covered when the box is viewed from the front. The box is particularly useful for containing drugs.

Abstract: The blister pack has a reusable container mounted to a display card in a tamper resistant manner. The reusable container has a tray and a lid with the tray having frangible flanges thereon which are sealed to a presentation side of the display card. The lid has a deep channel which is received frictionally into the tray for securely closing the reusable container. Both the lid and the tray have enlarged finger engageable pull tabs for ease of opening the reusable container.

Abstract: Packaging for an article or set of articles is provided by a back cardboard sheet (1b) and a front cardboard sheet (1a) sandwiched together. The front cardboard sheet (1a) has a central opening (4) provided therein and is attached to the back sheet (1b) about peripheral regions of the front sheet (1a). The front sheet (1a) remains unattached to the back sheet (1b) in the region surrounding the opening (4). A moulded plastics member (7) has a peripheral edge region (8) held between the unattached regions of the front and back sheets (1a,1b) and has a central portion (10) which projects through the opening (4) in the front sheet (1a) and which provides a housing for the article(s) to be packaged. A pair of perforated seams (5a,5b) extend from opposed edge regions of the front sheet (1a) to the central opening (4).

Abstract: A paint brush storage device comprising a vessel whose top portion is circular and whose bottom portion tapers inwardly on two sides to conform to the rectangular cross section of a conventional house painting brush. A removable and replaceable water tight closure secures to the top portion of the vessel by mating male and female threads. An integral hook emanates from the top edge of the closure cap and a gasket is located between the interior of the closure cap and an upper lip of the vessel. A preferred embodiment further comprises a separate base plate having peripheral holding tabs capable of receiving the bottom portion of the paint brush storage vessel in an upright position. A flexible clip is affixed to the outside wall of the vessel so that the storage device may be attached to a belt. A further alternate embodiment includes a base plate integral with the bottom portion of the vessel.

Abstract: A socket displaying device includes a back plate with two grooves defined in two sides thereof and a stop extends from the first end of the back plate. A frame is slidably engaged with the two grooves of the back plate and has two side plates between which a plurality of chambers are defined so as to receive sockets therein. Each of the side plates has a flange extending toward the other side plate. The frame has a first end thereof so as to engage with the stop of the back plate when the frame is in its first position. An aperture is defined in the second end of the frame so that when the frame is pulled away from the back plate, the stop is engaged with the aperture so limit the frame from dropping from the back plate.

Abstract: A socket stud for a tool suspension rack includes a substantially cubic body having two opposite first sides and two opposite second sides, and containing a passage transversely defined through the two first sides, and a snap mounted on one of the two first sides of the substantially cubic body. The snap includes at least one flexible strip having a first side facing opposite the passage and a second side facing the passage, and a retaining boss extending outward from the first side of the flexible strip.

Abstract: A packaging unit for rod-shaped perfume bottles, each comprising a cylindrical perfume container (9), a metering pump that can be mounted thereon to close the container, and a cap (11), with or without a clip part, that can be slipped onto the metering pump comprises an elongated case (1) comprising container part (2) and lid (3), the container part (2) having at least two compartments. In one compartment there is placed a bottle in completely assembled form or in the form of individual parts with or without perfume container (9), and in the other compartment there is provided a number N of identical perfume containers (9), which are closed with a closure element (8) instead of a metering pump. The packaging unit contains 25 ml of perfume fluid or a multiple thereof.

Abstract: A packing for pourable materials constructed from paper, from plastic sheet or from a similar flexible material has the form of a package or bag which is closed at both ends. A pouring opening for removing contents from the package is to be produced by the consumer in a transition region between one of the two closed ends of the package and the adjoining narrow side wall of the package. In a region of the other of the two closed ends of the package essentially diagonally opposite to the pouring opening that is to be produced, a holding device of an, in turn, flexible material is provided, which normally extends within the outer contour of the package. However, the holding device can be pulled with a part, forming an external gripping handle, out of the package for the purpose of removing material from the package and serves as a pouring aid.

Abstract: A packaging article for a tie-down assembly that includes a tension strap is described that has multiple uses. The packaging article can be used for retail display of the assembly and for later storage of the assembly. The article has further uses in the operation of a tie-down assembly by providing guide slots for receiving and retaining a tension strap or cord and by providing an edge protector to protect the edges of a load secured by a tension strap or cord. The packaging article comprises a generally planar frame with guide members or retaining members that define the guide slots extending upwards from the frame surface and edge protector members that extend downward from one side of the frame perpendicular to the frame plane.

