Abstract: Methods and apparatus for a support channel according to various aspects of the present technology comprise a support channel having a strengthening ridge positioned along a closed end of an open channel body. The ridge may extend along the length of the channel body to increase a load bearing capacity of the channel body as compared to a similar shaped body without the ridge. The ridge may comprise a rounded protrusion extending outward from the dosed end of the channel, body in a manner that provides additional resistance to loading forces.

Abstract: A baffle plate assembly for installation in a rack structure is disclosed. In one aspect, the baffle plate assembly is configured to direct cooling air from a front side of the rack structure to cooling air inlet(s) of equipment located directly above the baffle plate assembly, and to block heated air from below or behind the baffle plate assembly from entering the equipment cooling air inlet(s). In one aspect, the baffle plate assembly includes a baffle plate defining a first surface plane, a pair of side plates, and a pair of mounting brackets. The side plates are configured to extend along the baffle plate while the mounting brackets may be attached to the side plates. In one aspect, the baffle plate first surface plane forms an oblique angle with respect to a plane defined by a first plate member of the mounting brackets.

Abstract: A blanking panel is provided for blocking an aperture in a rack for mounting multiple hardware components. The panel includes: a frame having a first pair of parallel sides connected orthogonally to a second pair of parallel sides, where at least one of the pairs of parallel sides is adjustable in length; an attachment means provided on at least one of the pairs of parallel sides for removable attachment of the blanking panel to the rack; and a screen formed of a flexible and stretchable material extending between at least one of the pairs of parallel sides where the flexible and stretchable material stretches as the pair of parallel sides are moved apart thereby blocking the aperture.

Abstract: The new adjustable pallet rack stopper assembly facilitates the positioning of a pallet onto or under a pallet rack to prevent damage to a facility caused by the pallet, itself, or by material handling equipment during the pallet positioning process, as well as to prevent general displacement of the pallet while preserving necessary space between the pallet and the facility wall, piping, doors, electrical conduit, or other items adjacent to the pallet rack. The present invention is a compact, highly adaptable, and inexpensively elegant solution to these common problems arising in storage facilities using pallet rack storage systems.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a spacer device for use with a merchandise display. The merchandise display may include a first upright and a second upright opposite the first upright, a pegboard mounted between the two uprights, and at least one shelf mounted to the two uprights, wherein the configuration includes a gap between a back of the shelf and the pegboard. The spacer device may include two opposing ends. Each of the opposing ends may include a support arm that extends downward towards the gap, a mounting arm that extends downward towards the gap, and a tab that projects outward and away from the mounting arm. The spacer device may also include a gap filler portion extending between the two opposing ends wherein when the device is secured in the gap, the gap filler portion fills the gap.

The storage system may include at least one partition capable of being folded within at least one compartment to present at least three variations of sub-compartment arrangements within the compartment.

Abstract: An end display includes a base, an end panel coupled to a rear of the base, at least one channel mounted to the base and having an open top, a first wall panel and a spanner. The first wall panel is received by the at least one channel when the first wall panel is in a display position and is removed from the at least one channel when the first wall panel is in a storage position. The spanner is mounted to the end panel and includes at least one flange. The at least one flange has a first through hole for receiving a fastener that secures the first wall panel in the display position and a second through hole for receiving a fastener for securing at least the first wall panel in the storage position.

Abstract: In an embodiment of the disclosed technology, a tool caddy is removably mountable to a fixed portion of an automobile lift. The tool caddy is generally rigid, having a conical section and a cantilevered section. A U-shaped mounting bracket is adapted to be placed atop and/or around any fixed rectangular/square section of the lift. The conical section is shaped to accommodate an impact gun or other similarly sized and/or shaped tool. The cantilevered section has several portals disposed in a surface thereof for holding smaller tools. The tool caddy will secure in place, when it is A) wedged at least partially through the triangular opening of a truss, B) rested atop a rectangular portion of a beam of a truss, or C) slid along a beam until the top plate of the mounting bracket is wedged into a portion of the truss where the triangular section meets the beam.

Abstract: A divider kit for constructing and installing a divider system on a storage rack system of the type having a pair of parallel header elements at a top of a storage volume with a front-to-back depth and a side-to-side length to be divided by the assembled kit comprises components for constructing a plurality of main beams dimensioned to extend between and be supported upon the header elements in a spaced apart relationship and a pair of rails for mounting in a spaced relationship along the side-to-side length upon the main beams. The kit further comprises at least one u-shaped divider with two legs mountable upon the rails and depending therefrom to divide the storage volume into at least two sub-volumes. A variety of differently-sized divider systems may be assembled from the components.

