  • Patent number: 11248328
Abstract: A portable device for washing and spin-drying laundry, comprising a cover and a bag body, wherein the cover is provided with a rotating disk, and a user can rotate the rotating disk through a grip provided on the rotating disk, so that the rotating disk is rotated relative to the cover. A storage bag is connected at the bottom of the rotating disk, which can be used to store the laundry to be washed. The bag body is mainly made of soft material and can be folded for storage. An opening is formed for the cover to be assembled. When the present disclosure is used, the laundry to be washed is first placed in the storage bag, then the storage bag can be connected to the cover, and finally the cover can be combined with the bag body. Thereafter, the user holds the grip to turn the rotating disk such that the storage bag rotates inside the bag body to perform the washing and spin-drying operations.

  • Patent number: 10807020
Abstract: A stacked-plate apparatus and method for separating a first fluid from a multiphase fluid, the apparatus having pairs of adjacent plates spaced apart from one another to form gaps, or flow passageways, between the plates. At a selected pressure, the first fluid of the multiphase fluid can flow along the gaps between the plates, to be collected when it exits the gaps. The other fluids of the multiphase fluid cannot flow along the gaps, and thus the first fluid is separated from the second fluid. The method and apparatus can be used to separate fluids that have different rheological properties, such as air and water, or water and oil.

  • Patent number: 10787764
Abstract: A clothing ejection net for a washer or dryer and method of ejecting clothing from a washer or dryer. The clothing ejection net comprises a net body that reconfigures between a retracted net configuration and an extended net configuration in relation to the interior of a metal drum of a washer or dryer. Magnets on the sidewalls of the net body magnetically attach the net body to the interior surface of the metal drum during washing and drying operations. A pull cord at the front face of the net body pulls the net body out of metal drum, to an extended net configuration. Magnets on the inner surface of the net sidewalls separate from magnets on the outside surface of the net body, creating a discrete snap separation to the extended net configuration. The extension of the net body ejects the clothing from the clothing retention cavity of net body.

  • Patent number: 8388849
Abstract: An adjustable and removable skimming assembly is provided for attaching to the bow of a watercraft. When mounted, the skimming assembly presents vertically orientated starboard, port and bow cages that house oil absorbent padding. The cages with the positioned pads are largely porous so that at slow watercraft velocities, the water flows through the pads but the oil is retained within the pads across a substantially horizontal plane. As the pads become oil saturated along this common plane, the vertical cages are adjusted to expose a section of the pad that is not saturated. This process is repeated until the entire pad surface is saturated. The resistance force created by the water against the starboard and port cages during movement is countered by a plurality of tethering cables extending from the structural members attached to the bow of the watercraft to the outer edges of the cages.

Abstract: A biosafety cabinet device includes one or more walls forming a housing, a work area contained within the housing, a filter in fluid communication with the work area for filtering fluid passing through and exiting the work area. The filter includes a primary filtration surface through which a majority of fluid being filtered by the filter passes. A filter removal device is configured to couple to the filter. The filter removal device includes a rigid barrier layer and one or more handling mechanisms adjoined with the rigid barrier layer and extending distal to the rigid barrier layer. When the filter removal device is securely coupled to the filter, the rigid barrier layer extends substantially across a non-peripheral portion of the primary filtration surface of the filter and allows passage of fluid from the work area through the primary filtration surface of the filter.

  • Patent number: 8268051
Abstract: A preassembled and portable crude oil processing apparatus includes a support platform with a gas separator vessel covered by a shed structure and an elongated liquid separator vessel pivotally connected to the support platform. The liquid separator vessel includes support structure which supports it an a horizontal transport configuration. The apparatus is loaded onto a flatbed trailer and transported to a crude oil processing site with the liquid vessel in the horizontal configuration. At the processing site, the apparatus is hoisted off the trailer and deposited on the ground, and the liquid separator vessel is pivoted to a vertical configuration supported by the platform and secured in place. Plumbing associated with the gas separator vessel is then interconnected with plumbing associated with the liquid separator, with piping carrying a crude oil emulsion for processing, and with tanks for storing products of the process.
