Abstract: A rotating display for collectibles such as, without limitation, comic books, magazines, coins, stamps, trading cards, and paper currency. In an embodiment, such a rotating collectibles display enables a collector to display a large number of their collectibles in protective frames, such that the display can rotate to allow the viewing of individual frames, and the frames within the display can rotate to allow the viewing of the back and front of the collectibles within the frames.

Abstract: An order point can be employed in a drive-through or similar setting. The order point can have one or more rotatable menu cases. Each rotatable menu case can include two opposing sides that are equally configured to display a menu. The menu case can be mounted to the order point in a manner that allows either side of the menu case to be rotated into a forward facing position. The menu case can also include angle stops which limit the range of rotation of the menu case and retain the menu case in the forward facing positions. The order point may also include a pivoting canopy which functions to shade the menu cases as well as to prevent damage when a vehicle is too tall.

The clip comprises a body, a spacer and a foot for holding the insulation board, and a connection region for attachment of the clip to a building structural member. Abstract: Color display systems are disclosed, wherein the color display system includes a main display unit and a secondary display unit. The main display unit can include a plurality of rotatable color selection pods where one side of the color selection pod displays a color(s) and the other side of the color selection pod includes receptacles that can hold color chips. The color selection pods are arranged in columns, and each column can represent a particular color family or color category. The secondary display unit can include a first sub-display and a second sub-display, with each sub-display displaying colors of particular categories or themes. The color display system can also include a central work center which can include a work table and rotating color display.

Abstract: An adapter for attaching a slatwall accessory to a pegboard comprises a first region with an elongated aperture being sized and shaped to receive an offset portion of the slatwall accessory therethrough, two hooks disposed on one edge of the first region and being configured to attach the adapter to the pegboard, a second region extending from the first region in a vertical direction and being offset therefrom in a direction away from the pegboard, during use of the adapter, and a flange terminating the second region and being configured to abut a surface of the pegboard during use of the adapter. The flange can be replaced with a third region to receive another flange of the slatwall accessory and a fourth region to detachably attach a bottom of the adapter to the pegboard. The adapter can be configured as a rail to attach a plurality of the slatwall accessories.

Abstract: Apparatus for displaying packaged collectables in a supportive and protective frame. A rear frame member is secured inside a front frame member with a latch. The front frame member has sidewalls that enclose the rear frame member. In one embodiment the latch relies upon magnetic coupling between the front and rear frame members. In another embodiment the latch includes a tab engaging a slot and at least one detent capturing the rear frame member inside the sidewalls of the front frame member. The front frame member has an opening to allow the protrusion of a blister if the collectable has a blister package. The rear frame member has a transparent pane or portion. The collectable is visible from the front and back of the frame. The front and rear frame members are separable by manipulating the rear frame member through at least one notch in the front frame member.

Abstract: One embodiment of the current application is a device that can mount to a surface or stand on a table and interchangeably displays one or more sheets of materials. The device comprises a front panel and a back panel. One or more linear wave springs are installed between the two panels. Sheets of materials can be inserted in-between one of the two panels and the linear wave springs. The linear wave springs hold the sheets of materials onto the front panel and/or the back panel. The visual information on the sheets is displayed through one or more display windows on the panels. Another embodiment of the current application is a device that displays a long sheet of material. There are images and/or messages of personal status, feeling, emotion, expression, or greeting on the long sheet of material. The long sheet of material passes over a supporting panel and is attached to two parallel rollers. The top and bottom portions of the supporting panel are curve shaped and flexible.

Abstract: A wall mounted tool rack having a plurality of pivotally attachable panels is disclosed. The tool rack includes an open rectangular frame mountable on a vertical wall, wherein the frame includes a number of horizontal mounting apertures which are spaced to match a spacing of a wall stud and accept a fastener used to mount the frame flush to the vertical wall, and a number of pivot apertures. The pivot apertures accept top and bottom pins of a mounting rail which is attached to a panel, and allows the panel to rotate about a vertical axis through at least 120 degrees of rotation. The panels may be composed of peg-board and may accept mounting clips which provide a means to attach or hang tools of different sizes, shapes, and weights to the panel.