The vertical extender is adjustably coupled with the support structure and includes side arms and a middle bar. The side arms extend substantially parallel to each other and each defines a top end. Each side arm is formed with a single closed shape cross section and is slidably received within a different vertical support of the pair of vertical supports. The middle bar extends between the side arms and includes two substantially parallel rails defining an elongated slot between the substantially parallel rails. The elongated slot extends along a majority of a length of the middle bar. The side arms and the middle bar are formed as a single, unitary component.

Abstract: Improved support posts are disclosed for shelving systems comprising one or more shelves spaced and supported by the support posts. Improved shelving systems comprising such support posts also are disclosed. The disclosed support posts have strengthening ribs extending longitudinally along their inside surface. The improved support posts and shelving systems incorporating the improved support posts have greater strength and rigidity with little added cost or weight of material.

The finished product can be custom manufactured to specific size, finish, material and design. The display can be assembled in multiple configurations based on the merchandising requirements. The product can also be used with or without several optional components. The display consists of a square tube frame with pre-punched holes approximately every four inches along the top and bottom horizontal frame members. Multiple frames can be attached together to create several merchandising display configurations using manufactured connectors. Each frame is outfitted with a merchandising panel. A decorative or functional element, such as display headers and decorative fins may also be attached to the outside of the frame.

The shaped channel can define one or multiple grooves, and the insert component can have one or multiple ribs that cooperate with the grooves to stabilize the insert component/support structure combination. The insert component can include at least one displaceable rib element for cooperating with a groove of the support structure.

Abstract: A dual function shelf unit has identical support columns, horizontal shelf-supporting beams adjustably-mounted on the columns for vertical shelf adjustment and one or more hooks also mountable on at least one column. The columns have apertures with complementary apertures having opposed inclined edges for accepting a beam-end bracket from either side of the column and tabs for accepting mounting flanges of hooks. Both beam-end brackets and hooks are each mounted in two vertically-spaced apertures. Vertically adjustable shelf and hook storage is provided.

The tile extends away from the support so as to approach a second associated merchandising structure spaced from the first associated merchandising structure. The tile includes a first portion and a second portion connected to the first portion and selectively slidable in relation to the first portion to change a size of the tile. A protrusion extends from the first portion. The protrusion is connected to the support to enable a movement of the tile in relation to the support thereby allowing selective access to any desired portion of at least one of the first and second associated merchandising structures. The tile front face can include a cut out section or a slot.

The delivery tray is attached to the front plate and defines an entrance. A first electromagnet, a second electromagnet, and one or more sensors are located on the delivery tray. The sensor(s) is connected to the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet. The sensor(s) detects merchandise dropping into the delivery tray and sends a signal to the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet; when the sensor detects no merchandise in the delivery tray, the shielding is engaged with the first electromagnet to cover the opening; when the sensor detects the merchandise in the delivery tray, the shielding is engaged with the second electromagnet to cover the entrance. A merchandise output method of the vending machine is also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a back plate, backlight module and liquid crystal display device. The back plate is formed by splicing a plurality of splicing elements, wherein at least some of splicing elements are connected through rotation mechanism so that the back plate can switch between normal usage state and folded state, the back plate in folded state is smaller than in normal usage state, at least one of the splicing elements is an aluminum extrusion. Through using aluminum extrusion as a part of splice-type back plate and heat-dissipating device, the present invention improves heat-dissipation capability of backlight module and increases the life span of backlight module. In addition, because the splicing elements of back plate are connected in a rotatable manner, the back plate can be folded so as to improve the efficiency of storage and transport and reduce storage and transport cost.

The panel support unit is selectively moveable between an open configuration and a closed configuration such that when in the open configuration the panel support unit is displaced to provide access to the items stored on the overhead part of the retail shelving system, and when in the closed configuration the panel support unit conceals the items stored on the overhead part of the retail shelving system.

The connecting member pivotally connects a first end of the first cable management arm and a first end of the second cable management arm to attain a first cable management configuration. The connecting member is removable from the first cable management arm and the second cable management arm. In response to removal of the connecting member, two opposing ends of the extension body are respectively connected to the first end of the first cable management arm and the first end of the second cable management arm to attain a second cable management configuration. The cable management device may be included in a rack assembly.

The fastener for being mounted on a shelf has two parallel slant ribs and an intermediate trough formed between the two slant ribs. The fastener is seated around and engaged with the sleeve by inserting the slant ribs and the foolproof block into the slant trough and intermediate trough, respectively.

Abstract: An article support, such as a shelf, is securely attachable at a plurality of locations along a generally vertical support or rail. The article support includes a support-engaging portion having one or more tabs, at least one of which is a locking tab having a forward-extending tooth that engages the vertical support, when the tab or tabs extend through slots in the support. Optionally, a biasing element urges the article away from the support to maintain secure engagement of the locking tab with the support. The resulting shelving system or article support system is resistant to accidental detachment of the article supports from the supports and permits relatively small adjustment intervals for the article supports along the supports.
