  • Patent number: 7121418
Abstract: A store fixture for displaying apparel or other hangable merchandise employs a horizontal support bar that is supported at an elevated position, and at least one swing-arm hang bar is pivotally supported situated underneath the horizontal support bar. The swing-arm hang bar has one or more projecting rods or tubes serving as arms on which the hangable merchandise can be suspended. The swing arm has a sleeve journaled on a pivot that is affixed to the support arm. There is a detent arrangement provided between the pivot and the sleeve, so that the swing-arm hang bar releasably locks into a first position that is at one angle to the horizontal support bar, parallel to the support bar, and a second position that is at another angle, a right angle, to it. Store personnel can change the orientation of the hang bars by simply lifting them up slightly to release the detents and ten rotating them to the desired position. Re-arranging the hang bars does not require any tools, nor removal or installation of any parts.

  • Patent number: 6651156
Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided that enable a central processing unit (CPU) to extend the attributes of virtual memory beyond that which an existing translation lookaside buffer within the CPU is capable of storing while at the same time preserving compatibility with legacy operating system software. The apparatus includes a translation lookaside buffer and extended attributes logic. The translation lookaside buffer (TLB) stores a plurality of TLB entries. Each of the TLB entries has an extended memory attributes index field. The extended attributes logic is coupled to the TLB. The extended attributes logic employs the extended memory attributes index field to access one of a plurality of extended memory attributes registers that is external to the TLB. Contents of the extended memory attributes register prescribe specific extended properties for a corresponding virtual memory page.

Abstract: A shelf support assembly is provided having a shelf post and a post support. The post support contacts an end of the shelf post and limits movement of the shelf post wall from at least two directions, such as from the bottom and from the side. An adjustment element such as a threaded bolt is movable relative to the post support for adjusting the position of the shelf post relative to an underlying surface. In another embodiment, a post support is provided with a body having an extended support surface for supporting an extended surface on a shelf post. The extended support surface can also include a side surface for supporting a wall of the shelf post from the side.

  • Publication number: 20020153341
Abstract: The locking connector interconnects a shelf-supporting beam to an upright of a knock-down storage rack. The locking connector includes a plunger which is connected to the connector and which is slidable between locking and unlocking positions. The plunger, when in the locking position, is within one of a number of openings formed in the upright with resulting locking of the upright to the connector. When the plunger is in the unlocking position, it is outside the opening thus allowing the upright to be separated from the connector. The first embodiment of the locking connector includes a resilient rod which is biased into a groove formed in the shank of the plunger when the plunger is in the locking position. The rod prevents the plunger from moving from the locking position unless a force, opposed to the bias of the rod, is applied to the plunger to cause the rod to withdraw from the groove. The second embodiment of the locking connector includes a housing which surrounds and protects the plunger.