Abstract: A plumber's caddy is disclosed which provides a holder for plumbing tools, fittings and supplies. An arm permits the caddy to be secured to a member such as a ceiling joist. The arm is jointed in one or more places such that the holder can move relative to the fastener. A swivel joint is disclosed which permits rotation and tilting of the holder relative to the fastener. Hangers are provided for hanging tools from the holder.

Abstract: A packaging system is provided for displaying merchandise on a rack which includes at least two separate pieces of merchandise and a header for engaging the rack. The header includes a pair of opposing shoulders disposed in a spaced apart relationship with a bottom of the header, and filaments enable coupling of the pieces of merchandise to one another and to the opposing pair of shoulders in a manner enabling the merchandise to be removed from the rack with the header, inspected and tested, without affecting the coupling of the merchandise to one another or to the header.

Abstract: A bicycle saddle hanger and packaging device, for use with a bicycle saddle having a pair of converging mounting rails, is provided. The device generally includes a display face, a pair of arms for slidably bracing a rail of a bicycle saddle, and a tapered tongue, extending between the display face and arms, for stabilizing a saddle suspended from the device during display. The device may further include a pair of shoulders for abutting the rails during the display. Between the shoulders and the arms, a pair of v-shaped slots may be provided for enabling the sliding of the display face and arms along the rails in order to facilitate stacked packaging of a plurality of such saddles on top of one another. The entire hanger and packaging device may be comprised of a single planar member. In addition, the invention provides a package of stacked bicycle saddles each including such a hanger and packaging device.

Abstract: A tool display pack includes a board and a security device. The board has an engaging hole with a shoulder section. The security device includes an end pivotally connected to the boar. A resilient locking member projects from an inner side of the security device that faces a front side of the board. The resilient locking member includes a hook formed on a distal end thereof and a protrusion formed adjacent to the hook. The security device includes a through-hole through which a tool to be displayed is extended. The locking member is extendible through the engaging hole of the boar such that the protrusion and the hook of the resilient locking member are located on a rear side of the board. The protrusion is releasably engaged, with the shoulder section of the board, and the hook prevents pivotal movement of the security device relative to the board when the hook is moved to bear against the shoulder section of the board, thereby locking the tool in place.

Abstract: A device for holding sockets includes a body with two rails formed to two sides thereof and a plurality of connecting members are slidably mounted to the rails. A head member is disengagably engaged to the body so as to attach the device to a user's belt. Each of the connecting members has a socket mounted thereto. The body further has a retaining member formed thereto so that a ratchet tool is removably retained by the retaining member.

Abstract: A reclosable carton having an integrated hang tab adapted for use on standard store pegboard or racking displays wherein the integrity of the hangtab is such that it will withstand the loading of weights comparable to or exceeding those withstood by pressure sensitive hangtabs. The hangtab is perforated along the bottom so that it can be torn off by the consumer after purchase. With the hangtab in use, the carton with which it is integrated provides continuous closure to the product inside via a top inside major flap which prevents dust and debris from entering the carton. A zipstrip is included and it provides a positive closure for the package which is tamper evident and secure. A reclose tab is integrated into the zipstrip. When the zipstrip is removed, the reclose tab is created. It can be tucked into a corresponding opening in the carton front wall panel for carton reclosure. Additionally, a secure locking ellipse is incorporated into the carton.

Abstract: A new absorbent wipe dispensing device for dispensing absorbent wipes to protect a person from germs and infections while using a public toilet. The inventive device includes a wall panel adapted for removable securement to a wall. The wall panel has a lower collar extending from it. The lower collar has open upper and lower ends. A container for holding a supply of absorbent wipes is slidably received within the lower collar. The container has an open upper end for removal of the absorbent wipes. An upper collar is hingedly secured to the lower collar. The upper collar has an open upper end and a closed lower end. The closed lower end of the upper collar has an opening through it to allow for passage of absorbent wipes therethrough.

Abstract: An assembly of interconnected containers includes a plurality of containers each of which has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a hinge or hinges with the upper portion having a pair of elongated generally parallel upwardly open channels. The container also has a pair of generally parallel generally downwardly projecting flanges structured to engage an upwardly open channel of an adjacent container and adjacent containers have either at least one of the channels engaged by a flange of an adjacent container or at least one of its flanges engaged in a channel of an adjacent container or both. The channels are preferably open at at least one end so as to permit relative sliding removal and insertion of the containers from and into the assembly. The channels are disposed closer to each other than are the flanges. In one embodiment the upper portion has the upper sidewalls diverging downwardly therefrom and the lower wall has a pair of lower sidewalls diverging upwardly therefrom.

