  • Patent number: 11058975
Abstract: A filtering apparatus has filtering elements (11) in a filter housing (1), a filter inlet (7) and a filter outlet (9). During filtration, one of the filter elements (11) can be back-flushed by a back-flushing device (45, 49), having a pressure control device (19). The pressure control device has a hydraulic accumulator (19), with a fluid chamber (47) fillable during filtration with clean fluid and connectable for back-flushing via a back-flushing guide (45) to the clean side (29) of the filtering element (11) to be cleaned. For back-flushing, a further fluid chamber (48) of the hydraulic accumulator (19) is subjected to gas pressure. By resultant movement of a separator (59) of the hydraulic accumulator (19), the filling amount of the clean fluid is dispensed for the back-flushing.

  • Patent number: 10345127
Abstract: A cassette module for a differential flowmeter has a first channel and a second channel which carry fluid during operation of the differential flowmeter and are permeated by a magnetic field during operation of the differential flowmeter, each having an electrode pair arranged on the first channel and on the second channel. A flow difference between the first fluid-carrying channel and the second fluid-carrying channel can be determined by comparing the signals on the first electrode pair and on the second electrode pair. The first channel has an additional section that is permeated by the magnetic field during operation. Another electrode pair is arranged in the additional section, so that a change in the measurement conditions can be detected by comparing the signal on the first electrode pair and on the additional electrode pair.

  • Patent number: 10308525
Abstract: A suspended-matter removing method and a suspended-matter removing apparatus are disclosed that require no sludge treatment facility, and inexpensively provide filtrate satisfying a water quality standard. The suspended-matter removing method includes: feeding a protrusion element to a filter layer formed by filling a solid filter material, adding a protrusion to a surface of the solid filter material; after feeding protrusion element, determining whether a protrusion has been added to the surface of the solid filter material, and when it is determined that the protrusion has been added, reducing a feeding amount of the protrusion element as compared with when adding the protrusion; forming a biofilm on the surface of the solid filter material; and passing water to be treated containing suspended matters through the filter layer having the solid filter material added with the protrusion in a state in which the feeding amount of the protrusion element is reduced.

  • Patent number: 10252920
Abstract: Data relating to fluid dynamics is obtained using a flow field sensor that measures acceleration and angular velocity of the sensor on three axes. Ballast control allows the sensor to obtain neutral buoyancy within the fluid. The sensor is effective in opaque fluids and closed containers as data is stored in a removable memory. Froth flotation systems are among the applications for the sensor. The small size, the geometry, and the center of mass of the sensor allow it to follow the flow field in a vessel without material disruption of the flow field or weight-induced angular displacement.
