Abstract: Embodiments provide shelves, bracket systems, automated picker robots, totes, and other features that may be used with delivery vehicle configurations that have automated cargo areas. A delivery vehicle may include a picking robot that selectively retrieves packages for delivery without requiring substantial human intervention for locating those packages. The cargo area of the delivery vehicle may further comprise a plurality of customizable shelving units that generate custom-sized shelves for packages. The shelves may include a plurality of individually movable shelf brackets having retaining members that pivot between an extended and retracted position to hold the package in place and to enable the picking robot to retrieve the package from the shelf. Another embodiment provides for a tote having a drive mechanism to hold letters so that a letter may be automatically retrieved from the cargo arear and provided at a delivery location.

Abstract: A dishware supporting arrangement is provided that may include a mesh structure and a tilting mechanism. The mesh structure may include a structure main extension plane and may include a first plurality of ribs connected to a second plurality of ribs. The first plurality of ribs may extend along a first plane at a first angle and the second plurality of ribs may extend along a second plane at a second angle. The tilting mechanism may allow the mesh structure to be titled around at least one axis between a first position and a second position and may hold the mesh structure in the first position and in the second position. Each of the first plurality of ribs and each of the second plurality of ribs may be inclined in relation to the rack main extension plane at the first position and at the second position.

A hinge body is mounted to the edge railing and pivotally coupled to the panel hinge member to allow the panel hinge member and the panel to pivot with respect to the hinge body. The panel and the panel hinge member are formed as a unitary monolithic body.

Abstract: A tandem grip unit includes a pair of left and right tandem grips. Each of the tandem grips in turn includes a to-be-supported portion supported by a vehicle frame structure, a grip portion to be grasped by a fellow passenger, a bag fitting portion to which a pannier bag is fitted, and a casing fitting portion to which a top casing is fitted, all of those elements being formed integrally.

Abstract: Hanging baskets assemblage includes a plurality of vertically mounted baskets pivotally suspended in a support framework allowing them to swing freely. Freely pivoting hanging baskets in the assemblage allows the baskets to easily tilt down on one side to expose contents simply with the weight of a hand. The utility is further augmented by an optional ancillary member, which provides a counter balance weight hung on one side of a plurality of baskets to assist gravity to allow the baskets to pivot back to a neutral or closed position. The ancillary member also permits the simultaneous opening and closing of all the baskets offering further utility. One embodiment of said ancillary member has a series of insertion cutouts with lip-hooks that engage with the baskets through an insertion slot in the rigid basket brims, a second embodiment is attached directly to the baskets with coupled eye-screws or other bendable means.

Abstract: An apparatus provides a means by which a heavy cylindrical object, such as a gas cylinder, may be manually moved by a single person from a vertical standing position in a first location to a second location and, if desired, raised and placed on a storage shelf or platform. The apparatus has clamping mechanism which clamps around the girth of the cylindrical object. Once the cylindrical object is secured within the clamping mechanism, a manual force applied to one end of the cylindrical causes the clamping mechanism and the cylindrical object to pivot, raising the bottom of the cylindrical object from the surface upon which it stands. The apparatus, having ground engaging wheels, may then be pushed to the second location.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes a storage chamber for storing food; an ice making compartment provided at an upper side corner of the storage chamber; and two shelves provided between a sidewall of the ice making compartment and a sidewall of the storage chamber opposite to the sidewall of the ice making compartment. The two shelves include a rotatable shelf and a horizontal shelf mounted between the sidewall of the storage chamber and the rotatable shelf and configured to be adjustable vertically upwards and downwards independently of the rotatable shelf. The rotatable shelf, while maintaining the vertical position, forms a vertical space for keeping food having a great height and stored on a shelf provided below the rotatable shelf. The rotatable shelf and the horizontal shelf form a horizontal space for keeping food having a great width when the horizontal shelf and the rotatable shelf in the horizontal position are horizontally aligned.

Abstract: A furniture pull-down shelf has first and second opposed lateral webs delimiting a shelf receptacle. First and second pairs of pivot levers are pivotably secured on first and second opposed furniture sidewalls and on the first and second lateral webs and define first and second four-bar linkages. The first and second four-bar linkages transfer the shelf from a stowed position inside the furniture into a lowered access position. An operating element is connected to first pivot levers of the first and second pairs of pivot levers. It extends in an initial operating position along a front side of the shelf receptacle. When pivoting the pull-down shelf into the access position, the connecting element moves from the initial operating position into a downward open operating position.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention provides a “floating” shelf assembly that is configured for mounting on attic rafters or exposed wall studs. In at least one embodiment, the shelf assembly comprises a shelf that includes rotatable mounts at a first edge, which are configured to mount to adjacent rafters at a desired height above the attic floor or insulation. The shelf further includes flexible members which are configured to hang the opposing, second edge of the shelf from an overhead mounting point. The ability to rotate the shelf relative to its mounted first edge allows easy leveling of the shelf by adjusting the hanging length of the flexible members suspending the second edge of the shelf. The shelf assembly also permits direct use with wall studs, where the rotatable mounts are attached to the wall studs and the flexible members are pulled taught, diagonally back and above the shelf.

As the shelving frame is lowered, the hanging shelves rotate with respect to the shelving frame so that the shelves remain horizontal, parallel, and level with the ground. The posts and trays are removable from the frame, and can be broken down for storage.

Abstract: Retrofitting shelves attachable to a shelving system, shelving systems, and methods of displaying items on a shelving system. In one form, the retrofitting shelf includes a supporting unit, pivoting mechanisms attachable to the supporting unit, and a continuously adjustable device for dividing items on the shelving system which is attachable to the supporting unit. In another form, the shelving system includes a base, vertical members attached to the base, and a retrofitting shelf attached to the vertical members. In yet another form, the method for displaying items on a shelving system includes attaching a retrofitting shelf to the shelving system and placing items on the supporting unit of the retrofitting shelf.

Abstract: A shelving system includes a frame with vertical frame members and cross braces, a shelf with three-sided perimeter groove and under-shelf groove, a wire perimeter shelf support engaging the perimeter groove and vertical frame members, and a wire under-shelf support constructed to engage the under-shelf groove and the vertical legs in a stable arrangement. The assembled shelving system does not require tools or separate fasteners for assembly, and assembly is quick, easy and intuitive, yet allows for flexibility, customization, and adaptation for different uses and desired aesthetics. A variety of very different shelving systems can be constructed by purchasing different frames, shelves, and accessories. The system can be leaned against a wall at an angle, or fastened vertically against a wall. Shelves are angularly adjustable, height adjustable, and replaceable. A pair of systems angled against each other form a free standing arrangement, and can support a header panel therebetween.

Abstract: The invention relates to a stacking column for holding warehouse items, in particular bodywork parts, on the support arms of ratchet levers, which pivot about a rotational axis from a resting position into a working position. Several ratchet levers are located above one another or next to one another and cooperate with one another. A supporting element, which in the working position lies on or against a preceding ratchet lever, rotates with the latter.