One of its side panels is connected to another by a tab and slot, or tab and pocket, arrangement above a base. The base connects the side panels. There is a reservoir for dispensing the volatile material which is mounted on one of the side panels, with a rear of the reservoir being positioned between two of the panels above the base.

Abstract: A suspendable vacuum storage bag includes a bag body and a suspending device. The bag body has a single opening forming a sealable opening. The suspending device is provided at an end opposite or adjacent to the sealable opening. The sealable opening can be sealed by sealing means after articles are placed flatly inside the bag body. Hangers on which articles are hung can be fastened to a suspending plate of the suspending device to achieve optimum use of available storage space. The bag body can be suspended by means of the suspending device.

Abstract: A single-sheet, multi-paneled product tag in which one panel that includes a channel for receiving the utensil is sandwiched between two other panels when the tag is folded. The channel for receiving the utensil is formed by a single U-shaped slot in one of the panels.

Abstract: A self-hanging and self-engaging display package includes a rear panel having an aperture formed therein and a front panel having an integrally formed tab. A plurality of display packages form a display package system for automatically forming a chain of a plurality of self-hanging display packages. The tab of a first display package releasably engages the aperture of a second adjacent display package as the first display package is pulled out of the shipping container.

Abstract: A mailer product is described which can be sold free of external packaging thus allowing single unit quantities to be sold at a reasonable price. The product is provided with a separable merchandiser panel containing desired merchandising information connected to the product at a perforated line with notches at each end for ease of separation. A vertical extension on one side of the merchandiser panel allows merchandising information to be provided above merchandising hook level in an area heretofore wasted.

Abstract: A suspension rack includes a suspension plate having a first side, a second side, and two end portions each defining a hole and an L-shaped cavity located adjacent to the hole. A U-shaped supporting bracket is mounted on the first side of the suspension plate and includes a vertical arm, two side arms each extending from the vertical arm to the suspension plate, and two extensions each extending from an associated side arm to abut on the first side of the suspension plate. Two snapping members each include an enlarged head abutting on an associated extension, a shank slidably received in a bore defined in each of the two extensions and in the hole of an associated end portion of the suspension plate, and an enlarged abutting edge abutting on the second side of the suspension plate. Two L-shaped resilient hook portions each extend from an associated extension and are each detachably received in the L-shaped cavity of the suspension plate.

Abstract: A packaging box assembly includes a box including a bottom plate having a first side and a second side, a first plate having a first end portion foldably extending from the first side of the bottom plate and a second end portion, a first cover foldably extending from the second end portion of the first plate and defining a first elongate slot, a second plate having a first end portion foldably extending from the second side of the bottom plate and a second end portion, and a second cover foldably extending from the second end portion of the second plate and defining a second elongate slot aligning with the first elongate slot. A receiving barrel is detachably received in a space defined between the first plate and the second plate, and a suspension ring is pivotally mounted on a top portion of the receiving barrel and extends through the first elongate slot and the second elongate slot.

Abstract: The present invention provides a sturdy display package which, in an embodiment, is made of first and second peripherally sealed transparent PVC sheets approximately 7.5 mils thick each. The package is particularly useful for displaying and protecting small items such as pain reliever packets or condoms. The invention includes a method and apparatus for making such a package. The first sheet is positioned over a nesting plate having a plurality of nesting modules, each corresponding to one package and being independently height-adjustable by a shim at a selected location to correct sealing flaws. The second sheet is then positioned over the first sheet so that the items are between the sheets. An RF-sealing die is provided having package-shaped sealing dies, each defining a pocket. The sealing die and nesting plate are pressed together so that each pocket receives a bulge formed by from one of the items.

Abstract: A tool box includes a bin section for receipt of tools, trays and removable containers or compartments. A hinged lid fits onto the bin portion of the tool box and is designed to retain the various containers and trays in position when closed. The area of the lid is enclosed within the profile of the base of the bin to facilitate sitting and standing thereon and to increase stability of the assembly.