Abstract: The present invention provides a display system for flat articles generally including a rack, one or more carriers, and a plurality of flat articles. The rack comprises a plurality of vertical rack supports and a plurality of horizontal rack supports forming bays between the vertical rack supports. The one or more carriers have an upper mounting bracket, a lower mounting bracket, a pair of upright members, and at least one pair of support members, and are attached to upper and lower horizontal rack supports within each bay. The pair of upright members are coupled to each of the upper and lower mounting brackets in a horizontally spaced-apart manner, and the pair of support members extends between the pair of upright members in a vertically spaced-apart manner. The plurality of flat articles may be slidably engaged with the pair of support members so that a front surface is exposed for viewing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a backlight module for providing light to a liquid crystal panel and a display device. The backlight module comprises an optical membrane material arranged at a back surface of the liquid crystal panel, and a module frame surrounding the optical membrane material. An end surface of the module frame facing the liquid crystal panel is located at the back surface of the liquid crystal panel, and the module frame supports the liquid crystal panel through the end surface. The display device comprises a liquid crystal panel and the backlight module. According to the present invention, the end surface of the module frame facing the liquid crystal panel is located at the back surface of the liquid crystal panel. As a result, it is able to provide a very narrow end surface of the module frame, thereby to narrow a bezel of the display device.

Abstract: An automated banking machine operates responsive to data bearing records. The automated banking machine includes a card reader that reads card data from a user card. The read card data corresponds to a financial account and is used to authorize the machine user to carry out a transaction on the financial account. The automated banking machine includes a display and a printer to produce records of a financial transaction carried out with the card reader. The automated banking machine also includes a validator arrangement including a currency note validator which reads data from a currency note in determining validity of the note. The note validator, while remaining supported by the machine, is slidable to extend outside of the machine where it can be pivoted to an orientation at which it can be serviced.

Abstract: The disclosed invention provides an improved means of storing and retrieving bottles of wine, other bottles of fluid, or other items. The invention provides for the labels of the bottles/items to be easily viewed. Additionally, the invention yields a format that allows the bottles/items to be stored in the limited depth afforded in cabinets normally used above kitchen counters. Another aspect of this invention is directed at, but not limited to, the use a refrigeration system to keep these items at the proper storage temperature. And so this invention relates to both an isolated storage system, and to that would be used in conjunction with a cooling/environmental chamber. So this invention presents a new method for the storage, display, and retrieval of bottles/items that is suitable for use at a plurality of heights, and additionally may either be a freestanding system or used within another structure such as a home cabinet, refrigerated or not.

Abstract: A flat-panel display with fixtures in its sidewalls to enable support by lateral mounting members is disclosed. The advantage of this approach, in which the fixtures are essentially rotated around to the sides of the flat-panel display, is the reduction in the portion of the portable computer's top cover that is not the active display. In practice, this results in an increase in the size of the display that may be housed in the same-sized top cover. In order to accommodate the lateral mounting of the flat-panel display, metal brackets are used. These brackets extend from the base unit hinges and cradle the display. This adds torsional rigidity, but also removes the requirement that the back must be structural. Further reductions in the inactive portions of the top cover may be achieved by extending the ends of the display's fluorescent back-light beyond or through the metal rim that surrounds the display.

Translation of the drawer frame relative to the support frame assembly is accompanied by pivoting of the pivot arms. During translation, the drawer frame remains in a horizontal plane and is held in a cantilevered configuration.

Abstract: An apparatus for evaporating liquid samples contained in sample holders mounted within a chamber and by rotated by the rotor during an evaporation process in which the pressure in the chamber is reduced below atmospheric and the sample holders are rotated at high speed so as to exert centrifugal force on the contents of the holders. Heat is supplied to elevate the temperature of the liquid component of the samples to assist in the evaporation process. The temperature of the sample material is continuously or regularly monitored during the evaporation process and temperature signals are transmitted to a remote computing means which is programmed to generate a control signal for controlling the supply of heat to the samples and controlling the evaporation process. The temperature may be sensed by a probe in a sample holder containing an evaporating liquid sample, or in an adjoining sample holder containing a buffer liquid. The rotational speed is also sensed and a speed signal conveyed to the computing means.

Abstract: A photo display device has a mounting bracket containing a rear flat surface to which are permanently attached magnets of suitable strength to allow the device to be magnetically affixed to a smooth metal surface such as the vertical wall or door of a refrigerator. Pivotally attached to the mounting bracket are multiple transparent sleeves each adapted to receive back-to-back photographs, cards, etc. The mounting bracket is such that the user can display and view all of the images merely by pivoting the transparent sleeves.

Abstract: A surface-mounted bracket for receiving and storing removable vehicle doors is disclosed. In general, embodiments of the bracket include an elongated bar, a first support bar connected generally perpendicular to the vertical bar, and a second support bar connected generally perpendicular to the vertical bar, the second support bar being offset and generally parallel to the first support bar. The support bars include support brackets that are adapted to receive the male hinge pins on vehicle doors. Cable troughs attached to adjacently mounted equipment racks cooperate to form continuous horizontal cableways.
