Abstract: A combined birthday candle and match package wherein a box having front, back, end and side walls is provided with a plurality of matches integral and co-planar with the back wall. Perforations are provided between the matches and the back wall so that the matches can be individually torn from the back wall. A match striking surface is provided on an end wall. The front wall may include a window portion, and the back wall may include a foldable panel for covering the matches.

Abstract: Cigarette boxes and packs with attached match books are introduced to enhance the convenience of having matches very close to cigarettes where they are needed. Common and ordinary match books are attached to hard-top box or soft pack cigarette package through a strip of paper or cardboard which is wrapped around the cigarette pack. the match book can be inserted and removed from the strip at will and can then be reinserted or removed again. Additional spots of abraisive material are located on the paper strip to allow the use of matches while the match book is still attached to the cigarette pack through the strip.

Abstract: A combination cigarette and lighter case is provided in which a lighter holder is removably mounted on a cigarette case. The lighter holder comprises a tubular member of non-rigid material adapted to fit snugly about the cigarette lighter. The lighter holder is especially suitable for use with disposable cigarette lighters of various configurations. The cigarette case and lighter holder are provided with a set of fasteners which allow the lighter holder to be conveniently engaged and disengaged. Preferably, with the lighter holder secured to the cigarette case, the lid of the cigarette case is held closed.

Abstract: A cigarette package holding a plurality of cigarettes which incorporates therein match sticks and is also provided with a friction surface for striking the matches thereon, so that any inconvenience is not caused when carrying the cigarettes in a pocket or other. Number of the match sticks is preferably equal to or slightly more than the number of cigarettes packed in the cigarette package.
