  • Patent number: 12030574
Abstract: A system for storing bicycles includes an elongate supporting member and carriages. Each carriage has a body supported on and that can travel along the supporting member and a carrier component that extends downwardly from the body, suspending a bicycle. The carrier component rotates with respect to the body about an approximately vertical carrier axis. The carrying component moves vertically between a lower free position and an upper braking position. In the free position, the carrying component can rotate about the carrier axis and the body can travel along the supporting member. The braking position inhibits carrier rotation or body travel. Each carriage has a spring urging the carrying component towards the braking position, and against which the carrying component can be displaced to the free position by weight on the carrying component. The connection between the carrying component and the body allows tilting of the carrier axis.

Abstract: Three different families of mobile utility cart accessories may be quickly and easily attached to a mobile utility cart of the present invention using the inexpensive, but flexible modular accessory attachment system of the present invention. This is accomplished by releasably slidably attaching the accessories to vertical rails mounted adjacent corner edges of the utility cart. The rails share fundamentally the same cross-section, and are continuous and uninterrupted, so that the accessories may be positioned at any vertical location on the rails, and consequently, on the utility cart. No complicated rail clamps are necessary. Instead, just two types of fastener subassemblies are needed to attach the accessories to slots in the rails. These accessories may include, for example, a tool holster of the present invention capable of snugly retaining up to three power tools on the cart.

Abstract: A roller track assembly for use with a product display includes a roller having opposing support portions. An inner casing includes a base and opposing side walls extending orthogonally from the base. One of the opposing side walls forms a notch configured to receive one of the opposing support portions of the roller and defining a first interior surface. An outer casing has first and second walls in a parallel relationship with the opposing side walls of the inner casing. The first wall of the outer casing forms a notch configured to receive the one of the opposing support portions of the roller and defining a second interior surface. The outer casing is positioned with respect to the inner casing such that the one of the opposing support portions is cooperatively retained in place by a portion of the first interior surface and a portion of the second interior surface.

Abstract: Provided is a movable rack unit for taking in and out a storage object with respect to a storage space. The movable rack unit includes a guide part including a track member linearly laid inside the storage space and along a depth direction of the storage space and a moving body that moves along the track member. A support member is rotatably borne on the moving body, and the support member supports the storage object within the storage space. Further, this unit includes a rotation guiding part, and the rotation guiding part changes the attitude of the support member in accordance with the position of the moving body with respect to the track member. When the moving member reaches an opening portion side of the storage space, the rotation guiding part rotates the support member so that merely the support member is set outside the storage space.