Abstract: A method for handling product enclosures each containing a product and having a through opening. A five panel fiberboard folder is provided that includes first, second, third, fourth and fifth elongate panels each having opposite longitudinally extending sides, one longitudinally extending side of the fourth panel being joined to one longitudinally extending side of the third panel, and the longitudinally extending side of the fourth panel opposite the third panel being joined to one longitudinally extending side of the fifth panel. The fifth panel has a plurality of through cuts between its major surfaces each defining a hook portion of the fifth panel projecting toward a first end of the fifth panel, and the five panel folder has perforations affording separation of the fourth panel from between the third and fifth panels.

Abstract: A tool display assembly includes a card having a dove-tailed flange formed to a lower edge thereof, at least one connecting member having a dove-tailed groove defined in a top thereof sa as to receive the dove-tailed flange therein and a lower end having four walls extending downwardly therefrom so as to form a rectangular portion to be received in a socket. An aperture is defined through a top of the lower end of the connecting member. A hook member has a hook formed on a top thereof and a stop bar extending transversely from a lower end thereof such that the hook extends through the socket and the rectangular portion and is engaged with the aperture.

Abstract: The packaging sleeve has at a first end (4) thereof an extended (11) back wall (1) and extended (31) side walls (3) connected thereto. The sleeve is closed at the first end (4) by a lid (21) connected to the front wall (2) and provided with a closing flap (23) which extends into the sleeve and is kept enclosed by side flaps (33), which extend from the side walls (3) and which are overlapped by the closing flap (23). The extended (11, 31) walls (1, 3) prevent the closing flap (23) from being opened, unless the sleeve may be damaged or destructed.

Abstract: A plastic bag has two perforations, an upper and a lower, and a flip top allowing the top of the bag to be torn from a header or saddle loaded with product and closed. The flip top can then be removed using the lower perforation to expose the product.

Abstract: A rack for tool bits has many apertures in its horizontal top panel for receiving the drill bits, turning tools, and the like. Each aperture may be provided with a soft plastic bushing to prevent damage to the tool edge. A back vertical panel depending from the top panel is provided with rack supporting mechanisms for removably supporting the rack on the vertical wall of a stationary machine tool. The supporting means may include magnetic elements or preferably keyhole shaped apertures in the back panel that cooperate with shouldered machine screws affixed to the vertical wall of the machine tool. A cork surface on a front vertical panel of the rack may be provided for tacking on memos.

Abstract: A thermoformed thermoplastic blister is connected to a backing card. The blister has a peripheral flange which is positioned adjacent the backing card, and a bubble which protrudes frontwardly from the flange. A catch is formed in the flange, and is deformed rearwardly through an opening in the card to extend downwardly. The plastic catch extends into a narrow slot on the bubble of another like package. The slot is approximately the same width as the catch and need be only slightly taller than the thickness of the flange. With this connection structure multiple packages may be supported one upon another. In addition, the packages will automatically link to one another when extracted from a shipping carton. The rearwardly protruding catch may be formed from the plastic flange alone, or may be formed together with a portion of the backing card for additional strength.

Abstract: In the invention, a hexagonal lid is pivotably connected to a generally flat body. A number of conventional hex keys of different sizes are secured within a plurality of plastic retaining members molded to the body such that both ends of the hex keys project out of the lid through notches in opposing sides of the lid to allow the consumer to touch the hex keys. The long ends of the hex keys project downwardly out of the lid generally parallel to the side edge of the body, and the short ends of the hex keys project out of the lid onto the top portion of the body parallel to the top edge of the body. Unauthorized removal of the hex keys at the point of sale is prevented by a block secured to the top portion of the body by a clip which penetrates a slit defined in the body.

Abstract: A box for keeping earplugs, including a container part, a lid attached to the container part for closing the container, and elements for attachment and suspension of the box to clothes, a nail or the like. The lid is self-closing by provision of a springing action, and the lid is provided with a protrusion for snap-in locking cooperation with a corresponding indent inside the container part. The attachment element includes a clip having two parts which are flexible in relation to each other in order for a portion of an article, to which the box is intended to be attached, such as a belt, the cloth of a garment, a button, etc., to be inserted between the two flexible parts. The suspension element includes a loop attached to the box.

Abstract: A display package that includes a sheet backing divided into a plurality of sections, each configured to allow the sections to be severed individually or in groups from the rest of the backing and each is arranged relative to each other in rows and columns. Each section holds an item of merchandise, food or medicine within an associated plastic bubble or blister secured to the particular section. The bubbles or blisters are spaced apart from each other. The borders between adjacent sections are removably connected to each other along a relatively narrow region and separated from each other elsewhere by a relatively wide gap.
